• How can I check the addons allowed / tool boxes installed in the LabVIEW environment controls palette?

  Hi all

  I allowed for students to install the version of LABVIEW. I'm new to the LabVIEW.
  I installed license Toolkit LabVIEW Digital Filter Design in my laptop. But I can't find the options of digital filter in treatment of the signal from the controls palette. Its not there despite the installation. I checked in the license OR Manager he said toolkit Digital filter design has been enabled for this computer.
  Can someone please help locate specific digital filter of this Toolbox options? How can I check the functions in the range control to the Toolbox, I installed?

  LabVIEW 2014 32-bit, he will find-> design of digital filters signal processing.

  In Labview 2014 64-bit, I can find it or the other. I know that some tools are not supported in LV 64-bit.  I couldn't find documentation on the system requirements for this toolkit so I could not say it, maybe you can change at LV 32 bits?

  I can't find the data control Palette...

  The data control Palette is inside an accordion in the navigation Application on 11 g.

• Impossible to delete empty columns of controls palette

  Certainly a low priority, in fact just a gene.

  I was using the palette Editor (menu below shortened manually) today in order to copy the existing palette icons by saving them as glyphs. When you leave the palette I have not spared, but had not in fact made no changes.

  

  The palette editor does not display the additional columns.

  

  However, there are several additional columns when you use LabVIEW normally.

  

  This question is LV Version 10.0.1

  James,

  The range of controls is actually sizing itself to adapt the names of each subpalette.  In the case of most of the subpalettes, the names are fairly short ('Modern', 'Silver', 'Classic', etc.), but I noticed that you have the palette 'UI Control Suite '.  "This palette gets to have the too verbose display name of"UI Control Suite: OR themed Custom Control Suite", and the palette is design to hold the entire text."

  

  One thing you can do to fix this is to change this subpalette to have a shorter name, which should not affect the functionality.  Moreover, the community page for more control OR on the custom theme is here.

  I tried the forums looking (without success), maybe I'm not research using the right keywords.

  How can I change my palette of control at all times?

  I never change them myself, but I think that

  Tools > Options > pallets of commands/functions > Foramtting > pallet

  Maybe the switch you are looking to find.

  I work with LabVIEW 2013 SP1 in Windows 7.  After installing LabVIEW (which I did a year ago), I installed OR DAQmx 15.5.1, which I believe is compatible with my version of LabVIEW, according to the following link: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/B0D5630C0A50D5C6862578E800459248

  After installation, I opened LabVIEW 2013 and attempted to find the DAQmx Wizard in the Express palette, but I can't.  The Assistant appears to be located in the folder LabVIEW2013/vi.lib, as shown in the attached image:

  

  However, at the opening of LabVIEW, the express palette looks like this:

  

  I tried to find the relevant information via Google and the forums NOR, but without success.  What is the problem here, and how can I rectify?

  If it is relevant, my ultimate goal is to communicate with an analog input (OR cRIO-9215) card and the output card (NI 9269) each connected in a separated cDAQ-9171.  I can see and each of these devices have tested OR max.

  The palette is different for the façade and the block diagram press ctrl + E or window-> block diagram and right-click. Under Express-> entry, you will see the palette that you want.

• new drawing of the listbox control palette

  Hello

  Is there a way to delete the drawing of a listbox control when it is being rebuilt. We are witnessing flickering on Win and Mac machines, it can take some time to rebuild the list. If we set the visible flag to false, we get a quick regeneration on the Mac, but the area where the list was off and then redraws when set us the visible flag to true.

  A method is described here that I saw on hilfDirSelbst, which amnounts to replace a ListBox, rather than rewrite its contents. Incredible speed wins.

• Pavilion G7-1260us: 3 responses to the previous question were well intended but not useful. Video recording palette failed

  Apologize to publish new same problem but to reaffirm for clarification. The computer works fine with default (poor) VGA graphics, but stops almost immediately when using Intel HD 3000 graphics. All the equipment tests pass including the motherboard, but the test of component for video control palette fails.  I guess that it is the graphics card Intel chip but I don't know if it can be repaired or replaced... or anything else will cause the described problem? I have a problem almost identitical with a Macbook Pro with Intel High Res graphics card. Works well with the low-resolution graphic aps and I fear it's an insoluble Intel so stir the question.

  Finally 'pass' on all the tests.  After replacing the CPU, Windows 7 started many, many updates to loading. I downloaded the HP Vision Hardware Diagnostics for additional verification, and that's all right. Graphics card Intel HD 3000 works with 3D Open GL tests.

• Graph of the special palette combinations

  Hello!

  I have a chart that displays some sliders and wave. Is it possible to assign a combination of special keys for the chart controls palette? Say I want to zoom in on the graph, then I could press 'z' on my keyboard and then the zoom depending on the palette will be selected. It is the same for the pan and the cursor. Shouldn't be there an easy way in Labview to do this, or what I need to do a separate program?

  In this case using a Pict control ring (from the palette of the ring & Enum) is probably the easyest way if you don't need to load images dynamically. To dynamically load, you can use a 2D (from the chart - controls palette) image control.

  I want to add a control to the string or the constant in my program who has a fall to the bottom of the box, which allows you to choose from a list of string to use for the constant/control.  How do I do that?

  While I was working with these controls in a user interface, I found a strange behaviour between these two controls. Basically the 'Multi-column Listbox' control 'palette of money", which represents a 'table 2D', it appears always initialized with a null value in the first column and line 6, on the contrary that the 'multi-column listbox' control in the 'modern' palette appears not initialized.

  Is this a normal behavior?

  It has been reported previously in R & D as 382668 of the CAR. It is always present in LabVIEW 2012 SP1, but it has been assessed to be fixed in future versions of LabVIEW. Thanks for reporting it!

  The best way to install an instrument driver can be attributed to the title of the set of features is to use the tools > Instrumentation > find the instrument Drivers.

  Using this tool, you can search for your device to the network instrumentdriver and it automatically installs in LabVIEW.

• How can I request properties for VI refnum control another and which type I know?

  I got the refnum of control of a Table running on a separate VI programmatically. I find his name and when the match multibordure I want to use its refnum of control to change som cells values inside through the Invoke node or node property. However even though I know that it is a Table I'm not allowed to wire control refnum to a property node with the "Active cell", "Color of BG" et.c. I'm not being allowed to connect to a node to Invoke with the method "value of the cell value.

  Is there a work around for this?

  You must use the function "to a more specific class' in the application control palette.
