Context menu is displayed everywhere

My granddaughter (10) wanted to 'save' something. Then she downloaded a recorder PC (no logon attempt).  It has been removed from my computer.  Context menus appear now no matter where you click, so clicked normally.

Slap the mouse can get rid of the popup usually.  It took eight slapping just started this question. This happens in Firefox and Safari.  I bought a new mouse, the same story.  I tried to unplug the unit had several.  I ran VirusBarrier, no change.  How can I get rid of the pop-up menus?

Transfer the backup Mac HD on the desktop work?

sounds like something that could be related to system-> accessibility preferences have you checked here under the keyboard or mouse if some sticky keys is the culpit?

    You already have a userChrome.css file to change the user interface of Firefox? It is the only other method that comes to mind to hide a menu item. You can find such a file in this way:

    Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

    In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

    Look for a folder named chrome , and if you find it, click on inside.

    Any userChrome.css file here? If so, you can open in a text editor and view its contents to see if it looks familiar.

    Or maybe your program files have been damaged in the upgrade. This happens from time to time, with unpredictable results. To remedy this situation, I would suggest:

    Clean reinstall it

    We use this name, but it isn't about deleting your settings, this is to ensure that the program, files are clean (no incompatible or exotic code files). As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.

    (1) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 38.0.5 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

    (2) close Firefox (if applicable).

    (3) to rename the program folder:

    (Windows 64-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox

    (Windows 32-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files\OldFirefox

    (4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

    You can get reinstalled Firefox?

    Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

    • \OldFirefox\Plugins

    For the last day or two, I was unable to open a bookmark in a new tab by right-clicking and selecting open in a new tab. All appropriate options appear on the menu, but everything on the menu is grayed out and unavailable. This applies only to my favorites. • touch event on 9800 is implementation of the context menu

    Hello

    The context menu is displayed when I touch certain fields in my application. I am unable to determine why this context menu appears. It's the same context menu that appears when you normally hold a key event. However, in this case the pop-up menu appears even when it's a key event "click on" short.

    What happens on a ButtonField on my main screen. Also, it happens with two ButtonFields and an ObjectListField on a secondary screen. There are other fields both of these screens, but it doesn't happen with these other areas.

    Any ideas on what could be the cause?

    Thank you

    Hi arkadyz,

    After looking in the menus pop up, I inserted this line in my screen builders, and it seemed to solve the problem.

    setContextMenuProvider (new DefaultContextMenuProvider());

    I guess all that the BB was building the pop-up menu it was that I wanted to. In order to become a call to DefaultContextMenuProvider seems to clarify this point.

    Thank you

  • Context menu prevent from appearing when you click on?

    I get the context? menu (the one with the full Menu and options Show/Hide keyboard) when I press (touch screen) or click on a field in a listechamps.  I don't know why.

    I extended ListField as follows:

    public class TableField extends ListField {
        TableFieldCallback callback;
        public void setTableCallback(TableFieldCallback callback) {
            this.callback = callback;
        }
        protected boolean trackwheelClick(int status,int time) {
            App.DEBUG("CLICK START " + time);
            if (null != callback) callback.onclick(this.getSelectedIndex());
            App.DEBUG("CLICK CONSUMED");
            return true;
        }
    }

    The domain manager that contains this field implements TableFieldCallback and sets the callback object.

    The scope of the list does not contain child field, rather than the 'data' are set for each field.

    I press list (click on) a field (line) in the field and trackwheeClick() is called calls my onclick() method in my object and is processed (it loads another opinion), but the context menu is displayed, even if I returned true from trackwheelClick() of signs that I have consumed the event.

    This behavior is unacceptable, I need a way to be able to disable the context menu when you click on the field ofc.

    Note: the full menu appears sometimes, but I guess that's because I also accidentally click / tap the full menu option in the context menu that... maybe its because the context menu Gets the event of publication in the press / click don't know.

    Hey to return true on nothandled touch clear also

    and for the contact not returning true not managed navigationClick should do the job.

  • Context menu disappears

    Hello community,

    We have an application adf with a table with lots of data. To improve the operation of the table, we have implemented a context menu. If I right click on a row in the table, the context menu is displayed and I can choose a menu entry.

    But...

    There is another scenario:

    I right click to get the context menu. Then I see: Oops, it of the wrong line and right-click again on another line. The shortcut menu disappears (which is good) but does not come back again on any other right click. After reloading the page, I can again call the context menu.

    This seems to be a bug for me but there may be something else wrong with my application?

    I build a small test case (using 12.1.3 as I do not have a 11.1.2.4 version available) and it works OK. The only change I did was to put the autoCancel = "valid" ifor the popup. This gives you better feedback to the user interface. If you set this value to false, you must click twice to get the context menu on the second row (once to close the old, once to get a new).

