count Booleans?

Hello, I am a novice to Labview to take it easy on me. What I'm trying to do is: run a while loop after 1 true, 1 false, and 1 boolean true. I'm trying to start a measurement when a digital input off a TTL high again, so that I can get a good measure of the zero. I searched the forums but cannot get a grip on what I do exactly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Problem with sending SMS programmatically to multiple recipients:

    Hello world

    I try to send information by SMS to multiple recipients at the same time programmatically. When I am trying to send SMS messages to a recipient, it works fine. I am able to send the data to a recipient successfully without any problems. But when I try to send to multiple recipients (more than one) in the code below loop 'for', it does not send to all recipients. That is to say, sometimes he sent the data to the only recipient if there are two numbers of beneficiaries (or) sometimes is not even send SMS to anyone (or the) sometimes sent to all recipients. Like that it is not consistent way when trying to send to multiple recipients at the same time.

    I even tried to use 'invokeAndWait' before calling the SMSThread code, but still the same problems.

    Could someone guide how I can resolve to send content to multiple users at the same time?

    public void SendMultipleSMS()
        {
            // multiple recipients stored here
            _data = (Vector) store.getContents();
            long totalSize = _data.size(); // totalSize - recipients count
            boolean yesLastSMS = false;

            // totalSize - recipients count
            if ( totalSize>0 )
            {
                _payload = null;
                _payload = contactsDetToSend(); // Content to send

                for ( int i=0; i

    I fixed it by moving beneficiaries 'for' code for the loop inside the SMSThread itself and sending to multile numbers at a time.

  • Using a value Boolean true to increment a counter

    Hello world

    I would like to make a simple counter that waits just until a value Boolean true is passed and account 1, then wait until it happened again and goes up to 2 and so on. Just a single increment each time a real rose. I'm sure it's pretty simple, but I had no luck so far.

    Who does not resemble a need for a secondary loop.  You can add code to this loop to analyze the data.  If you do the calculations to determine a true, you already do the job.  Instead of going out a real, just increment a value of a shift register it.  Saves the hassle of sending one real constant for another loop for updating a shift register.  Do not create excess code just to have more code.

  • Boolean switch until the released counter + the number of cycles

    Hi, I want to use a Boolean command button (switch release) to rely on a specific value and when obtaining this value (while pressing continuously the button) to turn on an led. If I release this Boolean button, I want to count the time until a value and then to turn off the light, like a hand for a hand detection dry.

    I was thinking of using the number of cycles in a sequence of plate with a delay for the time being I want to split on a matter of true or false, but the problem is that the count of the number of cycles is continuous and not slaughter not on the specific value I want for the power button truning the seeing.

  • Count when the boolean function is true / complete the table

    Hi all

    I think that this is a task fairly easy, but for some reason, I can't get it to work.

    The problem is explained below:

    I have 3 slider that gives either 0,1,2. I have a button "next" which is actually a Boolean button. Every time I click on the 'next' button, I want the values of the scabbard 3 (0,1,2) to go into a table. The array index is decided by how many times I clicked on the button "next". Basically if I click Next the first time, the values should go to the 0th row, when I clicked on the second time, he should go to the first line, etc... This should continue to happen until I click on the button stop, when it should display the table populated with its index corresponding to me.

    I tried to use a program for a Boolean County who continually keeps count how many times I pressed the next button. But this loop continues indefinitely. Otherwise, it starts from 0. I don't know how to do it well.

    The program is presented here with comments.

    Help, please

    Gayatri

    You should really use a structure of the event.  Keep the table in a shift register and simply use table build to y to add whenever the next value change event will occur.  Have another event for the stop button.

  • Stepper - motor count measures

    Hello
    I am a beginner in the LabVIEW.

    I need an advice. How to count the number of steps of the motor stepper motor control turn the potentiometer and its rotation is necessary to complete the 170 steps. The LabVIEW I did the manual control of a stepper motor. I used two case structures. First of all for the start and stop of rotation and the second to change the direction of rotation.

    When the motor turns to the left, the "number of steps" is incremented, and when it turns clockwise, the number in the decrements of the indicator to zero, but I need to decrement the numbers, which are recorded during a turn to the left (for example) 56 instead of 0, -1, -2, 57, 58, 59...)

    Can it be somehow put implement into my program or is there another solution for counting steps?

    Thank you

    Instead of 2 nodes (one in each case) feedback, you need 1.  But to make life even simpler, use the shift register that you already have.  Most of the logic inside case structures is not necessary.  Just incrementing or decrementing based on orientation.  Put this value in the registry to offset.  That will keep track of your number of the step.  Now for the boolean array to use index, just use the function Quotient & rest on your number from step 4.  The output remains will tell you exactly which line of your array of Boolean to use.

