controls/wired headset

Just to confirm if 7 Slate taking don't/does not support control of play/pause/next/previous button via the wired headset?

Hello maxbg, I used two different set of headphones equipped with play/pause controls, both without effect.

Tried the Android "play music" app, Pandora, etc.

I would say that the Slate7 doesn't have this ability.  :-(

  • You can bind a wired headset to the Apple Watch through the iphone?

Hi, I'm trying to understand if it is possible to connect a wired headset to iphone and then have them work with the watch in the same way that wireless bluetooth headset would work. I watched several bluetooth headsets and none have really interested me and come with many drawbacks, so try to determine if the same functions would be usable with a wired headset.

    Hello

No, it is not possible currently.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones seeks wired headset adapter

I need to use a headset on the ear wired with a boom because of the difficulties of hearing / speaking. The earphones supplied with theBlackberry Pearl don't work well for me but I can not find a headphones using the 3.5 mm 4 connector plug used by the Blackberry I can find an adapter to use the other great headphones that I already own (uses two jacks 3.5 mm plugs, one for a microphone for the speaker.) Ideally, a type Y 2 Female3.5mm 2-pin plugs to 1 male 3.5 mm 4 pole would be the ideal solution. I would still make an adaptor myself if I cold find a seller for the connector 4 taken 3.5 mm jacks. Anyone know all sources? I checked the Radio Shack with no luck. I also would consider buying any other high quality on the wired headset ear.

  • Which jack for wired headset/microphone: 3.5 mm or usb microphone?

For those using cable headsets with microphone for calls and listen to music, what type of jack you like your headphones to use: standard 3.5 mm jack on the top of the phone or plug micro usb on the side?

I had assumed the 3.5 mm Jack was the only solution, but when I searched for the Droid compatible wired headsets listening on the motorola site, everything they offer is headsets micro usb connected.  It made me wonder if this type offers the best sound quality, more features, less bugs, etc.

Dan the right on compensation for microUSB jacks.  With the mcroUSB used so often and for different tasks, you can not over-emphsize the importance of being careful (and sweet) to connect to them.

  • Droid wired headset problem/Question

    Hello

Anyone else have a problem with the volume being really quiet or silent call on wired headset plugged on Droid?

The 3.5 mm jack seems to work in music mode very well. I can hear MP3s sound level expected, however, when in call volume helmet falls to zero or almost zero level and cannot be increased. Other callers can hear me (the microphone works) but I do not hear their return or sound extremely tiny.

I tried with two headphone 3.5 mm to 4 different drivers - iPhone and Blackberry - two I have this problem on appeal and at the same time, both are great for listening to music. I first noticed this problem after 2.0.1 OTA update 2.0 original. Recent update 2.1 has not solved this problem.

I saw a big bunch of "similar sounding but NOT the same" problem/questions about integrated earpiece does not work once the headset is disconnected. I don't seem to have this problem. The problem I am describing applies to the volume wired headset for calls only.

    Thank you very much!

If you get it replaced make sure you only change the SD card to the new.  Then, you won't lose any of these data.  You can save all your texts on the SD card with an application called SMS Backup & Restore.  The first time you open Market and tap Menu-> downloads it will show you all of your applications.  Paid and free.  If you leave this same screen so before installing all the they will disappear.  Write all your apps prior would be a good thing to do.  I hope this helps.

  • Notebook Network Card - it controls wired and wireless?

A few weeks ago, we were struck by lightning.  Several components wired ethernet were blown out.  My HP laptop was connected by CAT5e network at the time.  Now, the WIFI works, but the hard drive, Wired is DOA.  I don't know that there is a hardware failure.  Is the wired and WIFI, both controlled by the portable NIC... a $30 fix or will I need a new motherboard on the laptop?

The "WIRED" network adapter is built into the laptop system board and would require the relocation of the card of the system to solve your problem. The 'WIRELESS' network adapter is a discreet card that is independent of the system board and can be replaced if necessary.

  • Remote control wired connection

This may be an impossible task, but I need to know. I set up a home network with my HP laptop running Windows 7 Professional. The modem and the router are on the first floor with two devices connected by Ethernet cable and therefore must stay where they are. But I also want to add a Blu - ray player not wireless located on the second floor on the same network. Is there a way to do this without running a long Ethernet cable, possibly with the help of a second bridge router or any? Thank you.

You plug a powerline network adapter into a power outlet near your router capable of wired (ethernet) on the first floor and use a cable to plug the powerline adapter into said router.

You plug the other adapter powerline network in an outlet near your wired capable blu - ray player (ethernet) and the network adapter powerline for the blu - ray via ethernet player.

    Fact.

I'm not sure (unless you now want to do more, "add a Blu - ray player not wireless located on the second floor on the same network") that you read, which led you to believe that would not work.  :-)

This story is almost written on your situation - in January of this year...

I looked at a similar adapters for the iphone, and they use three pins on both sides of the plug. Then, use a plug 3 pins in the helmet for a stereo output problem? Thank you.

