Corel Draw 10 problems.

In Corel Draw 10, before if I typed a line of text and then duplicated to try another police, it worked fine.

Now, when I do that, it shows only 2 fonts and are not what I wanted. I have to see several different fonts, so type each line of TB in a different front from the outset. The Major pain.
Also cut and paste no longer work in Corel Draw 10. In my opinion, Windows 7 is one of the worst operating system Microsoft
made since the days of DOS 3.3.
Do not suggest to make me more recent cooy Corel, newer versions will not work with what we're doing now. I use Corel 10

Possible installation in Compatibility Mode (if you haven't) will help although it would be preferable

  • I have a problem with the display of text on Corel Draw X 3 after installing a Windows Update.

    Hi all

No, not so much a question, but I thought I'd post here because it can help others.

I used Corel Draw X 3 yesterday (12/12/12) to make a simple business card text only. Today - the file open and something is there, but the text is invisible. Further investigation revealed that this affected all fonts and Type 1 fonts from OTF, TTF fonts are immune to the problem.

What has changed between yesterday and today? A Microsoft update that I shut down the computer last night. I uninstalled the update via Add/Remove Programs, and the problem was solved.

Any suggestions as to who should I report this problem?

    Hello

Seems that the really graphic driver does not support the version of Corel Draw
In my opinion, you need to update the graphics driver. If you already have the last version, I guess you have to wait until the new version is released.

But have you contacted support from Corel Draw? Do it!

  • Error: "the patch cannot be installed by the Setup program because the program is missing" during installation and Service Pack 2 for Corel Draw X 3.

original title: corel draw X 3 need a file to upgrade to work and will not install Windows install. I am running XP

Windows Installer won't install Corel Draw X 3 patch for Corel SP1 and SP2.  Corel X 3 was released at the end of the 1980s, well before updates from Microsofts SP.

These files are patches for the X 3 program and have nothing to do with Microsoft SP 1, 2 and 3.

The error that gives the installer of windows, is that the patch cannot be installed by the installer, because the program is missing (which is not the case) or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program, (which he did... this fix is designed especially for the X 3 only and is in fact the upgrade for him.)

It says to check that I have the program on my computer and I have the appropriate fix. (What I'm doing.)
    NOTE:
Last week I had to remove Corel X 3 from my computer and re-install. After that, I couldn't get the patch installed, and it needs those 2 patches to work properly.

I am running XP Pro with MS Service pack 3 on my computer.  I have Intel pentium 4, 2944 usable Mg 300Ghz installed memory 266,80 GB of free space on 2 hard drives.

Another site said a faulty windows installer can cause "out of memory" errors and has spent in Corel Draw so I deleted and reinstalled as I've mentioned above. Any ideas on how to get this installed?  Hope you can help, I don't know where to turn to the next if not. Corel does not support this program because of his age. I can't afford to update at the moment so I have a problem here. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Been away in a few days. Just in case anyone else has this problem, I found the answer. It's one of those moments DUHHH.

If you use the version of Corel Draw X 3 13.0.0.739, there already = sp1 and sp2 patches and pre-installed horfix.

Should check that the first step, but I thank you

  • Can't Pin To Start a shortcut of Corel Draw 11

    Hey there

I installed my copy of Corel Draw 11 on my new laptop that is running 8.1 Win.

I want to pin the shortcut to the start screen.

When I right click on the shortcut, it does not show pine To Start optional.  All the other normal options are there, except this one.

    No idea why?

A way to solve this problem?  I tried to just create a shortcut and copy the original shortcut properties, but that opens the folder where the program lives, instead of actually launch this program.

I use the current trial of Acrobat DC version. I opened a PDF I created in Corel Draw by publication in PDF format. I tried to copy and paste text from it to a Word 2007 document. The copy option was available, but when I went to the document and chose paste, it was nothing. I then tried the same thing but sticking in a document of Corel. The same problem. It seems that the text has been copied, but I'm unable to paste it into another program. Is this real?

Is it permanently available text? (Can highlight you)?

This seems a strange way of working well - why not copied from the draw to Word?

I need to save a CMYK image in a format that I can import into Corel Draw.  There are only a few options of file type.  The only one I could do the work is eps.  I had no experience with this format.  If I save a file in eps format and import it in Draw likely losses in the image as it was in PS?

The only one I could do the work is eps.  I had no experience with this format.  If I save a file in eps format and import it in Draw likely losses in the image as it was in PS?

Bitmap EPS image is wrapped around with a bit of extra data TIFF file or a JPEG, depending on what compression option you choose. There is therefore no loss due to compression in the first case, but of course used for the second. As to why CorelDraw does not import other formats correctly, is unclear, but it is sure that more of a problem on their end - a picture is an image, only how it is treated and processed varies.

  • How to change the settings for help on using Corel Draw 7

In windows 7. -Pop-up help screen. A real nusance

whenever I try to use my program corel draw a box windows 7 help and support of pop. How to do that I need help and support, I know the program very well stop

    Just an idea

What is Windows help & support window suggesting that you download the program hlp old format?

If so, it indicates that Corel Draw is trying to tell you something with its start-up system [might well be generated by an error condition as Corel Draw 7 is not recognized as compatible Windows 7] and Windows recognizes that it would be necessary to get this old hlp format help system to be able to show you what the app is trying to tell you.

Allowing Windows to download & install this old help system would be the only way to get rid of the pop-up window.  And then you'd be able to see what Corel Draw was trying to tell you.

In the end, I suspect that you may need to upgrade to a later version. There is the alternative of a Virtual PC solution. To do this, you must either XP mode on Windows 7 (available for Windows 7 Pro and above.) Download from Microsoft Download pages).
