Contacts do not sync with iCloud

Suddenly, my contacts are not synchronized with iCloud. I tried turning off sync and on (power off iphone) and between the two institutions, but no luck. Now, I have no contacts. Calendars sync correctly. Help, please!

IPhone 6 with the latest version of the software

You did great on that. You can check your contacts using the web mail icloud.com if it is there. If the contacts are not there you might have save it to your other email address

  • iCloud Contacts do not sync with the iPad

I put the new coordinates in my Contacts on my MacBook.

It syncs with my iCloud account.

But it is not sync with my iPad.

On my iPad app, "all the iCloud" is checked.

On my iPad, in the Mail, Contacts, calendars section, the scanning of Contacts button is on.

On my iPad in my iCloud parameters, the scanning of Contacts button is on.

I guess there is something simple I'm missing but I checked everything I can imagine.

    Anyone with ideas?
    Thank you very much.

If you are sure that everything is configured correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try to uncheck syncing contact in iCloud settings, reboot your device and then by reactivating contact synchronization.

  • Contacts do not sync with iPhone

    Hi-

I have recently updated to Snow Leopard to El Capitan (five operating systems in a jump!  Yikes!).  Little by little, I'm working on the kinks...  And here's one:

When I change an element in a field on a contact in the Contacts, the change appears (if any) on the web at https://www.icloud.com/#contacts, but it does not appear on my iPhone (5 c; iOS 9.2.1) even a week later.

    On my iPhone:

    Settings-> iCloud-> Contacts-> in the

Settings-> Contacts-> [I don't see anything that could relate to this problem.]

On my MacBook Pro (mid-2009; 10.11.3 MacOS):

Sync with iTunes 12.3.2.35 works but does not solve this problem.

iTunes-> my iPhone-> settings (left panel)-> info-> Contacts Sync says:

Your contacts are being synchronized with your iPhone on the airwaves to iCloud.

On-line synchronization settings can be changed on your iPhone.

I would like your suggestions for this research problem.

It's working now.  I fiddled with the settings using http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html as a guide.  The thing that did it, I was, on my iPhone, I got to settings-> Mail, Contacts, calendars-> GMail-> Contacts-> IT.  I turned it off.  I think that's what I did.   In a few minutes, I had duplicate for each contact entries on my iPhone.  For contacts that I had changed on my MacBook Pro, an entry was old, a new.

Back on my Mac, I selectedContacts-> map-> Look for duplicates... It found 930 duplicates.  I chose to merge, then manually modified entries recently modified to remove outdated information.  In a few minutes, the Contacts on my iPhone fell in line.  Now, everything's fine.

  • Contacts do not sync with Outlook after updating IOS 9.2.1

    After updating IOS 9.2.1 on my iPhone 6 and iPad, my Outlook on my PC does not synchronize my contacts or calendar, more.  As a matter of fact, they have completely disappeared from the PC.  The message I get is;

"Failed to open all the files.  The information store could not be opened. »

I checked my settings iCloud and sync settings are correct.  Contacts and the calendat on two Apple devices are very well and in order, but it seems that my Windows 10 - Outlook 2010, PC does not connect with the iCloud.

Any suggestions?  I have re-installed iCloud to ensure that the software is 'repaired', restarted the PC, but no change... :-(

    Help, please!

I had this problem when I upgraded to the office 2016.  Mine was cured by signing on iCloud and let it remove all files etc. on your PC, and then reconnect.

Now I can sync ok with my ipad, iphone and outlook 2016

  • Notes on Mac, do not sync with icloud

Very well.  I followed all of the suggestions.  Notes deleted, signed icloud on iphone, ipad and mac.  signed on all devices.  Checked to make sure that I use the same name on all devices.  Been working on it and Google search for answers about a week now?    When I write a note on my Mac Notes, they do not and does not display on Icloud.com 'notes' and vice versa, when I write a note on Icloud.com "note" that they do not appear on my Mac notes?

I use 10.10.5 on Mac OS and OS 9.3.2 on Iphone?

You may have upgraded to the new features of Notes on the iPhone. If you did, they used to sync with a Mac that has not been upgraded to El Capitan. See the following topics:

  • Contacts will not sync via iCloud - once again!

I get are leaning on the previous, mostly by now quite old, posts on this topic, but have not found answers that helped me.

I have an iPhone 5s and a Mac mini with Mountain Lion (10.8.5). I have Contacts selected in iCloud on both devices, but the Contacts now does not synchronize anyway.

I looked in iCloud.com. My contacts are there, but they are as they appear on my iPhone and they were on my Mac, a few days ago, not as they appear now on my Mac after some additions and changes.

    What can I do?

On the iPhone, tap settings > iCloud > Contacts.

Disable the Contacts then turn it back on.

On Mac, open System Preferences > iCloud. Clear the Contacts check box, and then reselect it.

