  I just changed my host and the server settings etc in my account settings for my e mail account. All my old messages disappeared. I guess it's 'normal' when you change the host, but I can still find the emails when I search a specific e-mail address.   If you want to keep messages never change the details or the settings of an older account. Always set up a new account.

  Use of IMAP account, then the messages are stored on the server, so when the service is no longer available to you, the messages on the server will become also unavailable.

  Thunderbird manages a summary of messages. This is probably what will appear in the search. This does not mean that the messages themselves are stored anywhere useful.

  Hi, I use a BB Storm 9530 with Verizon, OS 4.7.0.148, App World v1.1.0.23, (personal) BIS and BES (working).

  I had installed a third-party application (QuickPull Free) via AppWorld, then I started having problems with it so I decided to uninstall it and then reinstall it.  I deleted the application by selecting its icon, and then pressing Menu-DELETE (i.e., I deleted it WITHOUT using AppWorld). Now I try to reinstall it. When I go to AppWorld and My World, he appears as installed. When I select, I get the loading... message with the green bar, but nothing happens.  Help!  How can I get AppWorld to know that it's been deleted?

  Oh, wait... I think that I've missed something in your original post you highlight the icon and fact BBKey > delete? As in, the icon that you would normally used to run PS? If so, it is not always a surefire way to remove an application from a BB. See this KB:

  As the KB discusses, you should check using method 1 if you do with method 2 (which I think you did)... I bet that the app still shows as installed (using method 1).

  1. reboot the System.Make sure that WMP is closed.

  2. in the start search box type:services.msc and press the enter key.

  3. go to Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service and double click on the service and click stop.

  4. again go to the search box, and then type: type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft and press the enter key.

  5 remove the Media Player folder. (This is a hidden folder, so you must set the Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.

  Problem has been resolved by downloading a new version of the Comcast toolbar. They use to automatically update this bar tools, but for some reason stopped mines updated. But problem is now solved by this new version, the toolbar is now visible on the screen.

  1st solution of Tim De Baets:

  "You probably need to reset the library to get rid of the files in the library. Note firstly reset the library will make you lose all play counts and ratings too. Then, follow these steps:

  -Restart the PC.
  -Click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service . If its status is started , double-click the service, and then click stop .
  -Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.
  -In this folder, rename the folder Media Player as Old Media Player . If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
  -Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. »
