  I get the error 80048820 and a key Port error when I try to connect to Live Messenger.  Only, I have re-installed Norton Internet Security 2010.  Live Messenger worked before.  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on a core i7 with 6 GB memory machine.

  Norton is almost certainly the cause of the problem (and it's normal with this software).  I bet that if you turn off or uninstalll it (using the Norton Removal Tool and not of Vista uninstall functionality) have more trouble with Messenger.  But there may be an another one available so you should talk to the experts.

  BitLocker can be the thing to aim for. Airplane mode is so new that there probably isn't much (if any) documentation on how to change these settings in command line.

  I tried everything I could according to tiny knowledge I have of the technical aspect of the Surface RT

  so I finally made a Reset which has no less then 02:45 hours to return with all the tweak, settings, installations and updates, I had on my Surface.

  I'll never use this button to plane more until my Surface RT death even if I'm on a plane that will soon be passing.  I prefer crashing somewhere than to have to redo this RESET the horror!

  Hope one thing.  Microsoft should listen to this carefully:

  Do the airplane mode with any available behind the lock screen internet connectivity just before sign you so we can ensure that we're not stuck outside.

  Oh yes you suggested to have another user as a Local account. Well, maybe, but let's say that a lot of people don't want to have another user on their Surface, even if it's to be safe outdoors.  I don't even know if it would have saved my butt anyway.  I have my lesson for good.

  I suggest you follow the methods below and check if it helps.

  Method 1: If you use a Proxy connection, then try to disable the proxy connection and check.

  Follow the steps to disable the proxy:

  (a) click on the Tools button and then click on Internet Options.

  (b) click on the Connections tab, then click LAN settings.

  (c) select the use a proxy server for your LAN check box.

  (d) in the address box, type the address of the proxy server.

  (e) in the Port box, type the port number.

  I was hoping to get some suggestions on how we could better use Acrobat Connect Pro for live stream an upcoming event. Every year we organize an event with a live and online audience. Traditionally, we asked our animators to talk into a microphone that is connected to a SOUND system in the room and then a separate microphone connected to a cell phone photos to the top of the audio that come out of the sound system and passes it on to the way to connect.   I've produced dozens of events like yours. The best solution is to find some kind of audio output on your SOUND system port. Maybe it's a headphone jack, but it works very well. What connection you can find, get a cable that connects to this port at one end and the other end to fit into your PC/Mac using either micro-dans or USB. You should only configure Flash to watch this entry. The best way to proceed is to run the Audio Wizard of Connect.