  • Boolean start/reset stopwatch

    Dear Board of Labview,

    I have a Boolean value which is constantly evolving within a while loop and I'd like to measure how long it remains true.   Whenever the Boolean value is true, I would start the countdown from scratch and continue until the Boolean value is false.   When the Boolean value is false, I want an indicator allowing to maintain the last count until the Boolean value true will once again, repeat the process.

    It sounds simple, but it has been surprisingly difficult for me.   I hope someone can help.

    Thank you

    Zach

    I have attached a VI showing my build... a Boolean value in a while loop.   Start/stop it is not reset.

    Hello Zach,

    This should do the work for you.

    Kind regards

  • Build a simple counter

    Hi, I'm just getting started in LABView and I am a very slow learner. I have build a counter to count my gamepad operations as it is cycling on a tester of life. I put him in place to count the individual directional activations, but I join to have it count total cycles. I'm writing up to the VI I did so far. How can I do that after that he been rolled once in each direction (up, left, down, right), there is a cycle? Thank in advance for any help.

    -Pascale

    I think the only problem is that it's a loop so fast (10mS) at the point where the counter increments he already counted the next event.  You can add additional logic to prevent the inside while loop to stop until the direction of the joystick Returns Boolean 0.  The idea is that stop only once all 4 have been activated AND 4 are no longer in an active state.  I used the function NOT to make it more obvious that the logic was, you have also the output of arithmetic consisting be reversed but this watch only upward like a small point on the line of the value.

    Like the other post, I don't have a way to test this, but I think my logic was scientifically.

    Edit1: The post above beat me to it, and his suggestion would work just as well as mine, we just thought it differently.

    Edit2: I noticed in one of your posts above you mentioned that you want to count only when it has been activated in a certain order.  This VI does not work like that, it would take a more complicated logic to do.  I see two ways that could be made, but don't have the time to get out to see which would be best.  Good luck and have fun.

  • How to store counter data

    Hello

    I arranged the circuit saw attached. For now the meter will change from 0 to 1 when the analog signal of the DAQ aka changes of direction from false to true. However, I want to continue to count, from 0 to 1 to 2, etc.

    What can I do to achieve this?

    Thank you.

    Your code should do what you want.  I have attached a version simulated your code.  It should continue to count.  I have two questions to ask you if.

    1. What is your false case?  It seems that your having the option "use the default if unwired" enabled for the tunnel exit case structure.  If you do not have a wire through on the case of false, you'll ruin your meter.

    2. ensure that the Subvi, which is connected to the structure of business generates correct Boolean event.

  • Simultaneous Ridge double counting (coincidence)

    Hello. I counted peaks using labview using a simulated signal. Just a. What I have to do now is make another simulation signal and test coincidence - how many times these two signals cross a certain threshold at the SAME time before shutting down. Anyone have an idea how I can go about this? Thanks in advance!

    If we do this in the software, then I suggest first by comparing the signals to a threshold and display of a Boolean value to indicate a level crossing.  Then compare these Boolean values to see if they are both true.

    Please let me know if it would work out.

    Thank you

  • Simple counter

    Hi team or,.

    I am trying to program a simple counter, see Appendix vi. Every time the temperature higher than 55 c she should count + 1 if it goes below of-18 + 1 cold cycle. Not sure why the structure of the event, never reached into the tank.
    Can someone help me pls.

    DEGBM24 wrote: don't know why the structure of the event, never reached into the tank.

    This is because the value change event is not raised by you write to the Terminal.

    1. you don't need a case of timeout.

    2. you should have a value of Stop change event to stop your loop

    3. you should have a change in the value of your temperature control event

    4. you really should be using shift registers to keep your account of cycle instead of local variables

  • Count the number of 1 is present in digital waveforms obtained by converting the pulse signals.

    Hello

    I use Analogtodigital.Vi to convert the pulse of the sequences in digital.signals.I am able to get the representation of digital waveforms of impulses.

    But how to count the number of 1 is present in the converted digital waveform. I want to count the number of 1 is present in the digital waveform converted.

    Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried the block scheme of similar to the Digital.vi of opening?

    It creates an array 2D uncompressed 1 and 0, which is the binary 16 bits A/D conversion of each element in the array Y of the input waveform. You can use the DWDT digital Array.vi Boolean to convert a 2D Boolean table. Then convert Boolean values to 1.0 and summarize the array of integers. The sum must be the number of 1 bits in the digital waveforms.

    Lynn

    Note: The VI attached is saved in version 8.6. When I have it saved for the previous Version a warning was generated about the possible differences in the versions. Let me know if it doesn't work, and you are using which version of LV.
