Connectivity issues with hp deskjet 3070 wireless - works in wired, not wireless

Please can someone help me with this - I have installed the software very well on my mac, but as soon as I unplug the printer, it will not work wireless.

The report wireless seems to be perfect, but the printer persistently refuses to be connected wireless

Any help much appreciated.

OK, great.  It seems that the printer is connected to the airport, which is a good start.

Restart the airport by pulling on its power supply momentarily Plug and let it restart as a green light.

Reset the printing system:

-Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
-Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

    Hey Bela

Why don't you talk with your local dealer where you live. They can give you enough useful information how to manage this problem. If you wish, you can test connectivity with the latest PCMCIA WLAN cards. If there is no success you can send it back after a few days.

Nothing works... my friend connects with his laptop and I can connect with my smartphone, except my laptop! I have windows vista... Please help me thanks

Go to: Control Panel, Manager of Devic, adapters to extend your network, click with the right button on your wireless network and click on uninstall.

Do not put a check in the box: remove the software driver for this device.

Restart your computer and Windows will install your wireless network.

If the problem persists, see if your computer manufacturer has an updated driver.

  • WRT400N can no longer connect to with cat 5 or wireless.

I still have the same firmware for routers that the day that I bought it and the router is on my desk in a ventilated area do not overheating. I don't know what I can do to further diagnose the problem, I even tried resetting to the factory settings. Are there measures that someone here could recommend that I try to diagnose the problem or see if my router just died. Thanks in advance.

    Peter.

It is possible that you have a client device that is causing the problem.  You can close or disconnect each customer, then check your network for a period of time.  This could be your time if you have multiple devices, then I would say from PC that is more likely to be infected or unwanted software running.  Torrent software has been known to use IP connections more than some routers cannot handle, which causes connection issues.

What are the symptoms when you lose your connections? Error messages could be useful in addition to solving this problem.

  • Major issues with Satellite S70 - t wireless has

    Hello

I received a Satellite - S70t 31/10 and then had some problems wireless. From the start up my computer and began its activities on the internet, I suddenly noticed the sudden slow but also many problems such as the loss of packets and ping (which I had never experienced before) high.

After some tests, I came to the conclusion that it is either something wrong with the wireless adapter, or on the other hand is not compatible with my router. I had questions everytime I open the laptop and connect to the internet, where my reasoning.

I've updated the drivers for the wireless adapter, but it did not help.
    I am running a router Netcomm NB9wmaxxn.

I hope that it will be able to be resolved quickly.
    Thank you.

In my opinion you issue needs further investigation.
It isn't quite clear, if the Wlan problem is related to the network card wireless Wlan driver, Wlan router or maybe the combination of the Wlan router and module Wlan.

In my opinion, you should check if the same thing happens to connect the phone to another access point.
You should check the laptop with or without the power adapter connected.
Energy savings can affect the performance of Wlan.

You should check if the problem could be related to the intensity of the signal.
You should test the connection network wifi secure Wla also open Wifi (unsecured).

    Check also different standards of WLan 802.11 A B G N
Of course, this test depends on the Wlan module. In the case of the wifi card does not support the 802. 11A, you will not be able to verify this.

  • Issues with Dell desktop computer wireless and D-Link wireless network card. Only able to get wireless access by checking "Use Windows to configure my wireless network". This kind of file sharing impossible.

original title: can't see the computer on wireless internet!

I hope that's not too much detail, but I would like that the sequence of events to be clear...

I have a Dell desktop computer that's probably six or seven years now.  It did not come with a wireless card, so I bought a DLink router and combo card wireless, install both with the DLink software.  It works beautifully.

Later, we through my rep AT & T DSL, I got a Motorola modem/router with wireless capabilities.  I had plugged directly on my computer Dell desktop and moved to a Dell laptop DLink wireless receiver.  No problems.

The Dell laptop is dead and the DLink receiver has not been used for a long time.  Family of my daughter moved to our place, and I have connected his desktop computers and laptop to wireless internet, using the Windows Connection Wizard.  Still no problem.

I got a new ASUS laptop, I also linked using the Windows Wizard.  STILL no problem.

Now, here's the problem comes.  I moved the Dell desktop computer, connected the DLink wireless receiver to it and I am able to get wireless access ONLY when I go into the properties of PC, click the wireless networks tab and check the "use Windows to configure my wireless network" box.  Then I can connect correctly, but I don't see this computer on my wireless network.  Bad luck... because I want to be able to access share files.  When I try to connect using different assistants of Windows, I get a message to the effect that, if I used another software to connect to the program, I can't use the Windows Wizard.

