Could not import the music downloaded from iTunes for Windows Movie Maker.

Could not import the music downloaded from iTunes for Windows Movie Maker.  He plays in Windows Live Movie Maker and plays on my computer.  Cannot find the codec. Tried the solution to this same question and in help.

Hello

Some audio and video file formats are not supported in Windows Movie Maker and cannot be imported. However, if you have a video or audio file that is not taken care of, you can use a non-Microsoft video editing software to convert the file into a format supported by Windows Movie Maker, and then import the video file or an audio resulting in Windows Movie Maker. Some files also require you to install a codec before you can use the files in Windows Movie Maker.
Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Windows Movie Maker uses. WAV file formats and Apple's iTunes use it. AAC format.
You can also try saving iTunes songs in the. WAV format instead of Mp3 format and check.

    Hi Bauer327,

iTunes music is in AAC format, which is not compatible with Windows media player. You may have to convert the format AAC to MP3 and then try to add it to windows media player.

ITunes music sometimes has DRM protection. You will need to remove the protection license, and then try with windows media player.

  • Could not get the music downloaded on iPhone 6

My husband and I have recently updated for the iPhone 6.  During the first set up the process, we were able to download all our music bought on our phones. However, since then, my husband has been removed and songs of his phone and wants to add to his phone.  The problem is that they no longer appear in purchased in the iTunes store.  We do not have a computer at home to be able to use iTunes to synchronize our phones, which also means that I know the songs is not hidden in iTunes.  I tried upgrading to the latest version of IOS, I tried all combinations of signing in and out of the iCloud, iTunes home sharing, showing Apple music, etc., but nothing works.  We do not have an Apple music account, our mobile data are enabled for both phones, and we are connected to our WiFi when you try to access purchases.  The purchased music doesn't always show on our phones, or my new iPad Air.  I am at a loss and terribly frustrated.  Where is our purchased music? The only element displayed in our shopping list is the song that my husband bought on his iPhone 6.

Songs can be hidden directly on a phone, it depends of what remove option he chose in the music app when you remove the ('Delete my music' removes the device and he hides in the cloud; ('Remove download' delete just to the device)

If you do not have access to iTunes from the computer, you can try to contact iTunes support and ask them if they can see any music down on the account: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

I accidentally replaced my backup with current bookmarks while trying to import from it. The original bookmarks were not present to Bookmark Backup in the profiles, so I used Recuva for recovering. Now, Firefox gives the "unable to process backup file" thingy.

    System Restore didn't help either.

I managed to recover intact bookmarked using Recuva, deep search in the Profiles folder.

  • Could not import the song to itunes in windows movie maker

    codec of WMM?

My work incredible WMM but when try to take a song on itunes and put it on there he said, "cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer.» If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file"I don't know what codec to install or download

Convert music files to the WMA format and it
    import into Movie Maker successfully.

There are many converters available on the net... the
the following link is an example:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    (1) format Factory (freeware)
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
    (the 'direct link' is faster)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup280.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First... after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your music files on the main screen...

    Select "while"WMA"/ OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

  • creating Windows dvd does not recognize the music in my itunes library

I'm trying to finialize the title page for a slide show I did in windows movie maker, which includes several songs from my itunes library, but it will not be recognized all my itunes files. It allows me to choose the sample songs in the music folder however. any suggestions on how to add my music?

Windows, be it the media player, movie maker and DVD maker, do not accept MP4 file formats.
Windows do not accept Apple file formats, be it video or audio files.

Here is the list of formats of audio files supported by Windows:

    • Audio files: ".aif", ".aifc", ".aiff", ".asf", ".au", ".mp2", ".mp3", ".mpa", ".snd", ".wav" and ".wma".

Your itunes MP3 Google for an audio converter and change file formats. Then re - import to Movie Maker.

PS You can bypass Windows Movie Maker... as the title of your message create dvd windows says.
Use Windows DVD Maker and add your items directly in the creation of DVD.
You will still need to convert the audio files to itunes.
