Convert .mov on DVD in Adobe Media Encoder

Hello.

I do not see a category just for Adobe Media Encoder, so I think this one is closest to you.

I have a video file that I edited in Final Cut Express and exported and a QuickTime, the settings are the same as the original film, what is HD 16:9.

The video is about 50 minutes long and 14 GB. When I export to iDVD and burn it to a DVD, the quality is very poor.

Is there a better way to convert the .mov to DVD format and then burn it? I have Adobe Media Encoder but cannot figure out how to set the settings... I see no way to adjust the flow rate when I choose Convert .mov in MPEG-2 DVD.

I am somewhat new to this and would appreciate the help.

Thank you

David

For good performance of AVCHD, you need a quad-core processor, minimum.

  • Adobe Media Encoder CS4 will not convert video .mov

    Hello

I have Adobe Media Encoder CS4 installed on my computer and I am trying to convert a .mov video in a format that can be edited on windows movie maker, and when I convert the video converts audio very well, but there is only a black screen. Any ideas as to why this could happen?

    Thanks in advance.

Right on happy it worked. Now, technically, we could probably use FFmpeg convert these into something that WMM would accept, and you should really be style, then.

Let's try this: duplicate the BAT file, I sent and replace the name 'mov2avi '. Right-click and select Edit, and then replace the last line with this:

    for %%a in (*.mov) do ffmpeg -i "%%a" -vcodec mjpeg -qscale 1 -acodec pcm_s16le -f avi -y "%%~na".avi

Save, and then run it. This will make a larger file, but you should be able to import this right in WMM. Let me know!

Yes, just downloaded WMM Live 2011 (or whatever it is called) and the import AVI in full. I would certainly recommend that, instead of convert twice.

  • Error: "Quicktime may need to be installed in order to display or to convert the video in Adobe Media Encoder.»

I'm trying to export a Flash video. I get this message

"Quicktime may need to be installed in order to display or to convert the video in Adobe Media Encoder."

Despite the error message, it "seems" and spits a mov file, but only the audio crosses (the video is all black).

I use Flash Professional CC, but older versions (CS6) seem to have the same problem.

Some tips on how to export as swf no Flash?

    Thank you!

I would still choose not to send the video through Adobe Media Encoder, which can stop the error message.

What is your scenario? Video export cannot export integrated H.264 video. If you do animation and audio to go on top an existing H.264 format video, export, but make sure the alpha box set when exporting. Then, you can combine the old movie H.264 with the animation and the sound you made in Flash.

You can always import Flash video files into SOUL CC 8.x, just slide the Panel queue and set the H.264 Format

  • Why can't encode a .mov using Adobe Media Encoder CC .mp4 or .ogv to use on board?

Why can't encode a .mov using Adobe Media Encoder CC .mp4 or .ogv to use on board?

Yes, mp4 in HTML5 browsers is h.264 encoded - h.264 is a subset of the MPEG-4 standard. More info here:

H.264/MPEG-4 AVC - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For ease of use in the SOUL, if you look to the right of the user interface in the presets, Web video > YouTube presets are those that will encode in h.264 with extension mp4 format.

  • Adobe Media Encoder CC2015.3 stuck in reading XMP

I'm really really frustrated with Adobe CC bugs.

I just formatted and reinstalled all (Adobe CC2015.3) on my new PC:

    -10 Windows

    -intel I7 - 6900K

    -128 GB DDR4 RAM

    -OS on a GB 512 m2

-Project files on two SSD RAID 0.

Now, when I send my soul and start the queue, SOUL rest hung on "reading XMP" for like an hour. After that, he moves and restores, but once the sequence is complete, it restarts to read XMP...

You do understand that I need to export 70 sequences (which take 5 minutes each) and I can't wait for this 100 hours just to read XMP SOUL!

I also tried the following in the SOUL: edition-> Preferences-> metadata-> set to none (no metadata export) all fields

    But it does not work.

I read ALL the threads on this subject, without finding any solution.

Please help me, I'm going to face a huge backlog that will make our customers very angry...

    Thank you

Hi, thanks for your answer! I just finished a call with the help of Adobe and we tried your suggestions with no result.

Moreover, after an hour of troubleshooting came us to this conclusion:

The problem may be related to the fact that this project was converted in to CC2015.2 under Windows 7 CC2015.3 in Windows 10. It is unclear why this is happening and it seems that there is no solution to this. They said that if I create a new project from scratch I shouldn't re-encounter this problem.

However, we found a working solution:

Put out the sequence you want to export, click on file > export > selection as a Premiere Pro project (I have the Italian version and I translated it here on the fly... not sure whether this is in fact the correct translation) and save some part of these projects.

