connection to the interrupted NAS

At the office, those who work with the Mac (El Capitan) keep having this problem when they try to access and work with files that are located on the NAS.

First I thought it's because more people are trying to access the same file, but I'm assured this isn't the case.

The network connection for the file «...» "is interrupted, or the file is modified by a different process.

Would you be able to point me to the right direction?

Apple has never supported third party NAS devices. In short the NAS ONLY supported by Apple technology is their own Time Capsule devices.

My suggestion is to contact the developers of the SIN, however first check the version of Mac OS X installed is supported by the NAS server and then check the Macs that are running compatible versions of Mac OS X for the SIN application, you use. If you still have problems, contact the NAS developers to fix their software.

    Me too, I unfortunately have the same problem.

    Installed a replacement wifi router and lost access to a NAS. And it is the only element that would not be re - connect...

    It's the config probably simple setting of the wireless router with the IP Address of the NAS (10.1.10.199 if this is of any help), but it's clearly a mystery to find useful info on how and what to configure...

    Unfortunately, it was easier under XP...

    I have 2 network NAS. They are both a Bay D-Link ShareCenter 2. One is full of media I use for streaming and the other is used to keep backups of my computers and some software. Both of the NAS are configured in RAID mirror. They both worked fine when I got them almost a year ago, they are mapped to letters pilot Y and Z. 2 days when I logged my office a popup notification came to say.
    "cannot reconnect to all network drives, click here to check the status of your network drives."
    so I checked it status and he said they were offline. I restarted my computer and both the NAS, but it made no difference. Then I tried to disconnect the drives, but when I try to reconnect to them I get this error;
    "Windows cannot access \\192.168.0.32\Volume_1\Joe, check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there could be a problem with your network. In an attempt to identify and solve network problems, click on diagnose. »
    When I click to diagnose it is unable to find a default.
    The next thing I did was disable my Ethernet card and connect to my network with my WiFi adapter. Then I tried to re - map the NAS is connected via the wireless. When I started on the CD of Acronis support, I discovered that Acronis software could connect both the NAS on my desktop Ethernet. After restoring I still have the same problem.
    Now, there's 1 thing I noticed, my laptop can still connect to both WiFi and Ethernet NAS with all the problems. I also have an android phone, and who can connect both of the NAS via a WiFi connection.
    1 last thing you to know is I can always get to the configuration of the NAS so pages I visit it local address in a web browser. I also ran a factory reset both the NAS and then re-applied my own settings. This does not solve the problem, and more that turning March my routers.
    Please can someone help me solve this problem. I'm running a Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit operating system. If you need more information on my system spec or how I have my setup of home network please let me know.

    This problem has now been fixed.

    For some reason any my AVG firewall had defrosted on its own to block access to the features as well as to define its self to disable the file and printer sharing of files on the NAS share.
    So a small trick to my firewall and everything works as it should.

    I just bought Photoshop Touch for my Tablet Galaxy Note 8. I signed up for Creative Cloud by using an old I connect by an ereader, it still worked, just asked me for my date of birth.     During the capture of Premiere Pro CS5 with a new cassette containing an original recording, I get a "recorder Error" "Interruption of the connection to the device" of windows.     Not exactly what the real problem was, but I replace my old cable firewire with a Monster Cable, cable FireLink 300. Email support Adobe also recommended to turn off UAC and the firewall/antivirus. Collectively, the actions seem to have solved the problem I captured 6: 1 hour video with no problems.

    I've just updated my timecapsule 1 TB of first generation version 7.6.7 and my 3 TB timecapsule new version 7.7.7

    Well, since nobody seems to have an explanation, and Apple are not out with firmware update after 7.7.7 and 7.6.7 I decided to downgrade the firmware to the previous version. I now run version 7.7.3 on the new 3 Tb Time Capsule and 7.6.3 on the 1st Gen Time Capsule. So far, the network is stable. Using WiFi Explorer Ii see that they use channel 6 and 8 respectively. Signal is strong and no dropouts have taken place so far. Hope the issue is resolved in the next firmware update.

    As I read in another post: firmware update does not solve a problem, you didn't. However, it can create a problem that you didn't.

  • Interruption of the connection to the host ESXi 5.1

    I did some tests on one of our hosts in preparation for the essential moving to Essentials more when I noticed that most of the vmnic reported only 100 MB Full Duplex connection speeds.  We have a Dell R515 with 2 cards Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM 5709, all set to auto negotiate, so I thought I'd try and force one vmnic to communicate to 1000Mb Full Duplex.  This had quite disastrous consequences resulting in a lack of connectivity to the host.  VCentre host is reported as Disconncted and if I try to connect directly to the host I get a type error "unable to connect".

    Fortunately the virtual machine is still ongoing so I just need to get that host online.  SSH is turned off so I can't chew on the host, if I don't have physical access to it if necessary.

