Corrected name of the host server

I got the notice that ' the host 'SMTP is not found. " Apparently some time back I inadvertently changed the name of the server, selecting from a list and not knowing the consequences. I sent 4 months never email Windows because of this and can not use the Windows mail to in another program.  How can I know a) my real name of the server and b) go back to where I need to solve this problem.

I think I also need to know the correct account, Protocol, Port etc.  How and where can I find out what they are supposed to be so that I can confirm that they are entered appropriately in order for Windows Mail work. I'm sick think CVS job several that did not get through without my knowledge.

Please post the error message in its entirety. You can left click on it to highlight then right click to copy and then paste in this thread.

You know the name of your server? What is your address after the sign @? Who should you pay every month to access the Internet? Have you asked their tech support for account settings correctly?

    There are several ways in which it can be done. However, the exact way depend on the platform and the method you prefer. Here are a few options:

    OPTION 1:_
    Create a variable in default.env which contains the host name. For example:

    Host name = myMachine

    In your form, you can retrieve this value by using the following:

    TOOL_ENV. GetVar ("HOSTNAME", unevariable);

    OPTION 2:_
    Get the information from view V_$ SESSION. Needed to use this method, users CHOOSE to view or you can create your own. For example, something like this:

    Declare
         the_host     varchar2(255);
         this_user     varchar2(255);
    Begin
         this_user := GET_APPLICATION_PROPERTY(USERNAME);
         select distinct machine into the_host from v$session where username = this_user and program LIKE 'frmweb%';
         MESSAGE (the_host);
    End;

    OPTION 3:_
    Import the necessary java into your application and call it to retrieve the host name. There are many examples of java code on the Internet.

    http://www.Google.com/search?q=Java+get+hostname

    Be sure to compile the code using the version of java used in the version of the application server that you are using. Here are the versions of java:

    10.1.2 application server: use JDK 1.4.2
    Server applications (FMw) 11.1.1: use JDK 1.6.0

    If you try to compile the java with a newer version than the version used by the Oracle Home, your code may not work correctly or may not import correctly into the form.

    There are probably many other ways to accomplish what you want. I hope this helps :)

    I think we confuse you.  ESX server is running like a machine virtual within the workstation, correct?  If Yes, then you must edit the vmx esx server with these entries monitor configuration file *.  They can go anywhere in the file.  Once those have been added, you should be able to run 32-bit virtual machines within the esx server.

    My ISP changed the name of the mail server. There is no way to change this in Mail (El Capitan).

    I see not where do under preferences: accounts > incoming mail server, but it is grayed out. How can I change this? I don't mind editing a file. The obvious answer "Delete the account and add a new charge" seems all brain-numbingly stupid, especially because we USED to be able to edit this field! Not sure when it changed.

    You're in the wrong place.  Go to System Preferences > accounts Internet and select the appropriate account.  Click on the DETAILS button and you should find the server info.

  • How to change the name of the weblogic Server

    Hello world!

    I followed a weblogic server. Now I want to change the name of this server

    \

    What should I do?

    THX!

    Most clients choose not to monitor WebLogic AdminServer, as this JVM does not normally process applications the user.

    While the X-Agent showing your screenshot application servers are normally named and grouped using the agent configuration, WebLogic servers are normally named after the WebLogic configuration. The best practice would be to change the name of the app server in WebLogic, but you can probably change this name by using a setting of additional agent:

    -Dquest.agent.appserverinfo = MyAppServer

    This setting has additional options to set the type of application server, the version and the group.

    Hello

    Looking for a little help, I question the result of a get - vm of the. Run to find the name of the host to a virtual machine runs on. All I seem to get is the host id that is a number.

    Y at - it an option in the GET - vm, which displays the name of the host, or is it possible to remove the name of the host from the value of the provided host id.

    What I want to do is the following:

    Enter a name for the virtual machine, hop on the host his race, ask the host for its groups of ports available, introduce an option of these groups of ports and when you enter the name, set the Group of ports of entry. Without the actual host name I can't find it.