So, what can I do to remove the original configuration of DLink completely and to connect to my wireless network using the wizards in Windows?  I uninstalled the software of DLink, but it seems to have no effect at all.

BTW, Dell desktop computer is running XP, office computer of my daughter is running VISTA, and two laptops are equipped with Windows 7.  I can see all the computers on the network with the exception of the original Dell desktop computer wireless.

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • Help with HP Deskjet 6500 wireless

My HP Deskjet 6500 worked perfectly over my wireless network until I turned off my SSID Broadcast. Now the printer SAYS it is connected to the wireless network, but I can't seem to print on it. The printer do not even appears as on the network.

There MUST be a way to configure it to connect to a wireless network witout SSID Broadcast turned on, because the person who cares about their wireless security would leave their broadcast of the SSID on all the time, right?

First of all, disabling the SSID broadcast is not a security measure.  Freeware from the Internet will be able to read again.  In addition, you determine, your printer will please everyone.

  • Hardware issues with HP Deskjet Ink Adv 2060 K110

    Nice day

Product name: HP Deskjet Ink Adv 2060 K110

    Windows 8

Once the printer is powered on, the thing inside that contains the ink cartridge moves once and "plant".

What happens usually when the printer is turned on is that 'door-ink cartridges' slides back twice. What happens is that after having slipped once (left to right), it goes back to the left and crashes as it struck something inside.

After losing, the 'ink cartridge support' would slip to the right side and it would be brand X in the printer indicating that something was wrong and that the unit would not be able to print.

Is what I can do to solve this problem or should I wear the device to the nearest store of HP and let the technician handle?

Any suggestions would really be welcome,

    Thank you

    Hey @Jhames,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are having a hardware problem with your all-in-one HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 machine. I would like to work with you to solve the 'transport' problems that you encounter. Because the transport is the thing that moves left and right inside the printer does not respond properly I will treat this matter as a cart or a Paper Jam.

You have all the flashing lights on the front panel of the printer not to mention that the (X)?

For now I will you perform the following steps. These steps will guide you through checking your paper path and to ensure that the carriage moves freely inside the product:

    Solution: Open the output tray

  • Connection issues with WPA on Windows XP Home SP3 Netbook

Finished just set up (after the failure of the HD) a Samsnung NC10 netbook.

While I am able to get it connected to my i'net connection using WPA2 - PSK, when I re - locate in my house of customers problems start to occur.

They have what appears to be an old Netgear wireless router, which is set up for WPA.

When the Netbook is trying to connect to the router, it seems to get stüch acquire an IP # (so I'm starting to think that it might be associated with DHCP).

Any ideas on what could be the cause of the problem and how to solve.   Or it'll just be a case of re - configure the router to use WPA2?

Set a static IP address does not help... If the adapter cannot get an IP address from the DHCP server on the router then (assuming that no hardware is broken) is not making a connection authenticated, so no matter you set IP.

If you have access to the router instead of your customer, temporarily disable any encryption of the Netgear router, remove any entry associated with this router in the list of preferred networks (as described above) and see if it will connect without encryption.

Which should reduce things a bit.

One thing that comes to mind is, particularly when the old wireless devices are involved, you may need to configure the encryption algorithm correct in addition to authentication wireless system.  In other words, if you select WPA, you also choose to use AES and TKIP (the former algorithm).  It's on the tab "Association" wireless network properties.

You should check the router to see what he uses before you configure the properties of the adapter.

This screenshot, WPA2 is used, which involves AES encryption: http://www.okcu.edu/technology/wireless/xpwifi-WirelessNetworkAssociation.jpg

This screenshot, WPA with TKIP is used: http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRG3JX7mOYrv7NwyGeN5BD7KxggPJXlI6u1t7jf2kh3YZSU76EXEA

Some routers that have been built as WPA2 introduced had a kind of quasi-WPA2, which has been implemented in the WPA with AES.  I would have thought that your card would automatically detect and use the algorithm correct when you set to use WPA - PSK, but maybe not.

  • 364 ink compatible with HP Deskjet 3070 XL?

I get conflicting as to information if the model 3070 (series B611) accepts the XL cartridges.

Documentation HP supplied with the printer (& the shop that comes of selling me the printer) it says "Yes compatible.

But when I opened the door I don't see enough space in the carousel of 4 ink cartridges to a larger size (black) cartridge.

The only reference I find online is:

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/document.jsp?objectID=c02435884&lang=en&cc=us&taskI...

    which implies also 'no '.

I just want to check I'm not missing something, and I would be grateful any definitive answer please.

As far as I know, I can't buy the 3070 in the States.

However, the 364XL 'must' fit. It will be nice and warm. The cartridge is not too much wider than the standard size.
