Convert units replaces Description
Hi all
I'm a big fan of tiara and evangelize to it every chance I get. One of my users has a problem the other day, which involves the conversion of units. I was not able to solve the problem, but it is easy to reproduce. I have a channel that records the temperature in degrees F and I want to change it to Celsius. In the data portal I click the property unit and change from F to C. But now that was previously in the property description, for example "of the reactor core Temperature", is replaced by number and channel of the group name. For example: entry: [4] / Temperature_1 (16). This causes a lot of trouble because we use scripts that extract the descriptions to be used as text in reports. Why DIAdem doesn't do this and then I turn it off?

This is an optional behavior. According to what you do in tiara that is documented in the "description" property If you go into the settings of DIAdem you can stop this.

Photos, convert and replacement RAW to JPEG files
Hello!
I've been googling and looking for forums of Apple, and I've not found a way to do it again. I'm not sure that it is still possible.
I have a MacBook pro with a nice little SSD. Take RAW photos is gourmet area, and many of them lying around. Is there a way to replace the RAW with a JPEG photo-generated file to save space?
I thought to export to JPEG, removing the RAWs and import JPEG files, but then I will lose the album information they contain.
Is there a way to transform the RAWs in JPEG, then delete the RAWs to save space? Or is it easier to simply delete?
Any response would be highly appreciated!
Export and re-import are the only way to replace the originals.
And it takes if ensure that the original RAW have been deleted from your library and iCloud, before you reimport the JPEGs or Photos will be STINKING RAW format. At least, this happened to me several times.
You could try to export and import after assigning the name of the album as a keyword. Each album individiually, export
According to reimport the photos create a form of album pictures of the last Import.You can aalso use the albumname keyword to search for them.
When all goes well, remove the keyword, you no longer need.

PORECTOL in MS Dynamics GP 2010 - accounting units returned and replaced?
In GP, if we order 10 units on a purchase order, we receive 10 units (or 12 if we have a tolerance of 20%).
If we go back 5 and select 'replace returned products' option, then GP represents the units 'replaced' defaults to '5' on the next shipment transaction (a receive function).
However, with the PORECTOL does not take into account the units replaced, and we cannot receive the units of REPLACEMENT against the PO.
It is not acceptable to say our administrative staff to edit the purchase order and add new elements as representing more work when GP already represents for the units to replace.

BlackBerry Smartphones to find the backup files to restore to the replacement unit
I have problems to find where the Blackberry Desktop Manager is to store my backup files. A search on my computer for .ipd files shows nothing. I did a backup of my original device and wants to restore the contacts, calendar, and photos.
Edit: After another attempt at original device backup and restoring the device the Desktop Manager has the restore button grey replacement. In addition, the device PIN reads "zero" with unit replacement set.
Thanks, the third try was the charm. The Documents folder was there and the PIN has been finally recognized and restore is complete.

I have a new HP first graphic calculator. My old G 48 died on me, and decided to make the switch. It's so different from what I am accustomed.
First of all, this is my first HP Info:

A function that I use a lot on my 48G was converting units.
So I tried starting using Convert on my first HP and when I tried to convert I had a syntax error. Looked around in forums and somewhere, he updated firmware, I did.
Now I have 2 errors. First of all, when I press "Convert", I get a new error: wrong number of arguments
Then when I try to convert I get the same error of syntax.
I think I know where the problem lies for the syntax error, when converting should put units (of) I think. But for some reason any length that is not, for other units, he made (km2).
I tried the feature on the virtual calculator on windows and on the virtual server an everything works, but on my physical, I always get the same 2 errors (even when the units are in (), with no result.

Please let us know some examples of expressions that you tried, what you expected, and what has happened to the place. If I had to bet, I'd bet a nickel that the problem is due to your first RPN mode. If so, you must use RPN, not algebraic syntax. Example: 5_ft, Enter, 1_in, Enter, CONVERT-> 60_in (as well as on your HP 48). Earn a penny?

I think I found another problem in LV2011 today.
Basic Math does not work with the units of temperature:

N ° they have all both converted to Kelvin in your 1 ° c + 1 ° c example. 1 deg C = 274 K. 274 more than 274 K K = 548 K. Convert the result back and it's 275 deg C.
With 1 ° c + 1 Cdeg that equals 274 K + 1 K (Cdeg being the temperature delta to Celsius). It is 275 K = 2 deg C.
Without going through the other "related" units, the calculation falls apart. It converts units to their core values. And 1 deg C is equal to 1 K K + 273. So when you add another 1 degC, you add (1 K K + 273). The constant "shift" in the effective calculation is used twice, even though this isn't really what you want. But the language cannot really determine when you must add it or when it should not.

So what could be causing it to crashin SQL/PLUS via PUTTY? It makes no sense to me.
I also ran it through code formatter, because this will often show the ugly face of something that is hidden. But no luck.But just info... is... contradictory information by the Oracle PL/SQL programming manual that (I've just came across this the other day, is the only reason I remember it) clearly states that he cares for white space.

Resonance noise coming from new Mac Pro
Hi all!
I picked up recently a late 2013 6 mac pro core. I once owned a mac Mini 4 core i7 model quiet whisper. I hooked all my cables similarly to the way I had with my mac Mini. Now the question is, when im downloading with download accelerator or transfer files in both feel between my server, I can hear sound coming from my new Mac Pro resonance frequency. This only happens when im connected by ethernet. If I disable ethernet and use wifi, this noise is more audible! Is this a common problem! My new Mac Pro would already have problems!

There was an initial report of a noise called "Reel whining", launched by the power under certain conditions.
Those who could demonstrate the problem got their power supplies replaced under warranty.
Of course, those who have done nothing and waited for the next version of the software solve the problem have nothing except maybe a headache.
If this is a NEW Mac Pro, back at the origin of the seller ASAP. If you purchased at Apple in the United States, you can get the unit replaced with 14 days of receipt - the Genius Bar or you local Apple authorized service provider.
If others, it becomes a problem to repair.

Hello, I am experiencing problem with ReadyNAS 2100
I made an update of the operating system to last my 2100 has frozen after startup

NET 10 W377g becomes hot during charging or when accused close to battery.
My W377g 10 Net is really hot when plugged in to recharge. Also, it gets very hot after I charge a battery in another phone, then put it in the W 377 g. Could it blow up, what can I do?

Yes. MY problem is solved. Company and I got the replacement unit successfully.
Note: If you have a lot of software installed, especially of VMs on your current laptop, so my personal advice would be to get the repaired unit, I came across the problem to reactivate the license think little software, I do several facilities and refuse activation. However after talking to the licensing issue has been resolved, but it consumes a lot of time.
However, if the activation of the license is not a problem for you then unit replacement is better.

PS. but in the new laptop also, I always get a little tic noice when I open and close the laptop from the left hinge. That is why I it opens very slowly. I have just pray and hope that it does not break. because I get 2nd replacement.
