  The problem has been resolved. I called our local computer store and they took the remote control of my computer and decided that, in the window manager Audio Realtek, the 'speaker setup' DD was somehow got moved from "Stereo" 5.1 speakers"fix that solves the problem but I'm perplexed that a configuration setting incorrect speaker should block the function 'In Line' leaving all other sound effects works perfectly; However, he seems to have done the trick. If this is not the first instance of parameters change in Windows 7 on their own accord.

  There is a much more important reason to install sp3 ' to be more compatible with the newer programs.  If you have been online since August 2004 with Windows XP service pack 1 or more (when sp2 is released), the chances are high that your system is compromised (one of the reasons why he is "a bit slow").

  You might seriously consider a "clean install" of Windows with whatever you have and then recovery media immediately this update to sp3.  If you do this AND your recovery mechanism restores Norton or McAfee trial ware, after you make initial/reinstall recovery and before you install sp3, follow the advice of MS MVP PA Bear below:

  VERY IMPORTANT! => Any Norton or McAfee free trial which is preinstalled on the computer when you bought will be reinstalled (but invalid) when Windows is reinstalled.   Anyone had problems connecting camera Sony DSC-W650 to pc via the USB with Windows 7 OS?  Very frustrating.  Beautiful pictures, just can't get off the bloody camera em.  Chat with rep online, no help to Sony since.  Downloaded software (since the plug & play does not work) without help.  Tried multiple USB ports with the same results.  Device Manager indicates I need to troubleshoot the device (appears on device like DSC-W650 Manager so it must be to see something), but zero.  Currently re-download software (PlayMemories) but I'm not going to hold my breath.  Help!

  I have now 2 iMacs Office sitting side by side on my desk.  Since I want a keyboard with a numeric keypad on the right side, I found the only way to get that with an Apple keyboard with a USB connected keyboard.  Therefore, when I want to knit back and forth between macs, I have to unplug the keyboard of one and then plug it in another one - and back.  It would be a hassle to turn off mac whenever I need to do that, so I was wondering if it would damage a computer.  Two usb ports are usb powered external hubs.

  There is no problem with the device on a keyboard with the computer and plug in another.  It's only external drives that need to be removed before unplugging.

  Please try the possible fix following first thanks to Carey Frisch:

  1. open the BIOS of the motherboard.
  2. find where it says Priority Boot Device, then select CD/DVD-ROM 1, 2nd Hard Drive and disable all the rest.
  3 find somewhere in the BIOS where it says BOOT USB, Wake on USB, etc. and disable all unnecessary options.

  And second if it does not help, you can try the following with Blue Michael:

  Local Geek Squad had me intentionally set the BIOS to the correct order, then re-order and SAVE.
  It worked, even if the list of the BIOS was always in the right order.

I have reset the settings to factory default unplugged the router and turned off wifi Mac. I turned back on everything and put the wifi on the printer but nothing is not listed as being likely to be discovered.  ePrint works so its online and reports show its connected. How can I me he connect to the device again? It was working fine until the router has changed.

  I get the following error every time I try and start Asherons call on a new Dell Latitude E5510 laptop.

  • I have a fresh install of Win7 64 bit (entirely the window update)
  • The latest Intel HD - v8.15.10.2622 01/10/2012 graphic card driver.
  • A sweet DX 9 and DXDiag and 11 installation reports no errors.

  I lowered res video and depth of color, but without result.

  Digitized internet and found others with the issue but no resolution, I could see.

  Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

  In my project I want to display & connect the results/readings of different types of sensors (RTD, barometer, HR sensor, proximity sensor) with rs232 outputs in the Labview software.
  To do this, can I simply connect them to my computer using the usb-rs232 converter or do I need a data acquisition equipment to convert analog signals into digital signals?

  Sensors with outputs RS-232 already have the analog-digital conversion.  You just need the USB RS232 converter. Many people have reported on the Forums that converters with FTDI chips seem to have less problems than other materials.

  You should also the Protocol of communication with manufacturers of sensors to correctly set the parameters of the serial port and to decode the results.

  I'm sure that the printer you see so-called 'Network' would be wireless. Make the default and try a test print.  If this fails, try the other being default and do another test.  Once remove you the one that is active, right-click on the printer late heading and delete it.  Worst case if that happens again call short number above.
