Hello
We will try this solution I found in another thread.
- Click on the Windows key + R, type services.msc and press ENTER.
- Scroll down to "Print Spooler" and then right-click and select Properties.
- Make sure that the startup type is automatic, then click on stop and then start it.

Windows 7 Windows cannot connect to the printer error
Hi, since a few days ago I was connected to a network printer and everything was fine. Today, nothing works. I removed the printer thinking that would help (and I could go out and find him), BAD!
I click on add a printer > add a network printer > select the network printer and get a box that says: I need to install a driver from the other machine, then I make him trust, etc blah blah blah, click OK and then get this error.
Windows cannot connect to the printer.
Operation failed with error 0x000003e3
Both machines are running Windows 7 x 64.
I googled all night with no solutions. Please help, I need to be able to print! Thank you!
I solved the problem. I had to join the homegroup computer, was too attached to the printer. Once I did, he saw the printer and installed the necessary driver. I can print now!

PC can connect to the printer, but Mac cannot even with updated drivers.
We have an HP Photosmart Premium C309g, which is connected to a Cisco Linksys EA2700 wireless router. The printer connects easily to the PC with windows 7. However on macs with Lion, the printer will be displayed when you type the IP address in the browser. However when you try to load the printer it does not appear. If you use the IP address to load it does not connect to the printer. He used to work. The only changes are a new PC and a new wireless router. I tried to update the drivers and software on the Mac. It did not help. Still the same problem.
Hello
Unlike Windows, peripheral Apple uses Hello (which is based on the multicast) to connect with the HP device over the wireless network.
As far as I'm aware routers Linksys not configured for multicast by its default value.
Try the following and check to see if that can help you:
- Enter the router from your browser homepage.
- Enter in the Security tab,
- Check filter multicast.
- CLCK save changes.
- Reboot the router and check any change.
Kind regards

IP address for LaserJet 4100N changed which resulted in "Impossible to connect to the printer" error
I had the printer (HP Laserjet 4100N) and the computer (desktop Mac OS X Version 10.6.8) unplugged for two months. When I enabled both, I wasn't able to print more. The two are connected by Ethernet (via an Airport Extreme 802.11n) cable
After printing the Configuration page, I noticed that the address of the printer HP JetSend is 10.0.1.8 now. It used to be 10.0.1.5
When I type http://10.0.1.8/hp/jetdirect, it is confirmed that the printer has a new address. When I go to preferences on the computer, followed by Print & Fax, I see the originating IP address always. When I go to options & offer, the originating IP address is present in the name and location boxes. I thought that I could just change the IP address both of these boxes to the new IP address. It does not work. (BTW and URL never lpd queue name change 10.0.1.5 to 10.0.1.8).
Then I thought that things would be solved by changing the new IP address to the former in the menu that appears when I look at http://10.0.1.8/hp/jetdirect. Which doesn't work anymore.
What Miss me?
Thank you
Patrick
It is resolved... I went to the Apple discussion Forum and saw this:
Regal909 , February 28, 2010 20:35
in response to Chuck StewartOK, this one is solved. In Print & FAX preferences panel, click on the button "+" to add a printer. Define the contextual menu Protocol to "HP Jetdirect - taken". In the 'Address' field, enter the IP address of the HP 4100.Leave the class 'tail' blank unless you use a print server. I'm not...
Set the 'Name' field to what you want as a name for this printer.
Set the field 'Place' to something that reminds you of where this printer is physically located.Currently, Mac has probably already found the printer by its IP address, select the driver appropriate for you, and so all you need to do is click the Add button.
Good impression...

The site compatibility Windows 7 says that this OS is compatible with my Officejet G85 all-in-one old. Whenever I try to add this printer is using the automatic functions or manual installation of the driver fails and I get the error message that "print processor does not exist. I tried to install the original with the most recent compatibility software is Windows 2000, but Windows 7 does not allow indicating that the program already exists and I have to uninstall it first. However, I can't find it listed anywhere for uninstall it, and the original software disk does not have this feature either. HP does not support printer and would not help provide. This printer worked perfectly with Windows XP and we really like it is equipped. Please help us raise this printer up and running with Windows 7 64 bit home edition. I tried things I found that it was similar in the forum with no success so far.
Hello
You can run the printer troubleshooter. Convenience store solves some common printing problems.
If your computer has problems printing, try using the printer Troubleshooter to solve the problem. He made sure that a printer is connected to your computer, and it checks for common issues such as whether the printer has enough paper and toner to complete printing your document.
Open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under hardware and sound, click on use printer.

