  I'm doing a script in 11 tiara which takes the maximum value of the first 50 channels and puts these 50 values in a new channel.

  I first tried the ChnPeakFind command, but it is creating too many new channels.

  So I resorted to the ChnPropValGet (Group/channel, "Maximum") command.

• CAN frame channel Conversion Library - add new channel will not convert on channel

  I hit a roadblock with the Conversion CAN frame v1.0.2 channel library.  I don't think I properly use the 'Add New Channel' vi because it always causes the frame on the canal to fail.  The channel to the conversion of image works fine.  I joined the Panel front and a simple example block diagram.  This VI returns the following error during the conversion of the chassis on the channel:

  Error 8702 is produced to convert image to Channel.vi

  Possible reasons:

  A call to the library met with a null pointer.
  Ensure that all entries in the VI have a valid value.
  In the case of tables, make sure the table is not empty.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  This issue is resolved by upgrading to the Conversion CAN Frame Channel 1.0.3 library and place the frchconvlib.dll file in the C:\Windows\system32 directory.

  If Vista is preinstalled on your OLD computer, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

  The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
  You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

  If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
  But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

  A single license is a single Installation.

  If it is a retail Vista license, read the information on the clean install and then reactivate it:

• Data guide new channels are not

  My cable co has added a few new channels about two months ago. I've added new channels to the guide, but the data don't download the guide.

  Any thoughts?

  Thanks for the replies. It turns out that I looked at the guide today and all new channels are now here without input from me. I guess the system just finally caught up.

• Directory disappeared when I copied the directory to the new machine

  I bought a new computer and was moving files from one to the other. I copied an entire directory - subdirectories and files - on the map, and then copied that data on the new machine. The original computer runs Vista. The new computer running Windows 7.

  When I did this, the directory has been eliminated from drive C visible on the original Vista machine. So I tried to overthrow: all that the copy of the new machine back to the existing one. When I did, the existing machine informed me that the files that I had to put on her already existing. I could not just see them. That's nice!

  So, I tried a search in Windows Explorer for files that I knew. Do they not appear unless I did a 'Advanced' search and checked the box "Include non indexed files hidden and system (slower). They came, and so did the directory that I had tried to find.

  This leads me to think that I should re - index the first machine, which is something that I discovered clicking around. However, I'm a little scared of this and thought I'd better ask first.   Win7 has its mysteries.

  Here are a few things to try:

  option 1 - type the address in the address bar in the Solution Explorer and see if the invisible folder will appear again on the list of folders.

  -If Yes, then sometimes the case will resume on the list of files.

  -also check its properties and see if the folder attributes are set to 'hidden '.  you could try to switch the hidden on and out attribute to see if it committed the file to be seen again.

  workarounds are:

  option 2 - create a new folder on the drive as MyFiles and copy the contents of that unstable.  then delete this unstable, c:\files.   If it is still not visible by the browser, then try the delete command via the console drive prompt.

  option 3 - create a shortcut of desk top of the page with the address in the unstable folder which will give you quick access

  option 4 - create a new folder, as MyFiles and copy your files to another computer.

  If your hard drive of your laptop doesn't have? If this is the case, what do you mean by the "recovery partition is ok? I doubt that this laptop has two hard disks, so if you are able to see this partition of your hard drive may still work.

  You will need a set of recovery disks to restore the partitions on the new drive. If you can start Windows, which you can probably not with a dead hard drive, you can follow these steps if you can get into Windows.

  If you are unable to boot into Windows, you need a set of disks. You can order it directly from HP. The number of the United States / Canada is 1-800-474-6836. If you are in another domain, you must visit HP's Support around the world to find contact information for your region.

• Half of the blades fell when creating a new channel of uplink port?

  I have a pair of 6248UP fiber interconnection (A and B) with blade servers connected. The switch upstream is Nexus7k. Fabric A and B each right has now a channel of uplink port to the Nexus switch upstream. I add a new Nexus switch to connect to the interconnection of fiber. The plan is to have uplink some VIRTUAL networks for Nexus one pass and uplink some VIRTUAL to the second Nexus switch networks.

  After that I configured the new Nexus switch with a channel port (only allowing some VIRTUAL networks) and corresponding port created on fabric channel A and B, new ports-channels have increased. However, half of the blade servers were down after that. What could be the reasons for this problem? Is it because half of the blades have been pinned dynamically on the new channel port, but the new port-channel side Nexus allow only some VIRTUAL networks?

  Is there a way to configure the Channel ports on fiber to interconnect with only the trunk through some VIRTUAL networks? for traffic from the server would not be sent to the port-channel where VLAN server is not allowed?

  In general, all NICs for/vhba of a fabric are declining, if all uplinks of this fabric are declining.

  It's not clear to me, what you're trying to achieve?

  If you create a global VLAN (for the two fabrics), this vlan is automatically inserted in all dependent North trunk links, unless you configure a leaking installation

  Create a new vlan on UCS requires of course also this vlan is created on the switch connection and vpc by default allows all the VLANS. Could it be, that the vlan not appeared on the switch and was therefore not upward on the trunk?

  Hello Cinna,

  You found since the OEM copy of Windows cannot be transferred to another computer, and, unfortunately, there is no work around either.

  If you are going to build your own PC, then I suggest a full commercial copy (not an upgrade) of the operating system rather than an OEM. At least, with a retail copy it can be transferred to a new machine providing that you remove the copy from the old machine.

  Although, when I buy a new PC, the machine is supplied with a copy OEM I always buy a commercial copy to allow me to move the operating system to a new computer should all arrive at the older one. Plenty of retail copies are more expensive, but worth the extra expense, especially if, like me, you're updating your computer regularly.
