"Could not connect to internet" Blackberry SDK (QNX Momentics IDE)

Hello

I'm looking to do a development of blackberry, but I can't get the SDK to update.  I get the message "Could not connect to" internet on the canvas when I start the SDK

I checked my firewall settings and I added manually to the qde.exe in the exceptions, but still no luck.  Has anyone encountered this before? I tried to go to: help-> update API levels and I get: "cannot download SDK information."  When I checked the error log, I noticed this message: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

My OS:

Windows 7 - Service Pack 1

8 GB Ram

I had to enter the proxy information in the Preferences tab (Window - Preferences, then general-> network connections).  After you restart the SDK it worked!

    OK, so here's the deal:

  • D7000 will not connect to internet after reinstalling

    Hello

We moved our D7000 modem router from one room to the other and now it does not connect to internet at all. I spoke with our ISP and everything is fine on their end. I connected the modem and reset our ISP connection & the password, and the ISP did the same thing, without effect. The phone line has been tested, it's ok. I swapped the cables to make sure that they are not defective. I moved the modem to return to the old location, but now it does not work there either.

WiFi seems to be ok and all our devices (phones, tablets, computer) recognize the wireless network and modem, but there is simply no internet connection. It is bizzarre! Nothing has changed, there is no new hardware, no updates or upgrades, the ISP is always the same, the only thing that differs is the location, in the same House.

The lights on the router modem are as follows:

    Food - white

    Internet - amber

    DSL - off

    WiFi - white

Any ideas what I could try to make it work again? Should I do a factory reset on it? This could be the cause? Move a modem do not stop working. We only had since November so it isn't old yet, and it has been working fine so far.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

It has been a while now, but I thought I would update this for anyone interested or affected by the same problem we did.

After weeks of back and forth with the ISP and try and test anything and everything we could think, including the replacement of the D7000 in store warranty (not just once but), and nothing is helping, the ISP finally filed a foul for us and sent a CET. And what do we know? There was a flaw in the riding of Telstra which he had found, and which caused our internet connection fails. After that which has been set, we are online again. The line still falls here and there and the phone line is cute, but at least we are connected.

And now I'm fighting with the ISP for refund during all these weeks we were disconnected while they refused to be a mistake for us and have someone out. Time for a new ISP, I think!

Hope this helps someone else with the same problem there.

    Thank you

  • Unable to connect to wireless networks more. ("Windows could not connect to (SSID)")

    Hello!

Something very strange is happening with my laptop (dv6-3060ee). Up to this day at noon, everything worked well, including the wireless network. So, I set my computer to Hibernate and came to the House of my parents. As I turn it on and try to connect to the wireless here, I can't. I get this error "Windows could not connect to (name of the network).

I'm on W7 Home Premium 64-bit and the card wireless in an Atheros 9285 b/g/n (model number can be a problem, I have it does not properly check).

    Things to consider:

-I don't know that this is not a router problem or hardware WiFi card because:

    1. I can connect to the router and get internet access on my phone and with the other computer normally.

    2. on the laptop, I can not connect to the network without wire inside W7, BUT with HP QuickWeb (this system of Opertaing before loading windows), I can normally connect to the network and access to internet.

-Have you ever tried, without success:

1 reinstall the driver for the wireless card / Unistalling the driver and install it again

    2. change the encryption on the router. (Even with no encryption I can't connect)

    3. of course, restarting the computer, turn off/on of the network card, reset the router

So, I'm sure it's a problem with Windows. I did some research here and in other places and other people seem to have the same problem, but I couldn't find any solution.

I didn't install any software today which could cause conflicts.

So, can someone help me, please?

    Thank you

Thank you for your help, but I'd already sorted.

The problem was really the driver, an update had been installed by the HP update program and it makes the device stop working. This problematic driver was March, I can't remember the version number.

I went to the Device Manager and pressed on "Roll Back Driver". Windows restored to an October/2009 driver, 8.0.0.238 version number, and now it works as it should.

