Could not locate the battery online - HP Pavilion 15-b116sa Sleekbook

Dear community,

I spent already hours online trying to find the right replacement battery to buy for my computer, and/or and agent of chat from HP that could point to him for me. I bought my laptop in 2013 and it is not under warranty any longer.

The model is HP Pavilion 15-b116sa Sleekbook.

This battery is not for sale any longer?

or I may be doing something wrong?

If it was sold is not, how would you recommend that I solve the HP 601 battery alert message that appears at startup?

I did all the audits recommended; all this looks like what I need is a new battery.

Thank you very much!

I understand, it depends on the reputation of the seller, I mean if it's the only way to get the battery try to confirm with the seller, IE if the 2-year warranty is really effective.

For the most part just download windows 10 and then by restarting the computer as if nothing happened. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

    Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft community. I will certainly help you with the problem you are experiencing.

I would like to ask you:

    • You are running Windows 7 or Windows 10 on your PC?
    • When was the last time it was working fine? Remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

Given that you are unable to complete the scan of SFC and Task Manager is empty, usually reinstall or do a repair install is the best choice of action. However, we can try to fix these files and check if that helps. To do this, refer to the steps below:

    1. Open the start menu and type "cmd".
    2. Right-click on the command prompt and click "run as administrator".
    3. Type the following commands and press ENTER after each.

    DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

After you run these commands, restart the system and check.

  • ASA-6-110003: routing could not locate the next hop

    Hello

I have a problem with our ASA firewall. I have a firewall that's inside, outside and DMZ interface. I have VPN clients that connect correctly and can access the internal network. However, for profiles that I have configured to connect via VPN to the DMZ network fails with the following messages.

ASA-6-110003: routing could not locate the next hop

    &

ASA-6-302014: disassembly of the TCP connection... No contiguity valid

I have connections in the DMZ, but aren't VPN via internal and external interfaces without problem.

The routing table has a route to this network and I have a nat in place - I'm quite puzzled by the present.

    Thank you

    Hello Ed,

Well, Nat seems good but you can do the following for me please:

  • Could not locate the system volume

I have a very similar problem that has been published before; However, the posted solution worked.

I can't find in the newspapers, what is actually wrong.  If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

"Then the conversion of a server to ESX 3.5 Server 2003 I received this message after only 95% complete.". Failure of the Reconfiguration of the error. With the State: FAILED: could not find the system volume, reconfiguration is not possible.

I use VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 4.0.1"

Newspapers reported the following errors (which are equivalent):

Impossible to reconfigure a source that doesn't have a system volume

    converter.fault.ReconfigurationNoSystemVolumeFault

It seems that there are 2 physical disks in the system

    > Drive:
    . \PhysicalDrive0 a type of adapter: 1

    > Drive:
    . A type of adapter \PhysicalDrive1: 1

Converter is to see the C:\ as long as the system volume, but there is no active flag set on it.  The second disc is recognized, but according to it's Converter:

    > is a dynamic volume. No significant partition information may be associated with him

So, it looks like there's a mirror of software on the source physical system or the original system was dual boot between something like Windows 2008 and 2003 Server.

If it's a mirror of the software, you can:

    -remove the mirror and conversion

-Use gparted on the virtual machine to set start-up/active at the first vmdk file flags, and then reconfigure the virtual machine via converter

If it is a dual-boot configuration, then I do not think that it is supported.

  • Windows 10 could not locate the boot camp partition

I'm trying to install 10 Windows on an iMac end of 2015 with a 512 SSD.  With the help of Boot Camp and an ISO of Windows 10, I am able to create the Bootcamp partition and the iMac restarts in the Windows of Windows installation. I enter my product key for my Windows 7 DVD and reach the screen showing partitions.  I select "disk 0 Partition 5 Boot Camp" partition and click on 'Format' according to the Apple support document.  The partition is then renamed to 'Drive Partition 0 5'.  When I select the next button, I get the following error message:- "we couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one.  For more information, see the Setup logs files'.  The Windows Installer does not progress.  I deleted the partition several times using bootcamp and restarted the installation and always get the same failure.

Any advice on how to install Windows would be greatly appreciated.  Boot Camp 6 will let me install Windows 7 on the iMac and so I need to use Windows 10.  I guess the Windows 10 ISO downloaded from Microsoft will work with the Windows 7 product key and Setup seems to accept it.

Please, disconnect all external storage devices to your iMac and run the following two procedures.

