Control of color!

HI - is there a different interface of the color?

It's the only one I seem to have, even the HEXAGON # does not relate in RGB. Very primitive.

Am I missing something?

Screen Shot 2016-07-29 at 9.20.06 AM.png

This is the interface of a single color currently.

The hexadecimal value must be #RRGGBB, which seems to match what you show here,

so maybe I don't understand the problem you see when you say "the HEXAGON # is not RGB.

In addition, if you have any suggestions for other things you want to see in the color picker or elsewhere, do not hesitate

  • Cannot control the color sensor in LabView for Mindstorms

    Hello!  New here.

I'm currently boning on LabView via 'LabView for Lego Mindstorms' for a possible job in the near future, and I encountered a problem from the beginning.

I am programming my brick Lego of LabView to simply activate the color sensor which is quite easy: I'm building a while loop and inside I have a block of color sensor attached to a block of text that displays the light intensity of the probe in the text on the brick.  I compile and run the detector turns on and I can read the intensity constantly updated on the brick.  This part works fine.  I would now like to control the light sensor (that doubles as a light source with color LEDs) on the front of the LV Panel.  The book I'm using (LabView for Lego Minstorms) says I should block sensor on the entry "generate light' do right click and choose"Create--> Control"in the menu that appears.  A Boolean command button should appear connected to the sensor block in the block Panel and a push button should appear in the front panel.  This is not what is happening.  Here, the two things are different.

    (1) I have no port "generate light" click on right-click.  This is probably using a version more day of Mindstorms that uses of the book.  It's a matter of book/Mindstorms, which probably cannot be resolved here but I hope that the next issue of problems will make it irrelevant.

    (2) I right click and create the control, but rather than create a Boolean command button as the book predicts, it creates an icon "BrickReference.lvclass".  He connects very well with the light sensor and a corresponding block is created in the front panel, but it is a paper weight that I can tell.  I can't do anything with it.  There are no buttons to push, no slider, button, button radio etc and I can't seem to change into something that somehow work.  I have delete and don't create a no kidding Boolean button from the library, but it does not connect to the photoelectric cell and so I can not compile.  So now, I'm a little stuck.

I searched "Reference of the brick" online in the context of LabView class and have found little or nothing that talks about its definition or how I can use it to control the light via the front panel sensor.  Help with the software section is not much help, and yet I'm sure there must be a way to control a simple Lego light sensor of the façade for debugging purposes and others.

If you know what I'm doing wrong or if you know a finish around this issue that will allow me to control a Mindstorms brick from the front in this way, please let me know.

    Thank you!

  • Is there a way to control the color (or other properties) of several layers of text at a time?

A frequent case when you design a Web page:

I create text elements/blocks and each a title, body, etc...

each title is a separate text layer and I use the actual content (so no lorem ipsum)

Is there a way to set the color of the text as separate dynamic object or kind of style? So when I want to try other color I would be able to change it in one place and it applies to all linked text layers that use it...

Dynamic objects using works fine for repeated identical items, but not when the elements are different as these texts...

The library using CC allows you to set the style that can be applied again to several objects, but in the case of a PSD file complex with a long list of records and layers, it is very difficult and a lot of time to select all the layers desired by hand and apply them the style you want...

In the end, I'm looking for a clear way to define a style sheet: fonts, colors, attack, variants, etc. as distinct kind of "smart objects"...

    Is this achievable in Photoshop?

Create a solid color fill adjustment layer and turn it into a smart object. This duplicate SO using ctrl/cmd-J and hang it on all the text layers you want color. You can then open the SO and change the color and it will be applied to all the text layers that this particular SO is cut to.

Is the color in the CSS value #000000? The text which is a link in iBooks is purple. You can change it to force it to be black, but if someone goes into night mode it will not be displayed on the black background, it is not recommended.

  • OfficeJet 7610 large format: Advanced color settings

    Hi @jyz2100,

Although the advanced color settings may be different, there are options with software and print, dialog box that you can modify. I wonder if you might find the following useful information:

    The default sRGB mode
The default sRGB color space is the most common configuration for print jobs. As mentioned, most of the images are sRGB and sRGB offers color high quality automatic without user intervention. When sRGB is selected, the driver controls the color management. Color management should not be attempted with ICC profiles, while the pilot is set to sRGB mode. This will lead to generally low color fidelity.

  • Button-table with colors?

    Hey everybody,

I made a matrix table buttons (please open my attached picture to understand what I wanted).

I want to do two things:

1 make the clickable buttons, and to make an event every time that one of them was clicked by the user.

    2. to control the color of each sepertly button in the table.

I use CVI 2013 with academic courses.

Who are possible? and what are the commands that I can use for these tasks?

    Best,

    Tom

Button cells are already active as far as the table either warm or normal mode.

If in hot mode, you receive an EVENT_COMMIT in the callback of the table: you can detect and then press the call GetTactiveTableCell key and contact information processing cell.