    The management network is running on vmnic8, which is embedded Broadcom BCM5716, while I just changed vmnic6 on one of the Broadcom BCM5709 map, then why I lose o management network connection, I'm a little confused, any help appreciated.

    Just follow the steps described in the section "setting the speed and duplex of the NIC in ESX/ESXi host at the service console.     I bought an iPhone 6 s it took 3 hours for Verizon connect my phone to my new Verizon account. The phone would display full service bars then, slide an or no service in bars. the phone was finally connected but may 2016 so far I sill experience the same problem of poor or no service call and dropped. Often the phone will not even scream or try to connect to the network.  Apple has replaced the phone 3 x but with no. change my service problems. Verizon and Apple senior level tech support spent to treat 30 + hours on the phone with me trying to solve this problem. We replaced the SIM cards without change. When I put the SIM card in my iPhone 6 it works fine. Full don't signal any calls interrupted and service when roaming. Back in the 6s and no service in the same place. Put the SIM card in the other Iphones not without problem.  If roaming is enabled, phone often it will not conbect to the tower at all. WiFi call is disabled and LTE voice data are on. I've disabled CDMA and data with little or no change with the problem. When iphone 6s loses the service and I toggle airport power phone it will display momentarily full service bars, then the bars one or not, while remaining connected to LTE. In some areas, I can receive calls but can not shout. Sometimes I can txt use data without showing on my plan as using FaceTime and can use the internet. The order indicated above of multiservices to no service happens within 10 seconds repeat throughout the day all areas companies Verizon towers and riaming towers. Verizon finally got the iPhone 6 s to work with full signal across remote I've ever had service, but continue to hamper the not being able to call in roaming. Shortly after that, the phone back to old habits after that they tried to solve the roaming problem.

    After 5 months of no stop calls to Verizon senior level tech supports on September 22, a high tech support tech senior level line finally came to the conclusion after 3 hours of troubleshooting determined it is a software problem Apple 100%. It determined that the phone for a month not was not connected totally to Verizon even if I used it. There to reset the SIM card and the network settings on the phone several times during this period to have the phone drop any connection after initial power that showed a full service then dropped the LTE then, he loses all the bars of service then shows no bar service then no service what so ever in 10 seconds. This was the problem with this phone on the first day.

    He explained that he has heard of what is happening and that Apple is currently working on a solution, but will not be out until possibly October 2016. He also said that this problen is happening now with new models Iphone 7.

    HE then stated that a specific sequence is usually not used must be used to reset the network settings by releasing the bug fix.

    How to restore your device
    1. First of all, back up your device using iTunes or iCloud so you don't lose any personal information.
    Note: If this is the first time that you have saved on iCloud, it may take time for several reasons (speed of Wi - Fi, amount of info on your device).
    2. Connect to iTunes to restore your device.
    3. Choose "Set Up as new".
    4. Make sure you that you connect to iCloud with your Apple ID so that only your contacts are re-added. Do not re - add photos, music or applications as they can be the source of your problem.
    5. Set up your email.
    6. Test for the next few days to determine if your problem has been resolved.
    7. Restore your backup from iTunes or iCloud.

    I have the same problem - it has taken far too much time out of my weekend to try to resolve this problem. In addition, the Apple support person I spoke on the phone was very condescending.

    I've read elsewhere that change the LTE cell Options > Data Only will not solve the problem. So far, this seems to have worked for me.

  • After update to Sierra, Mac does not connect to the ReadyNAS device

    I have two Macs at home - an iMac and a MacBook Pro.  I also have a ReadyNAS device, which acts as a time for both Machine.

    I've updated the iMac to macOS Sierra.  The upgrade went smoothly, no error reported.  However, once it was up, I found that the iMac has questions is authenticating with the ReadyNAS via AFP (and / or he would authenticate, then delete the connection) and also not able to connect to the service of Time Machine on the ReadyNAS device.

    To be sure it wasn't the ReadyNAS, I went to my MBP - it still works under OS X 10.11 and shows all the problems.  AFP shares are accessible without problem, and Time Machine works as expected.

    Has nothing changed with Time Machine or AFP protocols under macOS Sierra, which could cause this?

    The ReadyNAS is a ReadyNAS Pro 4, running 4.2.28. firmware, if it is useful.

    AFP is not used by Sierra. Try using SMB instead, if your NAS supports. Or contact the technical support of the manufacturer for assistance.

  • Problem connecting to the server after moving

    Hi, I keep getting the message "there is a problem connecting to the server"192.168.0.19"etc. This happened after I moved. New ISP, new router. I have an Airport Express and a NAS connected to it. Time Machine and Icloud on the NAS. I think that the NAS has this IP address before moving. There are now 192.168.10.176. Everything works, but I get the pop up frequently.

    I look at the accounts and start but nothing. I reboot safe mode does not remove the problem. So, what can I do?

    I'm on Yosemite with MBR.
