  I have the same problem, but I get annoyed with unnecessary responses.

  Copy / paste does not work, do not ask what program, copy and paste them is not a program. If I try and copy and paste all using Explorer windows google chrome inside a word processor, Notepad or elsewhere, that it does not, oh some also said have you tried another mouse? It has nothing to do with the mouse, sometimes I use ctrl + c ctrl + v, which is not the mouse but still no copy paste.

  I want to put in place a "build mini-server' for our team. Since VMware Player is not taken in charge more I had to use VMware Workstation, and with some success, I put things up. But now more and more surface of trouble!

  To enable auto-start for the virtual machines, they must obviously be "shared." But it looks like, with this, the nuisance that these virtual machines cannot share folders more with the host. And also, it seems that copy and paste does not work with these "shared VMs.

  Is there a work around to get these features also works with 'shared VMs?

  It is VERY annoying and tedious to always have to these VMs to shuttle between shared and non-shared mode just to be able to transfer data or new versions of code for them!

  Guest operating system in question: Windows 2008 R2 x 64 Standard

  I can't copy or paste the invited vSphere with vCenter client host and vice versa.   I'm provisioning virtual machines from a template.  Basically, I converted a virtual machine into a template and used with the Customization Wizard to supply the new virtual machine.   I imported an unattend.xml file in the Customization Wizard.   VMware tools is installed.

  I googled and found that the inability to copy and paste inside the guest OS is a default behavior for 4.1.  So I followed the work and edited the file/etc/vmware/config with the following two lines and restarted the virtual machines.

  insulation. Tools.Copy.Disable = "false"

  insulation. Tools.Paste.Disable = "false"

  No chance!

  Then, I created a new virtual machine from scratch and attached the VMDK from the former VM.  Now I can copy and paste without problem.  So, it seems that the customization process is the culprit.   I can't create virtual machines from scratch.  How can I use my template to provision VMs without the problem of copy/paste?

  A restart of the host is not required, it is the virtual machine that needs to restart.

  What you need to do is to power off the virtual machine and then put the new one. Not just restart the guest operating system.

  If this does not work, thanks for posting the vmware.log file of the virtual machine file.

  Lately when I try to copy / paste my documents to my email address or my writing site, I get the message that there was a mistake and did a restart of the computer.  I can copy fine, but when I paste I get the error message.  It is very annoying, because I am a writer and have to be able to copy my articles from my documents and paste to my site window in writing.  Nobody knows why I'm suddenly not able to do it, and can help you please?  No articles = no money...

• First CC 2014 - effects of copy/paste does not keep the stacking order

  As long as I remember first seems no honor or maintain the stacking order of the effects when you copy them from one clip to another. It is an absolutely huge issue as most people hone their audio and video effects on a clip of sample and then copy it to the other. But what is the point of this process, if the command paste rearranges the order of the stack of effects!

  For example, I usually use dynamic effects, EQ and Volume on my audio to add some compression and level my audio. Levels the dynamics takes as "input" is very important, so the effects of EQ and Volume are usually piled on after the results of the dynamic has spat. However, when I copy and paste my perfect order and parameters, dynamic still falls to the bottom of the battery that produces a very different audio result.

  Then I need to individually move the dynamic effect, return to the top of the pile on every single clip I pasted my settings from. It is a really horrible bug/oversight. While on the topic of bugs, when you add the 'Volume' to a favorite custom location effect, it seems not be able to be applied here on subsequent reboots of first.

  Or did I miss something in the process of copy/paste now regarding the stack of effects?

  Exactly how do you copy and paste effects? Have you tried the Paste attributes command? How do you save a preset effects and which apply to the other elements?

  I met a weird problem while working on 6 Captivate. I have a few items in my screens like, click box, text box, text entery and etc etc. And now I want to copy these standard objects for all other screens in my project. When I select all items and right-click > copy, it seems that it is copied. But when I switch to display desired and make right click > paste or press Ctrl + V, looks like it's been stuck somewhere, but not visible on the screen

  And this is the case most of the time but not always. I've tried restarting the app, reboot the system mmee, erase the folder hidden % tem. But nothing seems to work. It mite work tomorrow morning... You never know .

  Whenever it is long to set the properties of an object for each slide. So copy paste is a must.

  Can any that relate to this question a little bit and give me a few entries?

  After the update my Captivate 6 6.1, I have over this problem.

  Apparently, it seems, the simulations built in 6.1 captive and reopened 6 Captivate for editing, do not allow copying pastng business.

  Turn off Transition formula evaluation and transition formula options.

  In Office 2003:
  1. tap on tools of-> Options...
  2. Select the Transition tab
  3 deselect the following entries:
  -The transition formula evaluation
  -Seizure of the formulas of transition
  4. click on OK
  5. repeat the above steps for each worksheet in the workbook, selecting each in turn and repeating steps 1 through 4.

  In Office 2007:
  1. tap on the Office button
  2. click on Excel Options
  3. Select Advanced (left) Options
  4. in the right pane, scroll down to the bottom
  5. under Lotus dethrone the compatibility settings, disable the option:
  -The transition formula evaluation
  -Seizure of the formulas of transition
  6. Select the following worksheet in the menu drop-down
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all the worksheets have been processed
  8. click on OK.

  If you paste a file into a folder that already has a file with the SAME file name, you will be informed and asked to choose one of the following:
  1. do not copy
  2. copy and replace those already on file
  3. copy and keep both.

  Perhaps, you have chosen the 3rd weight?
