Correction of installation Photosmart Wireless with SSID of SigmaplusEOL1 problem

Hey,.

I have a Photosmart C4780. I have set up for a little wireless printing back and it worked fine. Recently, I had to reset my router for other reasons, which forced me to set up my printer wireless again.  But I can't too. First of all, I used the Setup Assistant that has been installed on the iMac when I previously installed it.  That did not work.  Then, I just uninstalled and tried to reinstall it back. I tried to implement wireless first. When defective, I tried to set up via USB, and then wireless, which still did not work. The problem I meet is during installation in the Setup Wizard, I get 'Select unit.' My printer is connected via USB, and it appears on the list of devices. I click on "Continue" and the following window is an option that says "Set up your device for a wireless network." I check the box and click "continue." The next window is 'Select Network'. And here the problem comes in. A message appears that says "Device not connected", even if it is clearly. I even tried not to connect the printer via USB until it says "Select Device." But I get the same result. Also, when I click 'OK' to the message, window "Select network" not said no "Wi - Fi network discovered."  I can't do anything on this subject. I tried to reset the settings of the printer, and the printer for 15 seconds unpluggin wireless to reset the printer as a whole. Still having the same problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I finally thought to it! (Sorry I'm answering my own posts btw, but I want to put the solution for someone else with the problem of SigmaplusEOL1). If you have the SigmaplusEOL1 as your SSID when you print the "wireless network Test report", you have NO need to come back (I know it's a hassle for people).  To resolve this issue, follow these steps.

(1) disconnect your printer.

2) go to your router's IP address (such as 192.168.1.1 or whatever it is for your router).

(3) replace the SSID of your wireless network with "SigmaplusEOL1".

(4) for the security option for your wireless network select None (of the sort that a password is not required to access your wireless network).

(5) Please turn your printer back and reprint "The wireless network Test report". It should say «No problem found...» »

(6) the report shall also give an IP address of the printer (under Configuration Summary below). Type this address into your browser to go to the printer setup page.

7) click on the 'Network' tab at the top.

(8) under the heading "Connections" in the left pane, click "Wireless (802.11).

9) click on "Start the Assistant" at the bottom right.

(10) in the wizard, edit (the SSID and encryption wep or wpsk) password that you want your network to be wireless. So probably everything what he started as before you changed the SSID to SigmaplusEOL1

11) click on 'Finish' at the end. The page will probably try to keep loading but it won't because you have changed the network settings on the printer. Just ignore that

(12) back to the IP address of your router and change the SSID and the encryption password for everything what you change printer SSID and password.

(13) reprint of the wireless network Test report. Admittedly, the SSID is the same as your wireless network, and everything is good.

That's all. You should be good to go now.

I want to configure my router for my SSID is not broadcast, because I think it's a logical step to take for increased security. I have not been able to do since I started using my new laptop Inspiron 5558. I tried this several times and every time I turn off the SSID broadcast, I am not able to connect to the Wi - Fi on this laptop. Other remote computers in my house and my smartphone connect without problem, but nothing I've tried helps my new computer Dell laptop to connect via Wi - Fi, except for allowing the SSID broadcast.

I have a router Actiontec MI424WR reverend E. I have installed the new driver and the Intel PROset utility and unfortunately nothing has changed. I went to the settings to investigate some of the other solutions offers, and I came across something that seems to have solved my problem. What I found in SETTINGS/network & Internet/change adapter options/Wi-Fi/see the status of my properties of connection/Wireless / on the connection tab, it was an uncontrolled area with the words "connect even if the network is not broadcasting its name (SSID). I checked this box, and since then, I was able to connect to my network wireless with SSID broadcast disabled. I will now call this resolved and if no new problems arise. start a new post. • Need help to set up: 2 different wireless with SSID 2 routers on the same network

    Hi all:

I read on the forum trying to find the answer to this question, but have not found a very clear answer that satisfies all my requirements autour.  An explanatiion more in depth.

I have 1 IP coming via cable modem.  I want to configure two wireless routers (one secured with WPA-TKIP and a non-secure network - a 'guest' If you want to) each with different SSID.  The secure network would be for my server, PC home, webcams IP, DynDNS, update; While having an unsecured wireless router that friends and family can access.  Ideally, I don't want any person who accesses the router unsecured wireless to access my secure network.

Is someone can you please tell me if this is possible.  I think that it is based on some posts, I've seen, but specific details about how to do this would be appreciated.  In addition, my DynDNS must always be able to be updated with the IP of my ISP so that I can access my server and webcams home.

    MATERIAL

    2 WRT54G

    1 EZXS55W

    1 WVC200

    1 WVC54GC

(all my stuff - webcam, dyndns, server, etc. - working on my secure network.) I just need to add the non-secure network)

I know it's a lot, but I'd appreciate any help.  Thank you.

You must be connected to the modem router WRT54G main. Set up the network secure on the main router wireless. Connect all of your computers or wireless devices for the main secure wireless network.

Consider that the IP address of the main router is 192.168.1.1.

Now connect a single computer to Port 1 on the second router wireless.

Open the second wireless router configuration page. Settings wireless SSID, unsecured.