    $vm = get - vm $selectedVM | Get-opinion

    Any help on this would be really appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi Dan,.

    You can retrieve the host name by using the Get-VMHost cmdlet

    $selectedVM = read-host "Enter VM Name"
    $vmhost = Get-VMHost -VM (Get-VM -Name $selectedVM) | Select-Object Name
    $runhost = $vmhost.Name

  • Change the name of the report server?

    I installed Oracle Application Server as_windows_x86_forms_reports_101202 on Windows XP. Any body can tell me:
    1. how to change the name of the report server
    2 configure the path of the application folder that contains the reports.

    Hello
    You want to change the name of your current report server? There is no automatic way of this fact. You will need to manually change the relevant files

    1. stop the opmn.
    $ cd $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin
    $ opmnctl stopall

    2. stop the EM console.
    $ cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
    $ emctl stop iasconsole

    3. change the $ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf/rwservlet.properties file:
    Of
    SERVER =
    TO
    SERVER =

    4. make a backup of $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/emd/targets.xml.

    5. change the current process in entrances to report since the replacement of targets.xml file server: former name of report server with the new name of report server

    6. restart opmn.
    $ cd $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin
    $ opmnctl startall

    7 restart the EM console.
    $ cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
    $ emctl start iasconsole

    8 - if the report server works well, you can remove all the files associated with the old name as: old reports name.conf and .../reports/logs/old reports Server server name / *. *

    I have yet to your second question. If you want to make a default path for all your reports to ensure that you have the entry for the entire site of reports in the REPORTS_PATH environment variable.

    a. UNIX, we find this variable in the reports.sh file

    b. in windows, this variable can be found in the registry.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you
    Anand

  • Contact form works on the host server, but not the Web Page

    I created my first site with CS6. I decided to throw a contact form, so I went to my host providesr, Network Solutions, which has a Wizard for a contact form. I used the wizard to create a contact form. When I access the page on the Host Site for Network Solutions, the contact page is formatted with colors, I chose and it works correctly. Declined, I hit Submit, the message is sent to the approprate address.

    I used the GET function to bring the new page of my local site and then synced it with the real Web site. The formatting, I've created on the server host does not appear, but the Contact form is on the Web site I created in all white. Fill the fields of the form, but when I click on the botton to SUBMIT, a dialog box appears saying it does not find the Web page.,.

  • Name of the host through a file

    I am looking for a way to find the name of a host through a file. Here's what I mean. I have a few hard drives removed old computers, but we forgot to label the machines that they have been removed. Now, we need to know which hard drive is what computer, but we do not have the original material, only hard drives.

    Does anyone know of any files that are created in the C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System32 folders that contain the host name of the computer while it has been initialized? I have the opportunity to read the files on the hard drives via a USB adapter.

    Thank you!

    Probably the most reliable is to scan the registry file.

    (1) copy of the file: \Windows\System32\config\system since the topic on your local hard disk drive)
    (2) launch Regedit (start-> Run-> 'regedit')
    (3) click on 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' to select
    (4): file-> load hive.  Then navigate to and select the "System" file that you copied from the external drive.
    (5) when it is required by a key name enter a name - I will use "EXT" for this example.
    6) double-click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, and you will see an "EXT" key under it.
    7) go to EXT\ControlSet001\Control\ComputerName\ComputerName
    (8) there should be an entry in the window on the right with the name of the computer.
    (9) for clean, click once on the "EXT" key to select then drop-> unload the hive.  Answer 'Yes' to the next box.

  • How to change the domain name on the host target

    Hello!

    I need to spend a couple of machines in a new area.

    Is it possible to change the field to a GC host or what I need to remove and add?

    / R

    Unfortunately, there is no good way to change the host name.   You can change the display name with EMCLI change the target, but below would be inaccurate, because it would still be the old domain.   Can you create a DNS alias so that it can still be used with the old domain?   Otherwise, delete and rediscover is the only way that I can see.

    You can use this to remove and readd without reinstallation:
