Conversion of the Photo negatives

Photosmart C410a is able to convert negatives photo photos on the computer?  Please notify.

Hello

No it's not, you need a unit with a scanner that is capable of scanning media transparant. In other words, that there an extra light in the cover. Last HP printer that had this feature was the c8180. Not sure about the only units of scanners. I do now there are special scanners out there just for that and they are not expensive.

Can someone tell me if they have used Revel, to convert raw to jpeg photo?

Revel always supports photos in jpg or png and also supports video. If you have raw files, you will need to create a jpg version before their download to revel. We have seen an interest by downloading raw files, but it is not currently available as an option.

  • I got negatives on a CD. The instructions say to "run the Photo on the CD Viewer '.» How can I do this?

    I got the negatives on a CD instead of local printing. The instructions that came with the CD says: 1) Insert the CD into your computer [what I did];

    (2) run "photo Viewer for Windows: on the CD." Use the photo viewer to see photos & save them to your computer.

[I did not #1 because I do not know how to do "... on the CD" etc etc] [Can someone tell me how to make this you?]

If J tips do not help, download and install IrfanView (it's free).  Start IrfanView, click file > open, navigate to your CD-ROM drive, and then select the first file.  Once the file is open, you can use the left/right arrows in the menu bar of IrfanView to come and go through your negatives.

You will see that IrfanView is a very powerful and versatile image viewing application.  Among other things, you can display many different types of image files, conversion between types (for example, to convert a BMP to JPG file) and resize the image (useful for emailing) files.

Although you could save the files you open and view them by clicking file > save on each of them, it is easier to save all the files at once:

    • Put the CD in the drive
    • Open my computer
    • Double-click the icon for your CD drive
    • Click Edit > select all
    • In the right pane, click "copy the selected files.
    • In the context menu, navigate to the location where you want to save the files (probably in my pictures - you will need to click on the + sign next to My Documents to see)
    • Click the copy button
  • HP Photo Creations: The Photo Creator image file Conversion

Trying to help a friend. She has an HP printer and used HP Photo Creator.

However, the program (with his help) has managed to convert all files on several DVD into JPG files that cannot be opened by using the Photo Creator software. Other programs refuse to open the files, saying they are invalid or damaged. Yet HP Photo Creator opens fine.

She requested that its JPGs to be accessible using any image look a program (this seems reasonable).

Is it possible to convert these files into a format that can be used by any photo/picture read/write software please?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Export to the Photo in email (Mail) does not

Recently upgraded to El Capitan on my Mac in late 2009.

I worked through most of the problems of conversion of iPhoto photo.

A question, I'll have the pictures sent to me, the guest in Mail to 'Export of Photos' does nothing.  I select that the photo does not appear in the Photo, nor can I find it anywhere else using the Finder.

Any ideas on how I can fix this so I can add photos by email to the Photo?

    Thank you!

Moved from Feedback Forum Windows pictures and video Forum.

The link you provided high see "How can I recover my photos on my hard drive" is a dead link, it goes to a page that does not exist. .

And this isn't what I ask... at least I think that's not.
I bought and installed the software from Microsoft called "Microsoft Research why 2008".   I created several members of their family (4) collages using photos, they sent, and I.
I need one of my pictures yesterday for something else and when I went back to its original location it was not there.
That why 2008 take pictures when the collage was created, recorded and sent.   I can't find the pictures I used in the last collage.

If RAW files are saved, try to find these formats... RAW files are similar to photo negatives

If you have not moved the picture, it should be in the original file. Have you opened the software MS Research why and searched files containing the picture?  When you use this type of software, always make a copy of the photo.

  • file does not open in the photo gallery

Photo Gallery will not open a file with. Extension of THU.  Don't know where that. Extension of THU came.  What can I do to fix the file to open in the photo gallery?

It may or may not be possible to do it since THU files are usually associated to the command and Conquer Renegade and not a type of image file.  The ' * .thu ' files are also thumbnails of images used in the origins of the family.  You should be able to see these files with one of these programs (according to them created).

Try simply by changing the type of file in JPG format and see if it works (although, if so, it may show a very tiny picture).  Don't forget to change if the time where the fact so that it works with any program it is really associated with (if you have it).

Go to start / Default programs / associate a file or Protocol with a program and a scroll to the game and reset the default value to the photo gallery (you will probably have to go) but that can get dirty any program, they are really associated if you use so change it back it when done if it was associated with another program validates.

If this does not work, I know no conversion program for this file type.

  • Help! Lightroom has lost all the photos

Using Lightroom 3 on OS x 10.6.8. A 12000 + photos in Lightroom. This is what happened:

I tried to export a picture using export with preset > burn size JPEG.

The program froze, with the beach of rotation ball.

I did a Force Quit, then tried to re - open LR. Received the following message:

    Screen shot 2016-02-23 at 12.18.58 PM.png

I had option but to choose a different catalog. Rebuilt, it opened with an old photograph inside.

