content from iTunes to iPhone

Is there a way to download music content to iTunes with your iphone without having to sign up for the Apple's music?

If I am on the track and have my MacBook, so how do you get using my iphone?

Go to the iTunes Store and purchase/download the music on your phone. That will not, however, of your current library.

  • restoring backup from itunes again iPhone 6s)

    Hi-

Just got my new iPhone 6s via mail and you want to restore my old s phone backup.  Connect the phone to iTunes you are prompted and receive a message from iTunes I need a newer version updated.  My version is 12.2.2 and when I click on update, I get a message that it is the most recent version.

Someone knows how to fix this?  I have an iMac OS X 10.7.5.

Is it because my Mac is the old operating system?

    Yes, you are quite right.

The latest version of iTunes is 12.3.2.  Running it requires at least OS X 10.8.5.  (Current is OS X 10.11.3.)

Consider keeping your Mac today if possible.

  • Import all pictures (including photos from iTunes backup) iPhone to mac

    Hello!

I need support, o rather, I think I'm going crazy and I need help to make sure that I'm not.

My phones film like 500 pictures. If I connect it to my Mac start pictures / Lightroom / Whatever and do an import. only 150 of them are imported.

150 photos that appears in the import dialog are pictures that I took with my current phone. The other 350 pictures are pictures that I took with my old phone that I restored to my new phone. It's only a coincidence, right? Because otherwise I'm going crazy. The world is strange and Apple is complete and total crazy devoid of logic and intelligence. I really want this to be the case.

Because WHAT person would come with the idea that you should not be able to import a photo currently in your camera roll because it was earlier in a backup?

A photo is a photo and image file is an image file, the data are given. At least he was until now, and that's why I'm going crazy. With this new logic Apple Photo is not data, but some random symbolic link to something that does not exist and the user cannot download on his computer.

Is this the case? Please, that's not for

If this is the case, Apple devs are devoid of logical reasoning.

How 'recover' my real files in iTunes from my old file backup and integrate these image files physical in my iPhone so photos they are treated like actual in my camera photos so that I will be able to import them into any other Photo?

    Thank you

Connect the iPhone to your Mac.

Open Picture Capture on your Mac and import photos and remove them from your iPhone.

  • How to extract deleted the file from itunes backup iPhone photos

I bought an iPhone 16G 6 s two months ago and the storage is in short lately. So I deleted a large number of items than the iPhone, especially for photos and videos. But now, I realized there were 3 important photos deleted by mistake. Luckliy, I backed up the device with iTunes. I know that iTunes is the official way to restore an iPhone. In my case, I only need to restore these 3 photos, there is no need to restore the whole itunes backup. How can I retrieve pictures only from the backup file?

You can't isolate only the photos in the backup file

You will need to do a restore - fix these pictures and re delete others

  • could not transfer music from itunes to iphone ringtones

I downloaded a song - ring went to my iTunes music.  The length was 30 seconds and I changed the extension to M4R and I stocked up on my desk.  However, whenever I click and drag it to my iPhone tones, nothing happens.  I have Windows 10

It must be that the ringtones in less than 40 seconds, in AAC format (normally represented by .m4a) with a .m4r file extension. Drop the .m4r file into / automatically add to iTunes. If the file is a valid ringtone, it is worth adding to the tones of the library section. If iTunes rejects it then it should move to a folder not added automatically add to iTunes folder. No case, then iTunes can still be regarded as ordinary music.

  • transfer playlist from itunes 12.4.3.1 on iphone?

I recently updated from the old to the new itunes.  before, to transfer songs/playlist from itunes to my iphone, I would create a playlist in itunes with the songs I wanted on my iphone, and then drag and drop said playlist to the device/iphone section on the left side.  the peripheral section flashing once, and the playlist/songs have been transferred successfully.

I do something wrong, because when I do drag the selection to the peripheral area, it has a + sign and in my experience, this means a suitable place to fall while "Drag and Drop", but when I release, nothing happens.