  • ePrint Setup could not connect to the network

I have problem with my hp3515 all-in-one printer (two months). I am facing problem with ePrint. It has been installed correctly, but recently it has stopped working. HP wireless works and shows the IP address. When you press the ePrint button it gives the message that it could not connect to the internet. I tried to reconfigure ePrint and now it is not possible to reconfigure. I use a router D Link DSL-2750U.

    Hello

First, I put a static DNS on the built-in web server (EWS). To do this:

    1. Type (example 192.168.XXX.XXX) IP address by itself in the address bar of the browser. Who will bring to the top of the EWS page. From there, you want to find the network tab. On this page, find the column that is usually found on the left and select 'network' and then on the network address to find net page (IP), then select this option. Who will bring to the top of the configuration page.
    2. You want to draw attention to section 2 entitled "DNS Configuration". Change the radial button to "Manual DNS"; for filling of favorite/primary DNS 8.8.8.8; for the secondary/Alternative fill 8.8.4.4 and then select 'apply '.
    3. If a message appears after it with an "OK" button carefully read this message! Most of the time this message is to inform you to click OK to cancel the change you made, if that's the message of case ignore, you can simply navigate to another tab on the built-in Web server to get away.
    4. Power cycle then the printer and it should then connect to web services

As is printing wireless to other computers and static DNS should solve your problems of ePrint you would not need to uninstall at this stage.

To reprint the touch of info page the button marked 'ePrint' on the front panel of the printer and that should bring up an option on the display screen to re - print information page.

  • Photosmart 6510 "the printer could not connect to the server.

    Hi all.

Just try to find this sorted hope someone can help.

I am able to print irelessly of all our devices with no problems at all.

However, when I click on the control panel applications he repeats me "the printer could not connect to the verification of the server of the internet connection and try again or enter a proxy address.

I use an Imac with airport wifi router.

Doing a search in the forums and on the manuals troble shooting pages, nothing seems to work.

    Thanks in advance.

Let's define an external static IP and DNS address for the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). Yours is 10.0.1.2 a.200.  We use 10.0.1.220 for your printer.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • System Event Notification service - cannot connect to a Windows Service. Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification service

I am unable to connect to my network wireless with my laptop Sony, (Vista home premium). This follows an infection in my desktop PC with a Trojan which did not stop, but slow internet browsing. I reinstalled vista windows on the pc and it works fine now bur my still gives mobile me this message. "Unable to connect to a Windows Service. Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification service. This problem prevents limited users to logon to the system. As an administrator, you can view the system event log to see why the service did not respond. "I am the administrator on my pc and laptop. I tried to change the user nothing helps. Thank you, Tony

    Hi 1234Tony,

First of all, I suggest you that you also scan your laptop for infection by the virus. Second, reset TCP/IP stack Winsock settings. This could correct mistakes involving internet connectivity as a result of problems of installation of network software, due to a virus, trojan or malware infection or even due to disinfection of spyware security software.

To repair and put back the Windows Vista

    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Type Cmd in start it the search text box.
    3. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run command as administrator prompt. Allow elevation request.
    4. Type netsh winsock reset in the command line shell, and then press the Enter key.
    5. Restart the computer

  • WRT54GS does not connect to Internet

My Linksys wireless router was working fine until the other day when I was using wireless on my laptop and my connection Internet says 'Access Local.'  At first, I thought it was a problem with my ISP (Comcast), so I called them and power cycling the modem, the router and the laptop.  No dice.  When I connect the modem directly to the laptop, however, the Internet worked well.  Even when I ran the cable Ethernet from the modem to the Internet port in the back of my Linksys router and another cable to port 1 on the back of the router to the Ethernet port on my laptop, I still could not access the Internet.  When I wire the modem directly in my router and my router directly into my laptop, I can't do a ping IP address of the router in command prompt, but I'm still not able to ping google.com or Completel.net Ecritel.net.  I can access my online Router Configuration page to verify the settings, and I've even updated the firmware on my router successfully.  I tried the hard reset (30/30/30), but I was still only a local connection.  I do not have an active firewall, I do not use proxies, and all the lights are coming the router as they should.  I'm running out of options, but I prefer to see if there is anything else I can do before going out and blowing up another $60 on a router.  I've had this one for a couple of years - that is their average life expectancy?  I'd appreciate any help you might be able to provide.  Here are the IP configuration with the computer connected directly to the modem settings:

