Connection Manager HP stopped responding + Windows Installer Error 1719

I am running Windows 7 (SP1) 64-bit operating systems.

Started getting an error message of connection manager HP "HP Connection Manager Service has stopped responding. Error code 8008005.

HP Connection Manager v4.1.23.1 running.
When I try to install a new version of v4.4.10.1 (SP58930) HP connection manager, I get an error of Windows Installer 1719. Tried different solutions recommended for this, but nothing has worked.

I see in the forum after this uninstall of the current version and then install the new version of the HP connection manager can solve my original problem.

Before uninstalling the currenet HP Connection Manager version, I wanted to be sure that I will be able to install the new version without encountering Error 1719. I don't want to be in an even worse situation of not being able to the HP Connection Manager after you uninstall it.

Can I get confirmation from HP that I will be able to successfully install a new version after uninstalling the current version?

A ran the Microsoft Fixit then tried to install it and got the Windows Installer Error 1719.

Then uninstalled HP connection Manager.

Tried to install the HP (SP58930) connection manager and still have the error Windows Installer 1719.

What do you suggest I try next?

The fact that HP Connection Manager is no longer installed, how this will affect my computer?

The fact that it is no longer installed will have no effect on the functioning of your laptop and none on the operating system.

HP connection manager is simply a utility assistance for people who are making it difficult for the network through conections wifi and bluetooth connections.

If you are not in this group it is really useless.

From your description, it seems that if you can't follow instructions in the Microsoft fixit to the letter. By using the fixit is the easiest way to remove the registry entries and make changes to the registry that will allow installing and uninstalling software. I can't recommend the methods that I use personally when I run on these issues because they involve access to the registry via regedit. The word people have never even heard of Regedit. Using Regedit can be a very bad thing for someone not experienced in the use of the registry editor. All ch = angels did take place immediately and which included all the mistakes made during the access to the registry. Ongoing work on an operating system can fairly easily through the registry editor. Try the Microsoft fixit. It is a safe utility. Use it after an attempt to install and leave the window open until after error that does compete with the installation of the software.

    guys what should I do... pls help >< i="" love="" this="" game="" so="">

If it isn't your game, then the Compatibility Center W7 says that is not compatibile. But it seems there are other versions that can run.

Make sure that your installation discs (if his coming to a CD/DVD) are all the scratches/dirt free and clean. A bad scratch or dirty mark on a disc can cause 'odd questions' sometimes.

There are a few things to try:

    1. find the Setup program you are running for the game and which run in XP compatibility mode.

2 in case of failure too and then try to run it in XP Compat mode and as administrator.

I noticed there are a few paths on the www, if you get it installed, it may be an idea to get patches and install them to the best game(check AV before installing).

  • Smartphones & Windows Installer error blackBerry Desktop Manager

I hope someone can help! Desktop Manager (DM) was working fine yesterday and I didn't do any changes, updates or updates since then. Today, DM does not open and when he tries, a Windows Installer message appears that says "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource. Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package ' ApploaderWebSL-Upgrade [1] .msi in the box below. »

If I hit OK, it still appears once, if I hit Cancel, it appears once again - in short, I can't make go away unless I close DM using end of program-Desktop Manager (who aren't liked, etc.)

Browsing the forums, it is suggested that DM be uninstalled via the control panel - I tried and it tells me I need to install the CD. The CD supplied with the curve would not work if the program has been downloaded. I tried to download an upgrade, but am not sure that one to select (and cannot open DM to find what version I have now and if there is a newer version available)

Detailed solutions, step by step would be more useful that I am far from being a techie...

    Thank you!

    Sherri

None of the solutions posted worked. I ended up contact service tech Rogers and they remotely connected and were able to get DM works again. Thanks for your help and suggestions! They are appreciated!

  • Windows guard stop my iTunes program. It is an occurrence relatively new. The error message is a Windows Installer error message.

I installed iTunes about 2 years ago. I used it to download music on my iPod. A few weeks ago, when I tried to access iTunes store to buy new music, I got the message from Windows Installer saying that the Setup file was not available - iTunes message is: "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource. .. .enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package iTunes64.msi... »

You get this message because the installation file you downloaded about 2 years ago is long gone (you probably deleted shortly after you have installed iTunes).

Why something is trying to access the installer is a different matter. Probably the best way to proceed is to completely uninstall iTunes and reinstall the latest version. This will NOT delete your music and playlists (but of course, you should have backups for all these data in any case).

You neglected to indicate what version of Windows you have, but given that you asked your question in a forum for Windows 7, use the following instructions--> RBanque‑client, and then reinstall iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8

Now, I get a message that the Windows Installer service is not available. When I go to Services and try to start the installer, I get an error 5:access denied. I tried to install the Windows Installer (MSI) 4.5 and I get a message that the update does not apply to my system. I am out of options and would like that to then try. And I would like to know why this problem that is happening now. Is there an update I installed that caused this problem? I really don't want to reinstall windows and start all over again a workabnle solution would be appreciated.