Give a few minutes of re iCloud synchronize data.

  • 10 PC window, do not sync with ICloud

Hi, I run a Windows PC with the ICloud App 10. We have an IPad and an IPhone that are synchronizing on ICloud Server very well.  The ICloud server is downloading the pictures to my download ICloud on my PC folder.

But if I delete a photo from my PC folder, it does not synchronize back and vice versa, deleting photos on the server does nothing on the PC, but it does for the phone and the skate.

All thought next to obtaining an Apple PC.

I went so all settings, almost everything is turned on.

    Thank you; AcGolfer

I can confirm the same thing here.  If I delete something on the cloud it will remove my phone but not the ICloud folder my Windows PC 10. I don't see no setting to change this behavior.  -bob

  • Contacts do not sync with facebook

I tried 'update all Contacts' and the search bar doesn't move no and says '0 Contacts updated' immediately.  I know that there are contacts that I just added are connected to facebook and on my other devices.  Twitter seemed to update correctly.  It's an Iphone versus 6 with latest updates.  Did a reset of all settings too.

    Greetings Mongo Lloyd's,

I see that you are trying to update your contacts with your Facebook contacts, to see their photos appear, and contacts are related to your phone contacts. It is a very interesting possibility. I have a resource that will help with this:

Connect to social networks like Facebook and Twitter on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support

Specifically, there is an article that refers to the update your contacts with photos and names of users of social media:

Update your contacts with photos and names of users of social media

If the following is true, you can update your contacts with user names and profile pictures from Facebook, Sina Weibo and Twitter:

-You have saved for your contacts email addresses in the app.* Contacts *.
-Your contacts share their email addresses on their social media better *.

Follow these steps to update your contacts:

    1. tap on settings.
    2. scroll down and tap the social network you want to use.
    3. tap Contacts updated.

    * The Contacts application matches the email address of your contact with the corresponding address on social media. If you have not registered an email address in the Contacts application, or if they do not share an e-mail address on their profile of social media, this contact will be not updated on your device.

    See you soon!

  • contacts in messages app DISAPPEAR (do not sync to icloud?)

I noticed recently that the contacts that I create in the iMessage on my iphone application (by going to the conversation > Details > (phone number) info > create a new contact) is not sync to iCloud or whatever it is. I have no idea where these contacts will because that's where it gets weird.

If I ever want to text one of these contacts, I just start a new conversation in the iMessage application, type their name and their contact appear

But if I wanted to call, if I went to the phone application and typed in their name nothing would leap upward. If I went to the app contacts one typed their name in anything would jump upward. There is literally no trace of the any of these contacts outside of the messages on my iphone app.

    Help!

My iMessage is connected to my iCloud

You synchronize your contacts with other services, e-mail or cloud service? If you open Contacts on your device, if you look in the upper left corner, does show all Contacts, or are they showing? It is possible that your contacts are stored in a different location, if you look at any of your e-mail accounts, they turned on Contacts?

  • Still not get 2016 Outlook and Contacts calendar to synchronize with iCloud. iCloud data file has not been in Outlook but iCloud add-in is enabled.

I use Windows 10 (v1511), 2016 Outlook Office 365 and iCloud 5.2. Mail is downloaded directly to Google mail Outlook. Calendar and Contacts live in iCloud and work properly in my iPhone, iPad and the app iCloud on the PC. Its just perspective that is not sync with iCloud to get these items.

In outlook, the Setup program is not set up a data iCloud file ' * APLZOD.pst ' in the account tab data file settings. When you try to install a new data file in Outlook in account settings, the iCloud type available, but when you select what the error message says that this cannot be set in the iCloud Control Panel

I tried several complete removal and then re - installs to iCloud for windows and have also done with the firewall and antivirus disabled active.

I also deleted the Outlook data file * *.ost and allowed the installation program rebuild this application fee.

The iCloud "add to" Outlook "add-ins" is active.

The calendar, Contacts and tasks of the iCloud Panel section is checked when re-built, but after Outlook is running this section has not been verified and when you try to check it out and apply the change he UN-checks itself.

Sorry for the long post, but I tried to solve this problem for some time.

    Thank you

The same problem.  I use iCloud for Windows 5.2 and Windows 10, 2016 office.   Everything worked well for several months until a few months ago, when sync calendar has stopped working.   I've updated iCloud of 5.1 to 5.2 but that just killed altogether.  Tried uninstalling icloud and relocation costs.  No luck.  When the iCloud settings appears, I check the box for the calendar and Contacts.  The driver then disappears.   I check again and it sticks.  But no messages on 'configure '.   When I close and reopen, the box is unchecked.   A few days ago I had the same problems the other another thread where he would show "set up" spinning forever (well, 30 minutes before giving up).   Not sure if it's an Apple problem or a problem of office.  But this is of course a problem.