  • Could not locate the agent.exe ODS.

In recent weeks, when my computer starts up, I get a message that says ODS agent.exe impossible to locate the component dnssd, dll not found - need to re - install. I don't remember to remove whatever it is and wonder if this is a serious problem and how can I fix it?  I use Windows XP Home Edition II.

    Thanks for your help.  Elizabeth

E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

If you mean that you see a message like this:

ODSAgent.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because c:\windows\system32\dnssd.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this message.

ODSAgent belong to some software from Apple that allows remote DVD and CD disc sharing, restoration of system software and a migration wireless with MacBook Air.

If you have not deleted the file, he could have been quarantined (actually deleted) by your unspecified antivirus/antimalware software.

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

If you use this Apple software and features, you can see if the uninstall and reinstall the application by downloading it from the Apple page:

    http://support.Apple.com/kb/DL112

You might be able to get by with only replace the missing c:\windows\system32\dnssd.dll file that you can download on my SkyDrive, but there could be other files that are missing too so a relocation may be required if you use this software.

If you do not use this software, you can uninstall it or disable the ODSAgent Service, so it does not start when you restart your system.

Note that the 'experts' Support who are engaged by Microsoft engineer will say just to try running sfc/scannow and check if it helps (to help any) or run msconfig and disable the Service and that you will keep seeing the message, but that is not the problem - it fixes the symptom of a problem which is not the same thing that actually solve the problem (however counts as a 'response' on) their planet).

Maybe it's fine if you use not just software, but you will leave with a sloppy XP configuration.

If you do not know the software and do not use it, just uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs, and that should remove afflicted startup ODSAgent as well.

To download the c:\windows\system32\dnssd.dll on my SkyDrive, follow these steps:

I downloaded a copy of the file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

You can download it and when you do, put a copy of the file in this folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\System32

Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:

    https://SkyDrive.live.com/?CID=6a7e789cab1d6f39&ID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file called dnssd when the name of the file should really be called c:\windows\system32\dnssd.dll (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

Restart and look at things, to remember that you will have to perhaps download and reinstall this app from Apple, if other files are missing.

  • Could not locate the installer of Windows on Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

I tried for days to download an important update to Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo ultimate x 2.  I get the message that it cannot find Windows Installer - 86.  Or that the download has been blocked by the DEP system.  How can I get around these issues?  Also, Windows Installer 4.5 is available for my version of Vista and it's a download automatic or optional?

    Hello Vicki vs,

Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

Have you scanned your computer for malware?  I added a few steps to perform.  Please let us know status.  Thank you!

Please follow these links to scan your computer.

    1. run it Microsoft Windows malicious software removal tool

    2
this online scanner (in safe mode with network, if possible):
    http://OneCare.live.com/site/en-us/Center/howsafe.htm

When running Windows Vista in Normal Mode or Mode without failure:

    1. open a CMD window as an administrator (click Start, all programs, accessories, right-click on command prompt and choose Run as administrator)

    2. run this command: sfc / scannow

    3. look for the results returned by the SFC

Watch carefully the present SFC results in the command prompt window.  The three possibilities and their conclusions are

    ·          SFC found no problems: This means that versions of the correct system files are used by Windows Vista, SFC.exe can determine. If you're still having problems in Windows, it could be questions of registry (SFC checks the files, not the registry), software installed on Windows or equipment.

    ·          SFC and fixed problems: This means that the SFC may have solved your problem. Try to reproduce the problem again. If the problem persists, it may be that there is unrelated to system file issues. But the presence of these questions could indicate that corruption

    ·          Found but SFC could not solve problems: This means that there are more important issues with the Windows system files. It could be that you have corruption in the SFC store uses for recovery.

  • Could not locate the menus.xml - CS5 file

While trying to open Dreamweaver CS5 on mac OSX 10.8.2, I keep running into this error message.

"Dreamweaver fails to locate the menus.xml file and it cannot rebuild from a backup." You may need to reinstall Dreamweaver. »

I would try to reinstall, but I am currently overseas for 3 months and don't have my serial number or the disc with me. Does anyone know of a solution? I tried searching on the web but could not come up with solutions.

    Thanks in advance.

    Eric

    Use this link: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html

Read the instructions very carefully. It's not a pirate download site. This site offers downloads of the trial for 30 days of CS5 (since Adobe lists more links on their portal).

Once you download the installation, be sure to use your serial key.