Individual cells can be painted in colors as Panel, the command is enabled is not to follow the Windows theme: change the attributes of the Control Panel, select other attributes... and uncheck use Windows visualization Styles to checkbox controls.

The only table can also be defined this way leaving the Panel and other controls to join the theme: you can get this by calling:

    SetCtrlAttribute (panelHandle, PANEL_TABLE, ATTR_DISABLE_PANEL_THEME, 1);

In this case, the individual cells must be painted programmatically by calling:

    SetTableCellAttribute (panelHandle, PANEL_TABLE, MakePoint (col, row), ATTR_CMD_BUTTON_COLOR, VAL_CYAN);

where col, row are 1 column and index of the row of the cell base to work on. The function will fail if the cell is not a button.

  • Boolean button changes color briefly when you press

Hi, I use Boolean button is a toggle, so I want only text changes when pressed without changing the appearance of the button.

I am able to change the color on properties to match the color Off (I use the silver palette so normally is yellow), but when the Boolean button changes to, there is a brief change of color again. Is there a way I can get rid of him?

In fact, some of my buttons Flash black while others are flashing yellow. I have no idea where this is defined.

    Thak you very much.

There are 4 colors for Boolean values ON and OFF more past of WE OFF and goes off to WE

You see only the color of transition when you have the locking set of 'locking' Mech by releasing

Set on "lock when you press on" and you will not see the colors of transition

You can set all 4 colors by using the Colors property [4]

    Colors [4] property

    Short name: color [4]

    Request: Development of database system

    Class: Boolean properties

    Usage: Create a property.

Table of up to 4 (foreground color, background color) pairs, where foreground color is the color of Boolean control foreground and background color is the background color of the Boolean control. Color pairs include False, True, true to False and false to True.

You can set the color of the object of the façade by plugging in a hexadecimal number with the form RRGGBB or by plugging in the constant color box in the property.

This property is similar to the option of colors on the page of the appearance of the Boolean properties dialog box.

If the Boolean control has four (foreground color, background color) pairs for four States, this property always returns an array of four (foreground color), background color pairs during playback. When you write, you can pass an array of length 1, 2 or 4. If you pass in a single element, this property uses the value of the element for all four States. If you pass in two elements, this property uses the first value of the element to false and true false States. Similarly, this property uses the second element for the real and the fake in real States.

If the Boolean control has one pair (foreground color, background color) for all four States, this property returns an array of pair (foreground color, background color) during playback, and uses the first element of the array when writing. You cannot change a Boolean control with (foreground color, background color) pair to a Boolean control with multiple (foreground color, background color) pairs.

This property uses only the True to False and False to True States when you set the Boolean control to latch or switch when released. You can get and set these (foreground color, background color) pairs even if you do not have the control latch or switch value when released. they are not used.

Because this property does not change the Boolean control data, you can set it at any time.

You can use this property to Boolean control on the Classic, Expresspallets, modernand silver . You cannot use this property for Boolean controls in the System palette.

  • Modification of several STL Mesh color dynamically

    Hello

I'm developing a (attached) VI that loads several STL files into a 3D picture of control. I want to be able to control the color of each mesh STL individually during execution is dynamically. In the present VI I posted, I can change the color of the dynamically created last stitch ("Skull" in my VI). This is achieved by the SceneMesh. SetMeshParameters method inside the while loop. However, I can't find a way to do this for all STS. The solution seems trivial. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Nevermind, I was able to figure it myself.  . The solution wa trivial indeed.

Instead of spending the last element of the Nums of the loop ref mesh for, I had the table in its entirety and used as array index to take the mesh at the manipualte as shown above. I have attached the VI update as well. I hope this helps.

  • Using custom control: draw a line and output start and end points

I'm looking to find or make a custom control (or simple Subvi), which appears as a grid of 100 x 100 unit and allow me to draw a line from one point to another on this grid. It will then display (x, y) of departure and the point of this line on the grid.  Any help or ideas?

    Thank you

    Steve

    LabVIEW 2009 SP1

You want essentially is a loop with an event structure when you process mouse down, move and up to events for the controls. There are several ways to implement something like that, but it will be probably the simplest:

    1. Use a table or a listbox multicolumn for your grid. Hide scrollbars and headers.
    2. You can use the ActiveCell property to-2, - 2 to select all cells. You can then use the cell size property to define the exact size of the cell.
    3. Then you put a picture on the top of the table control and color its transparent background so that the table shows through. Property node allows you to ensure that both line up on exactly the same location and size.
    4. You use the mouse on the image control events to detect clicks and moves.
    5. Point of the table to the method of the column line allows you to translate the position data of the event to a cell.
    6. You use the image control screws to draw the line on the photo based on these data.
    7. You can even color the cells selected in the table by using the table properties.

If you want to simplify things a bit, you can also use the event of timeout instead of moving the mouse event to draw the line, but then you keep the timeout value in a shift register and hand it to-1 (no timeout) when the mouse event to the top.

I would also say treatment mouse enter and leave events to change the cursor and cancellation if the user leaves in the middle of drag.
