  • Audio stops when the mp3 player is connected

So, I had one of these cheap ipod shuffle mp3 player knock-offs. When I plug USB, audio stops playing in my speakers. When I unplug audio is back to my speakers. I think windows think that my mp3 player is an audio device such as a helmet, and so when I plug it in, it redirects to the USB port. No one knows how to tell windows not to think about my USB/mp3 player as an audio device, so I can keep the audio goes to my speakers to.

    Solved.

  • Satellite A110 - no bass while playing with the mp3 player

    Hello...

I want to play my mp3 - but there's that no only the heights of the bass is there. When I burn songs on CD and play on a hifi-system string - they are OK - but when I want to play with media player there is no bass. I took a (Cinch) cable and connect it to the stereo and there is the problem with the low...-channel stereo is o.k. - cable is correctly mounted.
The mp3´s are not damaged... (When I burn an audio CD and play - the bass exists.) the RCA cable is OK - I checked it...

Is it possible that the sound chip is damaged? In the settings audio are no failures indicated.

more: I connected my mp3 player with Cinch cable on the system stereo with the same songs I ve got it on my laptop... impeccable acts...

    Greetings

    Hello

I guess that the Toshiba Virtual sound utility has been pre-installed on this laptop.
There you can change and set the audio settings for example: level trueBass.
I think you should open this utility and if you n t know the option use simple help this utility
You have to press F1 to launch the help document.

PS: If you have connected the laptop to stereo and use the stereo settings you should try to disable the virtual sound utility on the laptop

  • Windows XP Home OS for mp3 player

I'm about to buy a new Sony mp3 player. Sony, as opposed to Apple, because I want to be able to download files directly from Media Player in my office. The description of the product lists Windows XP Home it's OS.

Never mp3 players connect to the web on their own when they are connected to a host computer to trade in charging or a file? To update their operating system - do the update to their OS' at all - as your desktop using automatic update? Given that XP will be more secure in this area, I was wondering if there will be problems with the viral infections or malware when it is connected to the host.

XP will also secure in 20 years, as it is today... or maybe not, as someone can always try to find a loophole to get there, but never decrease in the number of people using it, it is much more likely pirates will focus on new versions of the operating system.

You must read the instructions for mp3 player see if he does speak everything home via internet, but I would have thought that there is a manual in the Middle option, if it isn't.

    Hey Webb,

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: I suggest to change the Bill of Exchange to the drive and then try to connect the device.

How to change drive letter assignments in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307844

Method 2: I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: While running scan on the hard drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when scanning try to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

    I hope this helps.