Change the IP address of the second router 192.168.2.1. Save the settings.

Connect the cable from the Ethernet port on the main router to the Internet second port router wireless.

The second power cycle wireless router.

Now the host computers connected to the second network unsecured wireless Wireless will be able to access the Internet only. They will not be able to see the computers or devices connected to the first router.

  • C6180 print wireless with Cisco E1000 router problems

    Hello

I recently got a new Cisco E1000 wireless router and am not able to print to my HP C6180 printer wireless.  I ran the diagnostics wireless to the printer and all past.  The printer has an IP address, etc.  However, neither my wife nor I can print without wire (connected to the printer works) on its Apple or my PC.  She gets "the printer is offline.  I found an old post which has me download and install the diagnostic utility network HP but that the utility could not find all the printers and after tinkering with it I could get still not work.  I think the printer wireless radio is dead (but then how do I connect to the router and have an IP address, and go to the configuration utility) or the N wireless router is not compatible?  Or hopefully something we can fix.  Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Ross

If the printer has an IP address, then it must be connected to the router OK.  You've restarted the router?

We could define an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). Yours is 192.168.1.100 a.149.  Allows to select 192.168.1.200 for your printer.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first DNS. Let the second white.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

    Hi @Paulwrow,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are unable to connect your HP Photosmart Wireless B109n-z to your new router wirelessly. I'd be happy to see this with you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

The CD/DVD software will not work with newer versions of Mac OS X. HP doesn't have the drivers for this printer in Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan. The last driver out of this printer is for Mac OS X 10.6. The only driver available that uses the driver update from Apple. This causes a problem when reconfigure the wireless, as this is the software for help. It would be easier if you have another computer running an operating system that is supported so that you can install the full feature software to configure the wireless.

As an alternative method, you can try doing as a guideline to connect the wireless printer. We will use the ad-hoc connection. With the ad-hoc connection, you can launch the built-in web server (EWS) to access the wireless configuration wizard.

Use the following steps as a guide:
Restore the default settings of the network:

    1. Press the button next to the wireless Menu.
    2. Press the button next to wireless settings.
    3. Press the button next to network by default.

Once the network is reset, the printer should disseminate the ad hoc connection. It should look like "hpsetup" or "HP Setup (and part of the printer name or MAC address). With an IP address like 169.82.12.44.

Then, connect to the network printer, that is broadcasting.

    1. On the Mac in the upper right corner, click on the wireless icon and connect to the network "HP Setup" or "hpsetup".

    Print the wireless test report:

    1. Press the button next to Scan.
    2. Press the button next to the wireless Menu.
    3. Press the button next to wireless settings.
    4. Press the button next to run the wireless network Test.

Browse the test report wireless IPV4 of the printer (IP address) 169.82.12.44.

    1. Launch your internet browser and enter the IP as shown. This should load the printer EWS.
    2. Click on the tab network across the top.
    3. On the left side, click on wireless or network.
    4. Run the Wireless Setup Wizard.

This is the only way to reconfigure the wireless, unless you have another computer that has supported the software.

For more information on the ad-hoc connection, see the User Guide.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

Using the center of HP sollution, I see the message offline wireless HP Photosmart B109n-z.

However, I can print, I can see the cardriges levels filling and I have no problem to reach the printer via IP address.

However, this issue would prevent me from scanning documents.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there @robhoe

    Welcome to the community

It sounds to me like driver installation has not filled completely and correctly on your system Windows 8.1, which could be the reason why you do not have the scanning features in the software.

Please make sure you that the printer will make copies before make you any software troubleshooting, as if there is a problem copying (printer hardware problem), the installation will most likely never complete successfully.

I know you tried a scrubber, and that's what I would try again to remove completely all the components of your PC printers and then reinstall them later. If you want to give a shot of this, I'll post all the steps below for you to try!

1 run this cleaner tool to remove the printer files. Use only an uninstall of level 3.

HP Officejet software and driver removal utility

    2. restart the computer entirely to complete uninstallation.

    3. download and run the installation of your PS B109: HP Photosmart Wireless all-in-One Printer series - B109 Full Feature Software and Driver

I hope this works, good luck!

In addition, what are the specifications of the SD card? What memory capacities and classes it will support. The Toshiba product page is a bit light on the news.

I should add that the AT300 detects and connects to the SSID G without problem.

    Hello

To my knowledge the AT300 are equipped with a map of combo of WLan 11 b/g/n-BCM4330 of Broadcom support BT also.

As much I know as the standard 802.11 N can operate at 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz, but if the wireless network adapter does not support the standard 802.11, 802. 11 N would support only 2.4 Ghz
Should check this on your router.

I put t know any other details on the media slot because this slot will not support SD, SDHC and SDXC common cards.

HP Photosmart Wireless e-All-in-One Printer series - B110b

    Thank you

In the United Kingdom, the cartridges would be 364 series.  You can order black, cyan, magenta, yellow or pack combo with three cartridges.  The cartridge photo and four packs of color with the photo cartridge are not applicable for your printer.

You can also use the XL 364 cartridges, they have more ink at a higher price, but at a lower cost per page.
