Connector MagSafe 2 no connection & heaters

I recently bought a replacement authentic (with connector MagSafe 2) 60W MagSafe power adapter for my MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end 2013) of Apple, after my original power supply frayed and is become a little dangerous.

I have the new adapter to power for a long time, but I was starting to have problems.

First of all, it takes about 5 or if the attempts of connection and disconnection of the latter before the light orange light / my Macbook will start loading. I Googled it and I tried to reset the system without result management controller.

It's embarrassing, but this isn't necessarily the main issue. The big problem is that the charge connector is getting very hot. Too hot to touch (and probably elsewhere Regulation!) after it is been connected for some time. In an attempt to stop this, I cleaned the connector and the port, but once more, it didn't stop him.

If you have solutions, I'd love to hear and thanks in advance!

I have a system mounted on a box aluminuim, which owns the land on the Earth, and also the supply, which is used to power the sbrio gives voltage isolated, but now if the negative terminal of the J3 connector has an internal connection with the holes and the spade of Earth, how can I use my isolated power supply with the negative terminal is not connected to the ground its main power supply the connection output not the soil Earth domain controller.

    Hi Freemason.

I think I just you send an email in this regard, but to confirm, Yes, connector J3 is connected to earth ground in-house. You should still be able to use your power for the sbRIO.

  • iPod classic connects to the computer

    Hello

I have an iPod classic, since 2005.

It will charge from the grid, but when you plug it into the computer it does nothing... Does not make a noise, does not load... Nothing, only thing that happens is that when you disconnect the computer screen lights illuminates... tried all USB ports, still is not, tried 3 computers, does not work on any...

so I tried 2 more iPods, an iPod classic in 2004 and it worked fine. Tried an iPod nano of 2007 once again absolutely worked well...

really annoying me now that I want to sync music on the classic...

tried resetting the iPod, tried to run in the other mode keeping the home button and menu, press the button home-and play... None of them worked either

    Jake

When you "recharge sector" (which I assume means an adapter of any), are you using the docking cable that you use with the computer?  When you connect iPod from 2004 and 2007 iPod nano to the computer, you use the same USB docking cable used with the iPod in 2005?

Is the power supply adapter ("hands") accomplice of old load powering FireWire supported, not USB load?  Accessories older load use FireWire instead of USB charging, which has a different voltage and uses different "pins" on the dock connector.  An iPod from 2005 (probably a 5th generation "video" iPod) to connect to the computer via a USB port, but it can recharge using the USB or FireWire power.

If you can confirm that the port host USB cable to connect the iPod in 2005 is good, my guess is that the 2005 iPod dock connector will not properly connect to USB power.  It can be worn or damaged.  Therefore, it does not connect to the USB port on the computer.  However, it always connects to FireWire, so she received the adapter (which feeds the FireWire).

Use a flashlight to look inside the iPod dock connector, to visually check for damage, corrosion, dust or debris.

    Hello Dan,.
Are you sure that this connector on the bottom is for food?

It s better to open Notepad and do a little welding work on the conn of power.
Hot glue afterwards to make sure that the connector is well fixed.
BTW: check the radiator and do some cleanup would be good.

Frequently, you can't stack the adoptive parent as you did. Looks like you have a displayport adapter to HDMI adopter, not a HDMI / displayport adopter.

  • Problem connecting SQL toolkit Win7

I use CVI 2013 and tto toolkit (2.2) of SQL to connect to a mySQL database.  I can connect to properly using my development computer, but not with the target.  Both computers are running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional (SP1).  I used to start the 64-bit ODBC drivers (mysql-connector-odbc - 5.3.2 - win64.msi) on both machines.  After I got hurt, I found an article in the Knowledge Base which indicated that I should probably use the 32-bit instead.  So I deleted the drivers of the target and installed those 32-bit using odbcad32.exe found in Windows/SysWOW64.  No change.

