  I have some experience with NAT9914xx.  I understand, from various sources, this ASIC is connected to the GPIB bus through a Transceiver ICs, i.e. it SN75ALS160 and SN75ALS162.  While I'm waiting for the part, I wish I can perform some tests.

  So here's the question: If the only devices exist on a GPIB bus is my test Board and a GPIB equipment, can I have the NAT9914 on my board test connected directly to the GPIB bus without using the transceivers?

  Hello

  These transceivers are absolutely necessary to communicate with GPIB instruments.  It's why they're in the hardware section of the manual 9914.  Transceivers will display correct tension/line transitions.  Without them, there will be errors in communication.

  Yesterday when I booted up my pc, I got an error and it started auto repair. Repair auto falied. My C drive is almost full so I used cmd and free space then did an update of the system. The update went well, but after that whenever I try to access the C drive it says: 'access denied '. Under the name it shows "NTFS". Given that windows 8 has been installed in C itself, now I can't open system tools. Not even the properties of the drive C. I tried 'icacls' and 'takeown' but in vain.   To use the option "with accounts" to share a drive connected to an AirPort base station, this drive MUST be formatted in HFS +. It will NOT work for disks formatted in FAT32, ExFAT, or NTFS.

  If you already have the drive formatted in HFS +, then you need create user accounts in order for users to access the shared drive. This is NOT the same as the user's Windows login account. When you use AirPort Utility to share this record with the accounts, you should have the opportunity to complete the list of accounts. You add individual user names and password and choose the level of access to this list. Did you do that?

  If so, then to access Windows 10, start the file Explorer. In the location field, type: \ < IP address of the base station >, then press < enter >.

  Now, you will be prompted for a user name and password. Enter a name of user and password combination you created earlier, and then click OK.