Connection to the machine to ESX4 Wizard fails with "connection refused".
Environment: ESX 4 server, hosting VMware Studio 2.0 (final version), will deploy device created in the same ESX host.
-
In my profile generation, generation settings section, I chose VMware ESX/ESXi 4.x and entered the Connection Wizard...
Host, Port, user, password fields are filled.
Connection test fails with the following message is displayed:
Failed: error connecting to the server " " https://x.x.x.x:443/sdk/vimService ': connection refused
My initial inspection is that it is probably caused by the server proxy/ISA on our network. It is know to cause some problems with https connections and some browsers. I am not sure that it is the first cause, but this is my first guess.* *.
There are balls that can confirm?
Is it possible to force a non-secure http connection?
No, it's not a way to connect by using http.
Try the following:
stop /etc/init.d/VAMI-SFCB
http_proxy = / opt/vmware/sbin/vami-sfcbdhttp://your_proxy:proxy_port;
Now, try the user interface.

trying to access a lexmark printer installed on xp based computer from a laptop running windows7 via a local network. Although the network is configured correctly, when I run the Windows printer installation I get an error message ' Add printer. Connect to the printer. Windows cannot connect to the printer. Operation failed with error 0x0000007e"I just upgraded to Vista by using the upgrade Acer and had the problems that Windows tried to download the drivers from Lexmark-, but could not. [the same lexmark printer and the configuration worked without any problems before the upgrade on this combination of machines running vista and xp].
I had a similar problem when I tried to connect to an hp printer that used a Vista driver. Could do this test? Download Windows 7 driver from Lexmark, install it, and then try to connect to the printer again. Andre Da Costa http://adacosta.spaces.live.com http://www.activewin.com

Original title: printer HP LaserJet 4050 of PCL6 compatible with Windows 7?
I have a desktop windows xp pro (SP3 5.1.2600) and you have a printer HP LaserJet 4050 PCL6. The printer works fine connected to the desktop computer with a parallel port. I'm trying to share the printer on my home network so that Win 7 (6.1.7601 SP1) laptops can use its printing features. Please help.
First I tried to add it with \\hostname\printername that returned this error: windows cannot connect to the printer: operation failed with error 0x000004f1.I downloaded and installed the Win7 drivers on the HP site on my laptop Win7, that has not changed a thing: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=18318&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=25475&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4063Thanks in advance for any help / support!Hello
1. the two Windows XP, Windows 7 connected in a same workgroup?
2. can you access files shared XP of Windows 7 computer?
3. check if the printer is shared or not?
I suggest you follow these methods and check.
HP LaserJet 4050 PCL6 printer is not compatible with Windows 7. Printer drivers are available for Windows XP-based computers only.
It is not in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.
I sugegst you contact HP support for Windows 7 drivers, after you instaall drivers to check with the question.

Unable to connect to my printer - operation failed with error 0x00000002
My printer was working with my laptop via a wireless network. Now I can't print or connect to my printer. I'm always connected to the network, but I can't connect to the printer. When I try to add it, I can see the name of the printer and I select it, but I get the error "Windows cannot connect to the printer" [operation failed with error 0x00000002]. I changed from Windows Vista to Windows 7, several months ago, but I don't know if that makes a difference (I think I used printer at least once since I change). Help, please.

Click on "services and applications", then click on 'services '.
Scroll down to "print spooler", right click and select "Properties".
Click 'STOP' service, and then click on 'START' service.Start the "Add printer" Wizard and it worked, yay!

Hello
I have a Windows XP pro (Lenovo) that I recently ran the recovery and returned to certain configurations of 1.5 years. Now I can't add a network printer and get always the message error «Windows cannot connect to the printer or the name of the printer...» ». I ping the printer and all on my network can add these printers, it's just that a machine that fails to add network printers.
I disabled the firewall, but were still unable to add the printer. Then I found some difficulties to register for a similar problem, but they were not useful... It really becomes a big headache, especially Windows restore does not work...
I strongly suspect that 1.5 years, someone has renamed the printer. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the print server through My Network Places and see what it's callednow . Otherwise, you could ask your network/system administrator. You should know... Please vote if this has been helpful! Please, click on Brand or propose as answer if that answered your question!