It is also unlikely that it is the wrong way to do it, as it's too simple and logical that this is not an option to transfer a playlist.

    can anyone help?

    Hello chrismcclain077,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how it is important to be able to manage your music and I want to help you get your playlists sync as expected.

The way you described adding your playlists by drag-and - drop them uses a parameter called "manually manage music and videos". Because you have updated recently, this setting may have been reset to its default value.

When you connect your phone to the computer and open iTunes, click on your phone icon to display the summary page. To the bottom of the page (you may need to scroll down), there is a check box for this setting. Make sure the box is checked and try to re-sync. If it isn't already, try activating / deactivating it off and then turn it back on.

  • Music library has for many CD tunes not purchased from iTunes store.  How to sync them with my iPhone?

  • Loading the content of the old iPhone to new iPhone

I was very disappointed when I tried to load the content from my old iPhone in my iPhone via iTunes. I received an error message saying something to the effect that my iPhone backup file was too old or obsolete. I had everything backed up my old iPhone an hour before. It would have saved me a lot of time if I could use this backup for my new iPhone. Very disappointing to have it loaded as a new iPhone (containing only the Apple iPhone applications.)

Are you sure that you don't have a message indicating that the new phone could not use the old backup because the old backup contained a new version of the iOS the new phone has on it? You cannot restore a backup from a device running a newer iOS on a device with an older version of iOS on it. In this scenario, you must update the new phone to the latest version before you can use this backup.

  • How to stop applications to sync on my iPhone when I sync my music from iTunes on my Mac to my iPhone?

How can I stop all applications that are in my iTunes to sync on my iPhone while I'm syncing my music from my iTunes on my Mac to my iPhone? He doesn't have a checkbox in the Apps section for not having ALL these apps to go back on my iPhone. Help! Now should I remove each app individually out of my iPhone?

    Hi there deg20,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! Looks like all the applications listed in iTunes to sync your iPhone while you move your music. I can understand wanting to be able to customize the content that is on your device. I'll be more than happy to help!

From what you describe, appears it option "automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" to be enabled. To activate which turns off, select the Summary tab and uncheck the box next to this feature. Once you have done this, you should be able to navigate between sections of content / media specific to choose what you want to synchronize with your device. After you apply these changes, it should appear on your iPhone. See the following article for advice on the content of sync on your iPhone:

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

You should also ensure that you have enabled the option to manually manage content, as described in this article:

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

If you don't manually add or remove content from your device

Check the option "Manually manage music and videos" is turned on:

    1. Connect your device to your computer.
    2. Open iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version.
    3. Locate and click on your device.
    4. In the left sidebar, click summary.
    5. Scroll down to the Options section.
    6. Check the "Manually manage music and videos."
    7. Click on apply.

You might see a message that your device is synchronized with another library. This means that you used another computer to sync your device in the past, and iTunes cannot sync without erasing first and replace everything iTunes on your device.

    Relax your day fantastic!

  • Should I set up my iphone as new on itunes or restore information from my old iphone?

    Hello

I got the iphone 4 that have been saved in my itunes on my PC.

    I tunes has songs inside.

Now I have a new iphone - iphone 6 for a few months now, and I have pictures, contacts, messages, etc. in it.

I want to download music on my phone - so I plugged into my PC.

ITunes asked me if I want to set it up as a new iphone or restore all information since the last backup that was made (the backup was made with my old iphone)

If I chose the backup - I'm afraid it will delete everything on my iphone and will download only the information from my old iphone (I have new contacts. photos etc..).

and if I put in place like new - I'm afraid it will delete everything on my phone or remove my itunes (including all the songs I want)

    What should I do?

    Thank you!

If you "set up as new" this does not erase the content currently on the iPhone. It's more a set upward for iTunes can communicate with your iPhone. It is really "set up" a return for your iPhone and iTunes connect with your phone.

In this way, you can add music and everything you want on your iPhone. You will not lose anything in iTunes.

You can always open iPhoto/Photos and transfer your photos first if you are concerned, or enable iCloud create a backup.
