Connected to internet but not able to access Web sites

Hello

I have a Dell Latitude E5410 using Windows 7 ultimate with IE 8

The laptop seems to be connected to the internet but not able to browse any websites. I checked with IE, Google chrome, firefox as well.

I disabled the proxy settings in the LAN to internet options, always the same question.

Reset settings tcp/ip so using winsock reset, reinstalled the drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled browsers and still the same issue.

restored windows in the last working restore point, still the same problem.

scanned with the Microsoft Malware removal tool, as well as with both windows defender and no suspects were found.

Tried all most all the steps online to reset the log ip so also the steps in msconfig that comes as a response to this community, but still the same issue.

The address sometimes bar said as invalid address and take the url as http:///

Checked the IP settings and able to ping both Web sites and also windows taking updates.

The only issue is not able to navigate.

What else can I do to solve the problem, with about reinstalling windows?

This means generally that you are connected to your network, but not the Internet.

If you use a wireless connection, this may mean the wireless network password which is stored in your computer's a mismatch with the router.  Try to connect with a cable.  Try to reset the password of your router wireless and rename your network.

It is also quite possible that you have no connection to your Internet service provider.  Restart your modem and your router if you have separated.

If the router is separated, try to connect with a cable directly to the modem.

    I have two sites, A Site with a 5510 firewall and Site B with a user with a basic internet connection.

    I need the user to be able to access the PC and the servers here.

    I created a so called remote access VPN and the user can connect to this Site b.

    They get an ip and dns address but no default gateway.

    I am unable to what whether on the network 10.255.0.0/16 ping or access any servers.

    I'll post the config and maybe someone could show me what I'm missing!

    I wouldn't recommend configure the ip pool in the same subnet as your internal network. Please configure a subnet pool a different ip address.

    However, with the current setup, you're absent NAT exemption for these subnets:

    allow inside_nat0_outbound to access extended list ip 10.255.0.0 255.255.0.0 10.255.11.0 255.255.255.0

  • Firefox manages not to display images much (but not all) on the Web sites that I visit, certain images are displayed and some are not even if they are in the same format.

    I recently changed my ISP because I had connectivity problems. Especially my router would be closed sporadically. As part of my attempt to identify issues, I ran some spyware that I was told that I could trust. Since then, I have a problem looking at many websites as much (but not all) images are missing, even on websites that I know very well, including my own. What is odd, is that on one site each page has an image jpg under the navigation bar and all these jpg appear except for one who does not even appear when I reload images. This problem also makes security of sensitive sites as my amateur full site look Bank that scares me. The problem does not occur on other web browsers.

    What spyware software do you run?

    Make sure that allow you pages to choose their colors and you have not enabled high contrast in the Windows accessibility settings.

    • Check the permissions for the domain in the active tab in "tools > Page Info > Permissions.
    • Check that the images are enabled: Tools > Options > content: [X] loading images automatically
    • Check exceptions in "tools > Options > content: Load Images > Exceptions.
    • See the tab "tools > Page Info > media ' for blocked images (scroll all the images with the cursor key).

    If an image in the list is grayed out and there is a check mark in the box "block Images of..." and remove this mark to unlock the images from this area.

    There are also extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) and security software (firewall, antivirus) that can block images.

I can connect (user based permission system) download internet, e-mail, can print on my printers network, access access to the other computers on my network via remote, but can not directly access all servers or other computers on my network. If I connect to another computer on the same network, I have full access to all of the servers, etc. It started a few weeks ago. Any user who logs on my machine has the same problem, including users admin just tried to see if I can be seen on the network from another machine. People can see my computer and access my files.

    I used it to uninstall all tunnel adapters. Once the tunnel adapters have been removed and I restarted my computer, everything works fine.

    I get the following error message when you use the Page convert to PDF module in Internet Explorer: "not able to access installation of Acrobat Capture Web. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input. ».

    I use Acrobat X (with latest updates) on Windows 8.1, 64-bit and IE 11 (both with all latest updates).

    When I click on the button to convert the top of IE, I'm asked to select the file location and name.  When I click on save, I'm presented with this error.  The utility creates a file, but it is unreadable - opening it gives an error in Acrobat, saying that the file is not a supported file type and it was damaged.

    I have seen this error in the forum and took the advice given to run the repair via Add/Remove programs.  I have run the repair and restarted twice, but to no avail.

    I also uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, but again, no luck.

    Please let me know what to try next.

    Please post on the Adobe forums.

    Internet Explorer (and even other browsers) sometimes finiky when used with a program in administrator mode.

    So, please right click on the Acrobat icon and choose ' properties > Compatibility tab "and uncheck the"Run this program as an administrator"option.

    Another way to check the specific permissions for the site is to use the Page Info dialog box. While on a Google.com page, either:

    • Right click and select View Page Info > permissions
    • ALT + t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > permissions

    In the dialog box that opens, check the permissions to "Set Cookies" and "Maintain offline storage" and adjust as required. (Example screenshot attached.)

    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
    When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

    Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

    Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

    You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

    I have a HP Mini 110-1100 CTO PC.  Using HP Instant web I can connect to my home wireless network and Internet access.  However, when I open the pre-installed Windows XP Home Edition, the WLAN watch is on, but I can't access the Internet.  "Network connections" shows that I am connected to my wireless network, but I can't access the Internet in any mode. I tried to fix the connection without success.  I restored the computer to the initial settings, but no solution. Cisco said that my router is fine.  They think that the problem is software HP.  Can someone help me with this problem?

    I faced a similar problem in my laptop autour 4months ago. After Googling a bit through my laptop, I discovered that the zone alarm firewall that I installed was blocking all http connections, because it has not been configured correctly or its configuration has changed after a while. I tried to configure it but not has not been successful, so I uninstalled it and I was able to access the internet via wifi in my laptop after that. If you are not able to access norton, you will not be able to configure it, and most likely it will not work, I guess. Try to re-setup of norton. If this does not work, uninstall norton from your laptop and try to connect to the internet after that. If you encounter a problem with norton, then it is better to go for some other security software.

    I have a desktop H8-1228 and 6510 e - printer.  I got both products at the same time.  I did the initial installation, and everything worked perfectly.  I was able to print of my HP Touchpad (the printer was on the floor and my Touchpad was down.).  Recently, I made a trip for two weeks.  I turned off the printer.  This seems to have been a mistake.  Now, he will only contact my network and Internet, but not the computer.  The Setup program keeps telling me that it is 'Impossible to find the printer' and that he wants me to check the IP address of the printer.  I did this many times by printing the HP's Configuration Page from the printer screen.  I also used Windows "Add a printer" without success.

    I have installed and uninstalled the software several times; every time that remove the icon of the printer and the Standard TCP/IP port in the "Devices and printers" section in Control Panel.  A few minutes earlier, I used Regedit to delete any reference to the series of HP Photosmart 6510 in the registry, believing that it could help my situation.  There can be no. :-(  I did the installation with the same problems that I had all the other times that I tried to install it.

    No help from you the printer experts will be greatly appreciated.  I'm not a novice as you can see.  This situation, however, launched my posterior. :-))

    You may want to enable disable all startup programs in msconfig until you are able to access the Web integrated printer server. It seems that there is something in the communication with the printer's operating system blocking. It will most likely software firewall or security related.

    Do you receive kb from the internet source or is it local only, and when trying to access the page host does upward with the site not found or 404 error, have you tried to repair the connection, it could be your antivirus protection is blocking the signal.