I use the sample browser2.prj project included with the SQL Toolkit (default: C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\CVI\samples\sql\apps) to test the functionality of the SQL tool.  I create a distribution kit, including the runtime shared on the development computer and install it on the target.  I traced the problem to the call of DBSources() - it returns a - 100 (who, the hand is not among the list of database error codes).

On both machines the ODBC drivers seem to work.  I can get to the database using Panel-> administration-> Data Sources (ODBC) tools.  Select the user DSN or system DSN database, and then click Configure open the MySQL Connector/ODBC Data Source Connection window.  By clicking Test in this window will connect to the database.

If the problem seems to lie in the way that ICB connects to the database.  I'm naïve now, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if this is a stupid question:

Have you followed the instructions help-> Reference Library-> library Toolkit SQL-> SQL language reference-> distributing a SQL Toolkit executable or a DLL?

Or is it a mistake you get despite following these instructions?

  • Wiring of connectors in LabVIEW 2011 problems

I've just been 'bitten again"by a wiring problem with a connector for a VI in LabVIEW 2011 (I've not seen this behavior in any previous version of LabVIEW to 7.0).

The question is this.  I (or one of my colleagues, who also noted it), run LabVIEW 2011 (August 2011 release), 32 - bit, Windows 7, 64-bit systems.  I have create a VI using the usual 4-2-2-4 connector of mires and connect the appropriate connector.  I save the VI, then drop it on a block diagram to use.

In another variation of this problem, the VI has fallen don't watch any connector or, if used to 'replace' an existing wired in VI with the same model of connector, "break" all the sons (because it has no connector when dropped on the diagram).  Reopen and reconsider the VI show that, indeed, the connectors are wired, but when I use the VI, the connector wiring is absent (the VI dropped watch without connectors).

In the second variant, all right, the connectors appear as expected.  But I then decide to move a connector.  I have open the VI to edit, make a cut of this Terminal and rewire to its new location.  The connector pane presents the new model.  But when I drop the VI on a block diagram, the connector is in its original location.

Restart LabVIEW, indeed restart the PC, does not change.  The only way to 'fix' this is to disconnect all terminals and a reconnect them.  A nuisance, to say the least, but also an obvious bug.

Has anyone else seen elsewhere?  I sent to OR, but it would be useful to know 'is it just me?' or not.  In my defense, I've seen this problem on several computers, all win 7/LabVIEW 2011.  I've also seen this with several LabVIEW projects.

I've attached a file with such a VI "buggy".  When you open it, you will see that the 'Length' indicator is wired to the top of the connector set page.  When I drop this VI on a new VI, however, the connector indicates coming out from the bottom!

    BS

I was told by an engineer NOR that this problem (a) is real and (b) has been fixed in SP1 release (spring) 2011 LabVIEW.  I have not had a chance to check this point, but (the trusting soul that I am), I consider that this problem has been a "Bug in LabVIEW 2011 that has been fixed in the SP1 Release"and therefore, I am prepared to mark this "resolved".

  • What type of connectors are used with MXI-4 cables?

I have two MXI-4 cards (PXI-8331). One in each of the two PXI chassis I have in the lab

I also three MXI - 4 A-03 190957 of copper and wish to connect the cables together using connectors (preferably two mini DB9 GEF/DB9 Fem sex changing connectors or something simular)

Once again the objective, in the first PXI to have a PXI-8331 that connects to a MXI-4 cable that connects to a mini connector GEF DB9 which connects second MXI-4 cable that connects then on the second mini connector DB9 GEF that will link now to the third MXI-4 cable that will connect to the second PXI-8331 in the second PXI.

Once again a long series between the two PXI-8331 locations using three cables. If these two DB9 connectors cannot be used what should I advise you?

Resolved, I called OR support and told me that the idea of "bulkhead connector" the mine would not work. The freq high through the Fibre Channel cable would cause conflicts with connections DB9 Fem/Fem, I planned to use.

Solution, find two MXI-4 cable where one end was sex male, the other female. Then use the third (male on both ends) cable to connect the two. NEITHER does not have these MXI-4 FC cables (DB9 M/DB9 F) but I found them elsewhere.

    Thanks for the help...