  • WRT610N wireless can not connect to internet

I have a WRT610Nv1. It worked perfectly for about a year until my internet whent out. I have reset my modem and the router and one day more late my wireless connection could not connect to the internet. I can connect to my wireless router, but I can't do it to the interenet. However, if I use a wired connection, I can connect to the internet. I have tried power cycling, releasing the ip - IP, MAC address, change the beacon interval, fragmentation & rts threshold, change the ip address of the router, encryption, disable my firewall, disabling of cloning to renew the upgrade of the firmware.

I even bought a new WRT610Nv2 and had the same problem. I spent four hours on the phone with support linksys technique, and they couldn't help. Only, they went through the basics and everything I had already tried. I call the comcast tech support, and they say it's a problem of router and they can't help me.

I have comcast cable with a modem of the RCA, a Dell XP laptop.

Finally! I copied the MAC address of my wireless card and manually put in the MAC address clone. This does not work, then I went back and clicked on the 'Clone MAC from my PC' button (which I had already done a dozen times before). After ten days, I guess the stars were aligned and the network gods were looking down on me because he suddenly started working.

So I'm crazy and tried to restart my laptop, and it still works. So for fear of messing with anything now, but I'm going to live dangerously and turn on encryption.

Thanks to all those who have offered support.

  • OfficeJet6500A more - ePrint Setup error - this printer could not connect to the server

My 6500 a is connected to the internet and I am able to print wireless.

When you try to set up ePrint, I go through the following menu path: installing, configuring Web services, the printer email address.

I get the message error "this printer could not connect to the server.

I have read and tried the others 'solutions' on the plate that involved turning market eprint, crossing out-lit power cycles, turning wireless on and outside, turning on the printer and wait 5 minutes, restoration of factory settings...   Nothing works.

    Any ideas?

From one day to the next it printed the ePrint address, so I guess that the problem was with the HP sever.

  • Windows Media Center extender on my XBOX works initially, but not after reboot of my XBOX. Error: Failed to connect to the Xbox 360 could not connect to the windows Media Center computer.

It's VERY odd and very annoying!

I set up my laptop next to my Xbox 360 with an Ethernet cable directly connecting the laptop to the XBOX, and the laptop is on our wireless network. The XBOX has access to the internet (shared through the laptop), and when I test the PC connection and the connection XBOX Live sound fine to all.

So I'll try to set up Windows Media Center, it works great! I "Add Extender", put the code to 8 digits. It passes through the installation, all works, no problems and WMC opens on the XBOX, I can go into my library, watch movies etc... works great!

However! As soon as I turn my XBOX off and back on, it will fail to connect to the WMC.

He says his 'find Windows Media Center PC' which seems to work fine, it goes to the ' Windows Media Center loading screen "contact...". ", and after about 10 seconds, I get an error"failed to connect the Xbox 360 could not connect to windows Media Center PC. Make sure that the PC is turned on and connected to the network.

I tried to configure the Extender repeatedly, whenever it works fine until I restart the XBOX... :/ - and its strange cause I still the internet connection (shared through the laptop) after turning on the XBOX, its really JUST Media Center which is screwing around.

She continues to keep trying to connect then repeatedly fails.

If I wanted to, I could re-configuration the WMC Extender EVERY TIME turn off the Xbox, which works the first time without fault, but that's all just stupid.

I can't really understand what is happening here... any help would be appreciated.
