Hello

"beep" codes normally indicate a hardware problem / failure.

Go to your computer manufacturer's website and look at the specifications of your PC to see what BIOS you have

Then read this on the 'beep' error codes to try to see what failed:

http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/nonworkingcomponent/HT/beepcodestb.htm

If you are unable to determine the hardware problem yourself, contact the manufacturer if under warranty.

If it is not under warranty, find a good repair shop premises to take.

See you soon.

    Hello

To be honest, it's very strange question. What is some external device connected to your laptop?
Have you tried to update the BIOS to the latest version?

Sorry, but I think that in this case, there is not a lot, you can do it. Perhaps the BIOS update, clean install of the OS. All that s.
Maybe you should contact the closest service and ask what it can be.

    Hello

You said that the unit stops Windows load. Is the unit freezes or stops?
Have you checked the battery status? Try to remove the battery and after a few minutes trying to plug it in again. Try to start the device again.

  • Continuous beep sound from my computer Acer Aspire 7540.

    Original title: his record game

I get a continuous beep from my computer Acer Aspire 7540. How can I stop it except turn off the sound.

    Hi G V Palmer,.

1 did you recent hardware or changes to the software of the system?

The system beeps are so important that it indicates system errors and warn you against system damage. When the processor system or Random Access Memory (RAM) or hard drive is not working properly, it will give the alert system using the beep.

I recommend you to check if the RAM and hard drive work properly.

You can also change the pattern of its Windows as 'None' and search for the question.

    a. Click Start, click Control Panel, and select sound.

    b. in the sounds, iselect 'No Sounds' tab under sound scheme, click Save as.

    (c) in the Save Project dialog box under, type a name for the new sound scheme.

The new scheme appears in the model box sounds.

Check if you are still having the tone.

For more information, you can consult the following article:

  • Continuous beep Acer Altos G530

The server has a beep continuous, spaced about 1 second interval.  Fine boots, all three hard drives show green lights.  Running windows 2000 server.  No alerts on the desktop, showing problems.   Is there a diagnosis that can be run either although software or BIOS to see what could be the cause of the problem.  Is there a common problem (ie. memory) that would cause a continuous beep code.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It turns out that, even if the green lights were on all the hard drives, one of the disks had failed.  I was able to enter the raid software and disable the alarm until I was able to replace the disk.

    Hello

Sound beeps are error codes that describe a problem with your machine. A continuous beep
can mean keyboard (loose or bad cable), losing the card, power, a short circuit or other matter according to the
    System/BIOS manufacturer.

Startup and select CONFIGURATION/SETTINGS (BIOS/CMOS) - usually F2 that you start - look to see BIOS
    Creator, then see here:

Beep when the power is generated by the BIOS before Windows starts and so have nothing to do with Windows.  You're more likely to find help at a forum dealing with equipment, for example http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/247100-31-continuous-bios-beep-booting

It could be as simple as a stuck keyboard, but see the manual of your motherboard for details on beep codes.

    Hello Emeka

You may have a problem with your keyboard or your mouse.

Try each and connect it again and see if that fixes it. If your computer starts to make noises beeps at startup upward once again you will need to give your keyboard a thorough clean or replace.
    Hope this helps

  • Toshiba M30 - random continuous beep

    Hello!

    I have a Toshiba M30 - 154.
In the last three days, I had a problem that repeats:
randomly when I'm working on the PC (applications/different conditions) the pc spekers do a continuous sound (like a beep...) and the only solution is to shut down the pc and reboot. Even more: if I try to stop with 'Turn-off' windows... «, the system hangs at the screen "closing Windows...» "and so the only solution is to press the button for a few seconds.
I am convinced that this is not a software problem...

    Any idea or suggestion?
    Thank you!

    Stefano.

PS: Sorry for my English. I hope that you will understand me.

    Hello

to be different if it is a hardware or software problem, you can use the XP System Restore tool. You need to remember when the sound appears for the first time and put the system to a restore point before appearing!

    Try and keep us informed!