When I try to open a catalog I get the following screen, but none of the catalogs connects to the database:

    Screen shot 2016-02-23 at 12.22.52 PM.png

A search shows that all the photos are still in the users folders > pictures > Lightroom then in different folders and collections.

How to get or create a catalog to post a link to the photos on my hard drive?  So far it seems no harm done, but the photos are inaccessible.

    Geoffrey Luck wrote:

Increasingly more complicated! Add. OLD as suggested did not LR to open the catalog with pictures. Instead, he opened with a single picture, exactly what happened when I first got the accident and responded to a command prompt to open a different catalog. It seems LR keeps pointing to this 'new' catalogue, but why he has a picture in it, I can't explain.

You must manually select the Lightroom 3 original catalog file:

Menu item: file > open catalog

Navigate to this folder and select the file to Lightroom Catalog.lrcat 3 .

    Geoffrey Luck wrote:

As to the "edited copies", I checked some of these pictures in sub LR files that were last imported and worked on and found they were modified versions. I had been scanning negatives b & w 60 years of age, and from LR to PES 9 to repair, so I am sure that I look at the modified pictures. I knew that LR edition is non-destructive, but I don't know where the originals were stored.

When you use 'Edit in PS' with 'apply changes to Lightroom"a new file is created with changes in LR & PS. That's what you see. The original files are always in the same place... not shake... not deleted... no written.

  • How can I export to PDF for printing Offset, including colors and grayscale of the photo?

After reading dozens of forum, I not yet found the answer.

I made a photo album with full-colur and b & w photos for Offset print. I want to be for the b & w grayscale avoid the hues of colors possible. It seems that InDesign does not support the shades of gray, how images become dark. Even with export without any conversion of color or the destination and/or including profiles of original colors, the images are exported to obscurity as a PDF to grayscale.

How can I export to PDF for printing Offset, including colors and grayscale of the photo?

Yes, Photoshop & ID CMYK working spaces are the same

This can become difficult because 3 programs manage proofing differently.

Work spaces don't matter, document profiles that handle the preview. So here's the same image in grayscale, placed in the ID on the top and PS on the bottom. I put my info in Photoshop to display the profile of doc in the lower left corner. I can see the profile of my InDesign CMYK Document in my test format (CMYK work is different and is not used). The two profiles are actually the same coated FOGRA39 (Black Ink FOGRA in the case of the PS).

But the previews do not match because I disabled, so the preview InDesign is Gamma 2.2 or a "screen" media preview overprinting.

If I turn on overprint preview, I get a match because I'm soft proofing for printing:

  • Sharpness of the photo in format Acrobat

Saving Photoshop files in PDF format and later to bring together them in a single PDF file to help combine files into a single PDF Acrobat results in a loss of image sharpness.

Instead, open the Photoshop PDF file in Acrobat and using the menu option Add Pages do not produce any loss of sharpness.

Why the possibility to combine files into a single PDF file degrades the quality of the photo and this option is meant for?

Have you checked the conversion settings when you used the handset function. In the version of Acrobat on this machine (AA8), there are three options for resolution.

  • Save the photos after update

I updated my iphone 5 with the 10.0.2 update of apple's software. Now when I get an email with an attached photo, I don't have this option to save the photo in my camera.

If you hold your finger on the picture it gives you the option?

  • Display of original filenames of the photos?

My older photos have file names that provide a description of the content of the photo.

In the latest version of Photos for Mac, only a limited number of characters is visible in the details pane.

is it possible to display the full name of the original file to the photos? (There used to be an option "Show in Finder", but that seems to have disappeared).

    Thank you

You can click the Info Panel file name field, enter ⌘A to select all, then copy and paste the name of the file where you want, for example, the title field or description.

The title will be shown, if you enlarge the photo.

I love PowerPhotos.  This companion Photos app allows you to view the pictures in mode list like Aperture, and and you can display the names of files and other metadata in list or display filenames under thumbnails.

    Ethan.

This is not photo - it is a function of the viewing program (probably the finder) - once the photos are exprted form pictures you can see then in different ways which you control, Photos does not - by the finder you can view by name of son, byt several dates, by file size, etc.

Usually, the best way to accomplish what you want is to export using the names of batch file numbeing and then sort by file name in the program viewing

  • optimal size of the photo

I want to know what is the optimal size of the photo of the Apple calendar. Particularly in the case of several photos per month.

    Thank you and best regards

    pamabi

    Photo calendars are size 13 x 10.4 inches (or 33 x 26.4 cm).

Information about the books, cards and calendars ordered photos for OS X and iPhoto - Apple Support

The photos you use will be quite large, if the pixel size is high enough to support at least 200 dpi, best 250 dpi.

So the picture full size should be at least 2600 pixels wide, better 3350 pixels to 250 dpi.

If you want to have 3 pictures in a row, to split these numbers by three.