  • Context menu show on specific point click

    Hi all

    I see an extension HTML for InDesign CC 2014 for Win and Mac. I managed to display a popup using CEPInterface 5.2

    Here's the code,

    function CreateContextMenu() {

      csInterface.setContextMenu(contextMenuXML, contextMenuClickedHandler);

    }

    This function is called when the user clicks inside a box. The problem I am facing is that once I put the context menu, no matter where I right click on the inside of the Panel, the context menu is created. Can I put it so that the context menu is displayed only when I click on the box?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    I don't know if it would work, but how about a listener 'click' on the body with Event.stopPropagation () or preventDefault() element; Then check the target of the event, and if this is the item you want, then yourElement.dispatchEvent (new Event ('click'))?

    See references here: creation and raising events - the Web Developer's guide | DND and Event.stopPropagation () - Web APIs | DND

    Just a suggestion, let me know if that helps

  • Change the data displayed through the context menu

    I have a long list of data which must be reduced. Is there a formula/function that will change the data as determined by a context menu? For example:

    If I had to choose 'Brown' in the menu dropdown only entries whose hair is brown above, would be displayed (IE. Bilbo and Gimli); all others are hidden/not shown. To complicate matters, I have data in two different columns that I need to refine the list by: in this case, the color of their hair, or the number of letters of their first name.

    Using numbers 3.6.1 in El Capitan. Thanks in advance for your help.

    If you restrict the list of several columns have considered using filters (in the Panel on the right after clicking on "Sort and filter" in the toolbar)?  You can add rules on more than one column at a time.

  • Is it possible to edit Firefox context menu to the standard address for the displayed Web pages?

    Is it possible to edit Firefox context menu to the standard address for the displayed Web pages? Often, I want to save an image on a page. Sometimes I "slip" and press "Send Image" when I want to "Save Image under" and sit and wait for the default page - send an email to come, then shut up, juggling its dialog boxes "are you sure". It is a way of trying to manage a blunder. Basically I want an element directly from a page by email. Is it possible that I can simply remove "Send Image" from the context menu?

    It is possible with the Menu Editor extension:

    Thanks for you answers.

    I tried to have the timer also option to wait for a while before taking screenshot didn't work.

    Then I tried after option, it worked. I've added a call to repaint before taking a screenshot. Is this a good method to do?

    // Added this line before taking screenshot UiApplication.getUiApplication().repaint();
    Display.screenshot(bitmap,0,0,Display.getWidth(),Display.getHeight());

    I'll also explore the options mentioned by you.

  • Prevent the display to touch the menu context (context menu) and maintenance

    I want to keep the display on touch & hold on the menu context (context menu) contact (no SurePress) devices.

    Currently, I am of the override of the touchEvent() method and consume in the case of TouchGesture.HOVER.

    protected boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message) {
        if ((TouchEvent.GESTURE == message.getEvent()) && (TouchGesture.HOVER == message.getGesture().getEvent())) {
            return true;
        }
        return super.touchEvent(message);
    }

    It works but I would like to know if there is a better way to do it for the specific area.

    There are http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/7.1.0api/net/rim/device/api/ui/Field.html#makeContextMenu (... but I think that it allows only to erase or change the menu, don't not to avoid planned.)
    others may be better informed about this area, but I think that your approach is valid.
    You can also check navigationclick maybe, don't know if the hover the gesture is translated to a click, but usually a click opens the context menu.

  • Failed to create the menu popup JavaScript with to display the context Menu with the help of add behaviors

    Whenever I load a page with this added behavior and test it with my link, I get a message "error on Page".

    Here's what I do:

    Create a new HTML page in Dreamweaver 8.0.2 and save it.

    Add a hyperlink in the Insert-> menu hyperlink. Do not put anything in it except a few example of text; "THIS IS a TEST", or something.

    Select the hyperlink and choose "Show the context Menu" in the tag behaviors menu tab ' + '. The dialog box will appear.

    Add a single item and add a link to a page. Do not change the other options. Click OK to close the dialog box and the code will be added to the page.

    Save the HTML page again and press F12 to load the page on your test server and display them in a browser.

    Hover your mouse over the link to test. Nothing happens and there is a message in the status bar at the bottom of the browser, "error on Page".

    OK, it works. I saw the source file that are listed there, but I assumed that Dreamweaver would be to download the file with the HTML file to test on my test server. Usually, I'm prompted to download all the dependent files. Is there an exhibitor or dreamweaver do not miss this link?

    I'm sold on convictions explained in the rants you have linked, but only after I see that Dreamweaver menus don't work. It is not entirely necessary for my completely dependent users of my menus, they are only a feature of page layout.
