Copy of slow files under Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

System is very slow when the copy of the files. The dialog box "Donostiarra" is for a very long time. Everytime I open a folder there is a green bar which crosses the address as it is scanning, that takes a lot of time as well. Looks like that has happened to Vista and I was able to disable something that allowed a quick copy of files. Anyone know a fix for this problem in Windows 7.

    Hello Nathan Sokalski,.

For now, I suggest that you need to find 3rd party options to be able to view PSD thumbnails.

I recommend that send you feedback to Microsoft about the lack of this feature in Windows 7.
    http://mymfe.Microsoft.com/Windows%207/feedback.aspx?formid=195

The feedback is read and discussed.

This is a thread about this on the Adobe forums.

It is the only solution I can offer at the moment.

  • Validy sensor driver works only under Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on my laptop. I also installed prints software digital persona Digita and other drivers and software. No error message appears. Just a window comes up with a blue bar showing that it is installed. That's all. I can also see it as installed in the control panel. But nothing more happens. The fingerprint reader detects any fingerprints. What can be the reason of this problem and how can I solve this problem?

    Hi John,.

What is the brand and model of the computer?

Check if the scanner is working properly in Device Manager.

To do this, follow these steps:

    a. on the desktop, press the Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc and press enter to open the Device Manager.

    b. Expand human interface device and right click on the driver.

    c. select Properties , and then check to see if the device works properly under Device Status.

Is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside, then it indicates that there are some problems with it.

I suggest you to follow these steps to update the driver to scan finger print and check.

    a. press the Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc and press enter.

    b. search for Devices of Interface and expand it.

    c. make a right click on the fingerprint scanner driver and Update driver software.

    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)

  • HP 2000 Vision: D1E80UA #ABA: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit drivers for network cards

Upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on a laptop HP 2000 Vision. Lost Wi - Fi connectivity. No recognized network card. Go: Device Manager: NO network card. No drivers for: Ethernet controller; Network controller; PCI device; SM Bus controller. Downloaded HP all software and drivers for: network drivers. Downloaded: Drivers for Ralink (HP) network on their Web site. The same problem. Need help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Karl.

    You are the very welcome.

You need these drivers for the remaining devices...

    Ethernet controller:

This package contains the Realtek driver local area network (LAN) that allows the NIC (NIC) Realtek chip in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported.

    File name: sp56680.exe

    PCI device:

This package contains the driver that allows the Realtek card reader in laptop models running a supported operating system. The card reader allows users to read or write to removable storage cards supported, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players and cell phones.

    File name: sp64801.exe

Don't forget to install the graphics driver.  That rarely comes as a missing device, but if you see a standard vga adapter that is listed under the category of display device manager cards, this means that you need to install the graphics driver.

This package provides the AMD graphics driver high definition (HD) and Catalyst Control Center for models of laptop computers that are running an operating system supported. For laptops equipped with switchable graphics modes, this package contains the drivers for the two graphics (GPU). Switchable graphics allow users to switch between a graphical power mode (normally used under the power of the battery) and a mode of graphics performance. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

    File name: sp58617.exe

  • Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit usb. Where can I get?

I plan on building a new pc for games. I have windows 7 ultimate, 64-bit. I don't really want to buy a DVD player, so I'm going with a USB method. I looked around. and many people have found a good one. I have, but can't find one Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit. I looked on Amazon, Newegg, google. I can't find anywhere. If you know where I can get it. Please reply with the link. Thank you!

What do you mean by only Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit?  As far as I know Microsoft provides only a copy 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 edition specific or iso discs. Microsoft has stopped selling copies of Windows 7 from Microsoft Store so, you buy and download the iso file from any other store or Web site. You can either purchase a license to retail or OEM. OEM license includes a single disk with a single architecture. To know the difference between selling retail and OEM copies check this post: what is the difference between Windows 7 retail and OEM?

Visit this page to know how to burn Windows to USB and make it bootable: How to make a Bootable USB

If you encounter an iso file, then you can mount it by selecting open with Windows Explorer which only works with Windows 7 or superior ortherwise you can extract iso with an extraction software.

  • Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version won't complete installation

This one is makes me crazy, everything first, here are the specs of the system on which I'm trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version:

    Core 2 Extreme QX9650

    Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6

Patriot Viper 4GB DDR3 1800 Dual Channel Kit

    Gigabyte GV - R4870X2 Radeon HD 4870 X 2 2 GB video card

    Zalman 850W PSU

    1 WD Raptor HD 320

    WD 640GB HD 1

Now the problem, I had been running Vista Ultimate on the above system and I built a new system I put Windows 7 64 bit on and I liked it well enough to spring for another copy of the 64 bit version of Windows 7. I backed up all my files on an external hard drive and put it on the side to ensure the guard. I then install the new OS of all wipe out to get a clean installation fee. Everything was moving along fine until it came to the point where it was finished installing where it seemed to hang for a while but it was finally restarted, but from there he should have me screens for the key code and my info to enter but I got was a black screen and yet my cursor was there and I could move around. I waited a bit and nothing past that was far from the ease with which it is installed on my new build. I restarted and it took me to the screen where you can choose to start windows in safe mode or normal mode, I tried both ways. Only, he went up and then stopped. I thought that maybe I had a damaged disc, so I got out my new computers Windows disk to see if it would install and I thought that if that was the case I had a damaged disc, but he did the same thing as the disc I tried first. Then I went back to my Vista disk and this 'thing' installed as there was nothing for her. Needless to say I'm stumped on this one.

Any ideas on what I should try next?

I should have gotten back sooner, but I finally got the problem fixed. I went to a new ATI video card a 5500 series and Windows 7 installed without a hitch. I downloaded the latest driver for cards in time, and it has been fine since. I hooked it up to my HDTV via a HDMI cable, so I can watch the DVD and Blu - ray movies. It works like a charm. Problem solved.

  • Hello, I currently windows 7 Home premium 64-bit running on my laptop, can I install windows 7 ultimate 32 bit over this as an upgrade? I have the ultimate disc then, how do I use it? Thank you, Mark.

I am running windows 7 Home premium 64 bit on my laptop. I have a disc of windows 7 ultimate 32 bit, is it possible to upgrade to the ultimate disk, if so, how, if not how do I use the ultimate disc? Thank you very much, Mark.

No, you can't, but if its Windows 7 Ultimate you want, simply use the Windows 7 Ultimate product key to upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate using Anytime Upgrade.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

Cases of failure to upgrade Express:

    Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade fails:

If your getting the following: error: Windows Anytime Upgrade failed

Windows Anytime Upgrade fails with the error:
"every time that the upgrade has failed. Go online to solve the problem.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2658652

If Anytime Upgrade still does not work:

I want to do some development C++ on WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 32 bit and I would like to use

  • Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit to 64 bit?

Doing some research, I found that a 32-bit license can be used to install a 64-bit Win7 image, however, I have a bit of a unique situation I'd like to help the community to determine with certainty.

So here's my situation. While I was a student at the University, the bookstore selling copies of windows 7 32 bit for $7. The licenses could be used on 3 systems, so I installed a copy on my desktop and 2 laptop. I don't know if this would be considered a "detail" or "OEM" licenses, so help thinking that out would be great. Also, the disk that it does not say that it is a 32-bit version of 'upgrade', however, I used to do complete installs of Windows on these 3 computers.
Recently, I entered the recording of music and the need to come to my office to a 32-bit install on a 64-bit. I'm not able to go buy a new copy of Windows 7, so I'm being downloaded a disk image of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit which I hope my permit 32-bit from the disk called "upgrade" can be used to activate a 64 bit version of the operating system.
So, if anyone has information about how I can deactivate the license on the computer I have to reinstall Windows on so that I can use it to activate the 64-bit install would be great.
    Thanks for the help.

Just install the copy of 64-bit on the machine with the existing product key. You will need to ensure that it is withdrawn from the other machine in which it is installed. You will need to reactivate by phone:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.