Utility Windows Installer Cleanup has been retired by Microsoft very recently because she was too breaking other parts of Windows, it was supposed to only really be used with MS Office applications. This explains further.

  • Windows Installer error saying that my drive's mbr, although it is really TPG.

    Hello

I really hope you can help me with my problem.

I have a retina of Macbook pro mid 2012 with a 256 GB ssd, installed with El captain.

I am train via boot camp to make a partition with Windows 10.

Windows setup via a San Disk 16 GB USB 3.0 purchased for this purpose.

Everything going smoothly until the part where you install windows.

Boot camp every reboot my Mac it comes up with a black screen saying "Non system disk. Press any key to restart '.

No matter what button I press it is not restart. I found myself pressing the power button until it stop. Then put it on again and pressing the ALT key.

Here I have two options Macintosh HD or EFI boot. I choose to start EFI. Windows Installer starts.

During the windows setup process where you choose which partition you want to install top says (after that I formatted to ntfs):

(translated from Danish) "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is the MBR. In EFI systems windows can be installed only on GPT disks.

Funny, it's just that my ssd is TPG. My USB drive is as well, I tried formatting with my mac, a computer windows and Rufus. All said that it is the TPG.

I tried to format my USB drive and partition my ssd using only the discutility and not the boot camp program. Same result.

I tried to make the unallocated space on my ssd so that install Windows could make the partition it self (I read this discussion in here) does not work either.

I tried with gdisk and the terminal to do what was suggested in another threat here, but the terminal told me that the partitions were on top of the other or something like that. And who were my technical abilities and courage run out. I would ruin not rather my precious Mac and terminal gave a few warnings.

Can someone help me? I would be very grateful.

You have a few different questions.

    1. your drive is a GPT with a hybrid MBR disk. Check the output of the following command in Terminal

    sudo fdisk/dev/disk0

    2. If you choose to boot from USB EFI and BCA creates a hybrid MBR, you will get the error you describe.

    3. your USB drive isn't supposed to be TPG, it takes a FAT/MBR.

    4. When you press the button works / stop, the partial installation of Windows will appear when you use the Alt key. Information Windows startup is now resident on the Mac's EFI partition, but it is not complete yet. Your icon USB EFI will restart Windows Setup.

    5. do you have a Time Machine backup of Mac OS X?

Download a FREE program called Revo Uninstaller

http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html>. It allows to uninstall any program completely, including the files of monitoring programs. works very well, that you should have no problem more reinstall after uninstall this program.

Just don't allow the computer to restart if the part of Revo Uninstaller asks you if you want to restart now or later. Select afterwards and let Revo finish an orphan looking for registry entries. Reboot after Revo ends.

  • Windows Installer error - "Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if Windows Installer is not installed correctly"

Original title: Windows Installer could not access
I am running Vista Home Premium x 64. Recently when I try to install/upgrade programs up-to-date currently any Apple IE iTunes Quicktime and Safari I get this message.

Windows Installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if Windows Installer is not installed properly.

The window update fails on the stage of the installation. I have read several threads and tried several fixes, but without success.
I have disabled/restarted/activated/restarted and switched to manual, auto and back with no success. When I try to force an early Setup, I get the following message:
The Windows Installer service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically that they are not in use by other services or programs.
I deleted the temp under apps folder. I copied the reg. Since a sound Vista machine and imported into my machine setup. I tried again with a reg. offered in one of the sons, all with no change.
I tried to install version 4.5, but was unsuccessful (it looks like I got lucky there).
May be related or yet another problem, whenever I have Windows Live Mail, a ope 'preparation for the installation of window lights up for about 15 seconds before disappearing and then my mail opens.
I don't have a Vista CD. My HP provides on a partitioned drive recovery files. There seems to be no usable on my computer restore points.
    Ideas? Help?

  • [eSSO] Connection manager not autostart on Windows 7.

I installed the latest version of the connection to my Windows 7 Manager, but I discovered that the application does not start automatically as Windows starts. I tried to put it in the startup folder, but the results are the same. I also installed another Windows 7, of society, and the scenario is the same. In a jobs to another company (XP), LM works fine (it starts with Windows).

Anyone know if this is a bug with Windows 7?

    Hello

    ESSO-LM is designed to run when the user login and is launched in a logon of Windows 7 with the "userinit" registry key located at;

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

The value of this key on a Windows 7 (64 bit in this example) should have the following text in the string somewhere - "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Passlogix\v-GO" /startsso,.

If you select authenticator v2 Windows installation, installation should put this article in automatically. If he is not present or is inhibited by a policy, for example, then ESSO does not in the prescribed manner.

It is possible to launch ESSO via another method, but the above is the method designed.

    Hope this helps
