  Hi, I have recently buy a Mini 5101 it comes with XP Pro and Vista Business... I currently have Vista Business installed on it. I wonder about the process of upgrading to windows 7. On the free upgrade Web site it is said that the operating system can be upgraded to windows 7, according to the weather, I have vista (upgrade straigh) or xp (must be a stable cleaning). Now, my question is can I perform a clean installation with this upgrade? I know that normally you can perform a clean install via the insertion of the disc of the previous operating system media during installation, but as the Min 5101 is a netbook (no cd drive) I will probably install it via a USB key. It is very important for me to have a clean install.

  On the upgrade Web site, it says that if you are using XP pro, you must perform a clean installation. It would be better for me to install XP now order the update, and then install Vista so that I can get the version that will allow me to perform a clean installation - or I'd get the same disc anyway?

  I have a laptop HP Compaq 6370b, S/N [number of Series edited by Moderator] running Win XP and plan on running a new install for Win 7 Pro 32 bit. I have upgraded the BIOS (as suggested by the forum) at F.20 on 16/12/2014 and reviewed messages on the partition for HP tools. My question is when I format the existing HHD I must add a partition for the HP tools? A response by Dragon fur message leads me to believe that the download and installation of HP tools UEFI create a folder on the operating system drive and I would not require an additional partition.  Thanks for your help.

  My question is based on 1 single step in installing vCenter. The part of the installation that I have a question about is the destination directories. In this step, it gives you the option to use the default directory or change the directory where the server vCenter Server is installed. Then just below that is the ability to change the directory data for the vCenter Server server are installed too. My question is when he says data do you mean virtual machines? I ask because I have little space to work with the vCenter Server alone. If the data for the vCenter server means computer virtual vhd then I can change that to a SAN that has at least 5-6 to a value space.

  The vCenter Server allocates any virtual machine inside the disks.

  This means installation vCenter only data. You point where the virtual machine is preserved when you create a new virtual machine (normally on storage)

• First time to install Question

  I am doing my first bare metal installation and I got myself confused.

  I have a new Dell with a Perc H710 server and I downloaded the ISO of ESXi 5.5 1 cumulative hotfix driver 2 (includes the VMWare tools). I also downloaded the Perc adapter driver file megaraid_sas - 06.803.52.00 - 1742752.zip, because the H710 did not appear in the PDF which goes hand in hand with the ISO.

  The instructions for the Perc driver said to copy the VIB on the ESX Server. But how does the installation if the Perc drive must be installed?

  So I guess my real question is what is the correct process to follow to install ESXi on my server?

  Hello everyone.

  I searched the threads and can't find anything that relates directly to the questions that I have.

  I'm trying to download PS & LR on my second machine. First LR & PS downloaded perfectly on my desk.

  Now, I am trying to download on Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

  Initially downloaded relatively easy application manager. Then PS loaded at 42%, as others have mentioned. I had nothing else open at a time.

  I tried several methods to try to make it work.

  I have disconnected and reconnected. I tried directly from the Adobe CC Desktop Apps page.

  Today, in another attempt, I uninstalled the application manager. Now I can't even to load. I put install, came back two hours later and always around 75% and did not move after another 20 minutes.

  I noticed that he was trying to download 32 Bit where my system is 64 bit do not know if this is the problem. ?

  Any ideas or help would be most appreciated.

  Thanks to those who responded.

  My problem was that I wasn't getting all error messages, and in the end, I couldn't even download the application manager. for other threads have been unfortunately useless. I tried something a little different. I took the 3 pro surface and he sat next to wireless router where I knew he would get excellent connection. That resolved my problems. Now, I have PS, LR, BR downloaded on my second machine. It ended up being a connection slow speed after all that. If someone else is having the same issues, may also give this a go.