No. I used several cables with my Droid to plug into the power of auxiliary input of the car radio.  All 3.5 mm male plug works perfectly.

  • You use a bluetooth headset while it is also connected to the Digital AV adapter

I run on a treadmill at the gym who has a digital AV adapter for television in front of me.

Normally, I have to plug my Wired headphones to the plug supplied at the gym, who returned from the TV.

I was wondering if I can use my bluetooth headset (which easily pair it with my phone) to listen to the audio from my phone when it is connected to the Digital AV adapter and play the video on the TV?

This way, I would have the video on television, but the audio through my wireless headset.

NOTE: I previously noticed with my wired headset, that if I plugged the AV adapter first and then plugged my headphones directly into my phone, I could get the audio directly from the phone (as opposed from the plug that is connected to the TV). So I was hoping that this could also be done with the wireless headset.

    Thank you

I figured out how I could do.

When I attach the adapter Digital AV, video and audio will play through the TV.

With the Bluetooth headset connected to my phone, I can switch the "AirPlay" parameter from the control center from TV to my bluetooth headset.

This keeps the video playing on the TV (via adapter), but it sends the audio to my bluetooth headset. Perfect!

  • HP Envy Phoenix h9 headset problem

When I plug my headphones, no sound comes out of it, but rather the speaker produces sound. I realized that my mic jack works and when I plug it into the headphone jack of the headset, the computer says that there is no wired headset. It's very frustrating because when I do a session of disorder on audio playback, it is said:

The device doesn't seem to be connected. Check the connection. Go to the next step at the end.

I chose the option: speakers/headphones - IDT HIgh Definition Audio CODEC

I plug the jack is at the front of the computer, on the top where there is the headphone, microphone and usb 2 places to put them in. My helmet do not appear when I go into Control Panel, hardware and sound, sound. The device: speakers/headphones show that it is not plugged. I have a feeling that the headphone jack somehow uncomfortable. He worked even more early until I turned off the computer (I got micro usb and headphones jack of the headset before stop). After a while, I turned on my computer and realized that there is the problem of helmet. I tried to use the headphones on another computer, and it worked. I tried to use other headphones on the HP ENVY, but it did not work.

  • Handset/headset Monitoring Query (Alternative to 7942G)

    Hello Cisco support community!

I have another query concerning devices having the ability of monitoring handset/headset, currently our homes real estate 7942 g across contact center however, they recently became out of use and we were informed to improve our handsets to 7841 s due to being as for as in terms of capacity.

However, this is not the case because there is no option for handset/headset in the device profile which is an important condition for the center of contact especially when training new officers.

I got a glance at several data sheets and have had a look through the device of CUCM profiles and I can't find a newer model with this feature, I'm basically looking for an official reply see if there is another device that has this ability that is not the end of life.

    Hi Christophe,

With phones 7900 series as the 7942, this behavior was actually a bug until the release of the 8-5-x firmware. I really believe that they could not come up with a fix for this unexpected problem that some people close & desired and other hated and despised so they just made a real feature.

CSCsr65970 - function to toggle audio played to the handset during a helmet

    Description

    Symptom:
If you listen carefully, the phone will simultaneously play audio for headphones and combined
    at all times.

    Conditions:
It is found on all phones 79XX until firmware 8.3 (5)

    Workaround solution:
It is a specific configuration of the product now available in CCMAdmin > device > phone for phones 79 X 2 and X 5 79.
    Handset/headset Monitor:

When the handset/headset control is enabled, a supervisor can pick up the idle handset/headset and hear the current call. For example, if an agent is on a call on the headset, a supervisor can hear the other party on the handset. Only the microphone on the active handset/headset is in use. For example, if an agent is running on the helmet, then the headset microphone is active and the microphone in the handset is disabled.

  • Using my Bluetooth of Plantronics 340 headset as headphones pc VOIP.

I try to use my bluetooth headset from plantronics with my computer, such as a microphone/earphone combination, with the popular game software of VOIP Teamspeak.

I have a laptop from a different manufacture under XP SP3. My Bluetooth stack is an a Toshiba. I reinstalled the drivers Toshiba/software because he always used the Microsoft generic ones before, but I can't seem to detect the headset.

What I am doing wrong? Please let me know if you need more information about my hardware/software configuration in order to respond to my request. The system is able to detect compatible bluetooth mobile phones, just not this helmet apparently.

Right click on the systray icon Bluetooth, click new connection-> select "Custom Mode"->...
Now you should be able to select the headset profile.
Also if the software can control the headset, then use the VoIP option. If you want to control you headset with button clicks and so now then do not select the VoIP option during installation.

  • Headset Bluetooth interference;

Is there a real way to solve interference problems caused by the Magic Mouse/Keyboard when having a connected bluetooth headset?

I know there are a lot of people complain about this problem but no real solution.

A USB BT dongle would solve anything?

My iMac integrates the latest version of BT and I have a magical mouse and a magical keyboard connected to it.

I do not use Bluetooth headset or keyboard and wireless mouse. Assuming that there is a problem of interference, I think that the only solution would be to use a wired headset or a wired keyboard mouse.
