Connecting to a site locked/secured generates the warning?
I check my email from Verizon via the Web, the login procedure has the gray padlock. However, according to the latest update of Firefox, try to sign in site results in the following security warning: "Although this page is encrypted, the information you entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party." Two response buttons are available: continue and cancel.
I hope that my memory is not faulty, but I do not remember the past never before. Is there a bug in the version of Firefox that I use, maybe?
Yes, I have already restarted Firefox. I even rebooted my system. The problem remains, however.
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Connection diagram missing in DAQ Assistant generate the signalling block
This is my first post so please excuse the quality of my description.
When I double click on the block of data acquisition - Assistant, there is no tab connection diagram I can access to see how things are wired to the top. I have a NI USB-6211 connected by USB and it is used to control many different sensors and a power supply. Currently, he works for everything and is hard wired correctly, but only blocks DAQ Assistant has a connection diagram available, the other are not. One who has a connection diagram is used to measure a voltage. Others who do not are used to generate a signal. I would really like to be able to see patterns of connection for each block.
-Any help would be appreciated
-Thank you
You can always do like those who never use the DAQ Assistant and read the manual. Right click on the device in MAX and selecting "stitching of the device" works too.

Since the last update of Firefox (Version 4.0.1) I do not see a security lock when I connect my two web sites to secure Bank so am forced to use Internet Explorer for internet banking. I contacted the St George Bank and the ANZ Bank and both say that the problem with Firefox, not their systems. They advise also strongly me to not perform Internet banking unless the security padlock closed is visible in the window secure. The padlock is not visible when I connect secure site of PayPal. Before the upgrade, this problem did not exist and there is no when I use IE. Firefox is my favorite browser.
The status bar everything has been redesigned, so now allows you to check if the site is secure the box to the left of the address (green, blue or plain).

Where I can see that a site is safe there used a visible lock and I don't see any more.
In Firefox 4 and later you no longer have the Status bar which showed the padlock in previous versions of Firefox.
The padlock shows only that there is a secure connection and does not guarantee that you are connected to the right server.
So you could always be connected to the wrong server if you make a typing mistake in the URL and someone said that mistyped the URL.
The lock feature has been replaced by the How do I know if my connection to a Web site is secure? on the left end of the address bar.See also:

He was going to make a purchase online and noticed the lock which is usually in the lower right was not there, so is not entered my credit card information and did not purchase. How will I know if I am safe browsing/shopping if I don't see this lock? Thank you.
Padlock is therefore more part of Firefox; It has been removed from Firefox 4. The padlock shows that there is a secure connection, but does not provide any additional information. You could make a typographical error, and have always been connected to a secure connection. The lock was replaced in Firefox 3 with the Site identity button. I am very concerned about my safety online. I think that the lock should be included in this new version of the browser too. I seems that firefox has released an unfinished browser, and I think he has ignored the common safety tips to make a nice browser as a guarantee. Firefox is the most secure browser of all time and I want it to be that it might be.

Question on the issue of whether or not a site is secure
HI -.
I had a question about whether or not a site is secure.
With Internet Explorer it will say https:// and there will also be a closed padlock.
With Firefox, it says https://, but I do not see a padlock anywhere.
I just wanted to be sure that it always passes through a secure site, even without the padlock.
Is there anything else I should check or I'm OK as long as there is the letter ' after 'http '? -even if there is no padlock?
Thank you

http:// and https://
The Protocol (http://) was removed from the URL in the location bar for http:// only pages in Firefox 7 and newer versions. Secure pages will always show the https:// Protocol. This can be confusing for some users. There is also a bug known, where if you copy the URL after selection of the awesome bar dropdown (but before loading the page) it does not include the http:// part.Users can revert to the old behavior (showing http://) by setting browser.urlbar.trimURLs to false in about: config
- type of topic: config in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
- If you see a cautionary, accept it (promise to be careful)
- Search = browser.urlbar.trimURLs
- Double-click the pref in the lower panel of toggle it on 'false' OR , do a right-click on the pref in the lower panel, then choose "Toggle" switch it on "false."
- close the topic: config tab

When making online purchases is more an indication that a site is secure.
Previous versions of Firefox has always shown that little padlock symbol on the bar address or at the foot of the page.
Even on sites that are confirmed THAT SSL protected, there is no indication that on the screen.

on the State lock security bar has disappeared. How to recover or is it indeed?
On Firefox 3, the status bar would show a padlock for secure sites. He isn't here on Firefox 4. Is - that other place? If this isn't the case, how do I get it back?
Excluding the toolbar at the bottom in Firefox 4, the security lock icon is no longer present. To check if a site is secure, look in the address bar at the page. If the beginning of the Web site starts with https:// (instead of http://) and the icon name and company of the site Web appears on a green or blue background (see the image attached), then the site is secure.

HP Simple Pass only allows the connection to Web site but works
Simple passage no longer works to log on to the Web site. The program itself works and when I slide it opens upward new Web sites in another window, but is no longer prompting me or allow me to use it to connect to Web sites. This started when I reset my settings of IE9 (which I did because all of a sudden, I couldn't open new tab or new websites). Internet options reset fixed the problem of navigation, but then I could no longer use simple past. I did a system restore, which fixed the issue simple pass, but then reinstated in the navigation of the show, so I undid the restoration. There must be a setting on internet options that is initially simple past to no longer work, but I can't understand it. Please help because after using simple pass for the last 2 years, I don't remember my password! Thank you!
Hmm... I really don't know what the SimplePass old interface looks like - it's been a long time I saw that and now I can't access a machine with something older than SimplePass 5.4.0.620
The new version you are installing is to install an "overload", in other words, you will not remove anything. You can install the new version and not the export/backup after the installation.
After updating to the new Version:
Export is something you want to do from time to time that you add or update your webcards (Web sites / passwords).
If you don't like the idea of the hard reset driver (described previously), Dungeon it bothers me for later - the driver Hard Reset works for all kinds of 'weird' tangles: sudden SimplePass strangeness, errors "funny screen" touch touch which cease to operate or act funny, sometimes even webcams (although these can be a little tricky to fix).
For this operation - the SimplePass upgrade, you can just kick the driver Validity Sensor itself. Reset of driver is a good idea when installing SimplePass - it "opens", so to speak, the installation of the software is more likely to go well.
Reinstall the existing validity sensor driver:
Open Control Panel > Device Manager > open biometric devices >
Right click on your validity sensor driver > Uninstall ( NOT delete)
Reboot the laptop in a way the pilot can relocate that you connect to
Then,.
Download this new package SimplePass and double-click it to install just above your current version - that is to say, do not remove your software SimplePass existing, just load this version on top of what you have now.
sp59664 HP SimplePass V6.0.100.257 Win7-8
After you have upgraded to the latest version of SimplePass, you will be able to see the settings, Options, and '? '. Help sections in 'Splash', i.e. SimplePass when you open it.
In addition to the export:
You can PRINT ON your webcards. This carries some risk; the question of the use of SimplePass is to preserve the security of your passwords. However, if you are in danger to forget or lose your password, you can print the list. Printing will take about 95% of the words of past, or so... true make sure you keep the list printed somewhere safe.
Start SimplePass > Options (between the parameters 'wheel spikey' and the '? ') > print all web cards