Then, open the project just created, export the sequence on Adobe Media Encoder, click the game and this is! Loading XMP spend 1 hour to like 3-5 minutes (acceptable).

Well... it's a workaround, not a solution. But it works a little bit.

I'll let you know if I have other problems with new projects.

  • Troubled video export - CC animate Adobe and Adobe Media Encoder

After you have created a simple animation in Adobe animate CC, I want to export to a video file. Given that the export will result in one. MOV file, it requires Quicktime.

But I get messages from the CC animate and Adobe Media Encoder that the file is unusable, see attached screenshots.

    export_movie_error_Media_Encoder.PNG

    export_movie_error_dialogue_box_after_export_Animate_CC.PNG

    output_warning_export_movie_Animate_CC.PNG

Is it because that I Don t have Quicktime installed on my computer?

And one more question: as Microsoft announced that Quicktime player is a risk to security, how can we, who uses a Windows platform, use CC animate it s potential, if Quicktime is required as support software?

Is it perhaps other ways to convert your animation animate CC for a MP4 or other formats, to breast to animate it CC?

What other software do I need to convert a video animation file?

    Hardware and software:

    HP laptop

    Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise

    Intel Core i7 - 4800MQ CPU 2.70 Ghz

    16 GB memory

How works the video export is incredible. It can control how the code real time based animations are rendered. It is not surprising that he needs QuickTime to render so well. I think that for now you don't have a choice but to install QuickTime.

The latest QuickTime Player may have security problems may relate more to XP users. The issue in the news was reported in November and January, Apple released version 7.7.9, to deal with the issues who read as they are the same ones. But this version is not compatible with XP.

As you are on Windows 7, you can install the 7.7.9 version and be pretty up to date with security patches. If new questions rise, and suppose that Apple do not release a patch, make sure just that QuickTime is not configured to be Media Player by default and not go search the web looking for examples of QuickTIme sequences that are on questionable web sites.

In your Animate/video workflow, you have no reason to open QuickTime Player itself, or to be sequences QuickTime viewing in a browser, so I'm sure that you'll be safe.

Another tip, the default export quality is average. If you put this line of code in the first frame of the timeline:

    internship. Quality = "best";

the video quality will be much better. In addition, putting bitmaps to be lossless and allow smoothing. Even if the SWF from the scene becomes too demanding play, the exported video will be perfect.

  • Size of the smallest Possible video in Adobe Media Encoder

    Hello

I have a lot of files audio realmedia I need to convert to mp4 so that I can put them in InDesign. I want them as mp3 and mp4 is because I need the search controls so that the normal playback, stop, I need to be able to move forward and backward in the audio I like, using the seek function is a big deal in this project, and I don't think it's possible if I just place a file audio mp3 in InDesign? If this is the case, this would be ideal, so please let me know.

In any case, assuming that it is not, I am able to convert rm to mp4 ok, but they don't work in InDesign until I have run through Adobe Media Encoder, my question is: there is no video scenes to this 'video' is just a black screen with audio playback , what parameters can I choose in Adobe Media Encoder to make the size of the video file as small as possible, humanly speaking since all I need is the audio in this video format?

I don't know the first thing about SOUL so grateful for your comments as to who exactly I need to change the settings.

    Uncheck "Export video."

  • Export from Adobe Media Encoder Mac AVI

I would like to export the files AVI of Adobe Media Encoder (CS5 or later version) on a Mac running 10.6.8 or later. I am able to purchase codecs for Mac to do?

AVI is not a codec; It is a type of container (more precisely, it is the breadsticks for video and audio in the video for Windows system). You cannot export directly to AVI from Adobe Media Encoder on Mac OS.

What if I need an output to AVI on Mac, is to create a QuickTime (.mov) movie lossless encoded from Adobe Media Encoder and then worked for QuickTime Pro to convert to .avi.

  • Compressor4 vs Adobe Media Encoder

I don't seem to get an answer in the compressor section, so I ask the section FCPX see if I get an answer here.

There was a lot of studies have been made and some of them very detailed. So many numbers out there and different situations, but I would like to know the bottom line, which publishers prefer Adobe or Apple. Critics are in the Apple store mixed application. Online instead of adobe some say, the quality is almost the same Blue Ray on a DVD, but its process faster with Adobe Media Encoder.

    Thank you

In my view, there are a number of Final Cut Studio forumparticipants who regularly use more Adobe. You can post here if you do not get the answer you're hoping for.

Larry Jordan has made a few comparisons and published the here.
