CPD Watchdog Violation Windows 8 [SOLVED]

Hello!
Occasionally I get the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. Used when I play games. I use the laptop Asus n56vz and SSD OCZ vector 512 GB. I tried to update all drivers, BIOS, and Firmware of the SSD, but I still get the error.  I have used NOD32 Antivirus I uninstalled it but still have this error.

Here's the C:\Windows\Minidump:

Thank you for your help.

I think the question can be counted as solved now. No more BSOD after installing the seller of the laptop ASUS NVIDIA driver.

Thank you all for the help.
I hope that this thread will also help other people.
I can't mark my reply - as the answer to the Question. So I only renamed the 1st post.

It's my generic how updates of appropriate driver: (updating the video/display driver and BIOS)

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - set the VIEW to hide
Microsoft drivers - update those without drain in their names (and BIOS and chipset).

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on
Driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right
Click on - uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    Caution:

BIOS update should be made only if necessary (to solve a compatibility problem, for example). It can be a complicated process, and if an error occurs, your computer could be rendered inoperative. Be sure to observe the instructions of the manufacturer.

    2. Update Windows 8.1.

You have an external VGA video card Multi monitor adapter USB 3.0 to installed? If you do, please make sure that it is installed correctly and working properly.

If you continue to crash, please run the Verifier (DV) according to the instructions in the link below.

  • CPD Watchdog Violation on my Toshiba Satellite and impossible to verify updates

I had Violation Watchdog DPC on my Toshiba Satellite. It's frustrating to worm. How can I solve this problem?

    Here's my minidumps files https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=67BCFC4F8EC6B99B 107

    Hi Sheikh R,.

You seem to have two software antivirus/firewall in real-time installed, Norton and Avira which can cause stability problems.

Can you uninstall Norton and Avira and see if that helps.

For security software consider using just firewall and antivirus integrated Windows 8 (Windows Defender).

I would also uninstall the c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys pilot who has been known to cause blue screen errors in some configurations.

Uninstall the application that has installed the driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys, maybe it's Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%.

Then, uninstall the c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys - see "How can I remove driver SPTD on 64-bit operating system?" in the following link:

  • The incessant CPD Watchdog Violation?

I have a Lenovo laptop, G780, and recently, I was not able to connect to all without any BSOD. This causes my laptop restart and he ends up in a reboot loop after a reboot. The only way for to connect me with success is to do a system restore

    * The problem started to occur just after I downloaded DC Universe. I uninstalled since, but am still stuck with this problem.

    You have done, thank you!

The two attached DMP files are bug control DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133) .

This bug check indicates that the watchdog DPC executed, either because it has detected a call single lengthy proceedings deferred (DPC), the system spent an extended time at a level (IRQL) IRQ to DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.

Usually the processes accompanying the accident are not relevant in most cases, but according to what they are and their level of impact on the system, they may very well be. In your case, the crash of a process is important and it is compliant: nom_processus: avgnsa.exe

    ^^ EXE from moy.

Remove and replace AVG with built-in Windows Defender from Windows 8 for temporary troubleshooting purposes:

  • CPD Watchdog Violation with link to Blackberry?

I just bought a new Dell Inspiron 15R with Windows 8 for the home/business.  As I had already bought a new BB Q10 (running on the Bell network), I downloaded Blackberry link and tried several times to synchronize:

    • My contacts of the BB (well work the first time, but produces entries duplicated on BB when subsequent attempts) and
    • my calendar of the BB (failed several times, regardless of the configuration I used),

Three times, at some point during or after these attempts, I got the blue screen and especially DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.  I got to the shop and they replaced the machine with another one (same brand/model), again loaded with Windows 8.

On the new machine, I being crossed by the synchronization process live by a representative of support Blackberry, when the error took place once again, twice.

Anyone can shed light on what do I do?

    Hello

If you have received a new model replacement and you still get issues, Blackberry link device drivers will not be managed for Windows 8 or 8.1. Do not forget that you are using the latest drivers via Blackberry for her.

    Kind regards

  • CPD Watchdog Violations causing BSOD

I get random BSOD when using my computer, it seems to happen more often in game. I updated all my drivers and updated the firmware on my SSD, as I've heard that it can cause the problem. Here is a link to my minidump any help would be greatly appreciated.

    http://sdrv.Ms/1dxWROF

Can you, for now, 'turn off' the driver check:

Start > type verifier.exe and press 'Enter' on the keyboard > clear the existing settings > finish

Then, uninstall the audio driver Realtek High definition which is now installed and then install the one for Windows 8 64-bit from following link which should update the MBfilt64.sys:

    http://EU.msi.com/product/MB/Z87-mPower.html#download

Do the same for the network Killer driver.

OK now I'm frustrated to this errors. I put all 4 minidumps in a rar.

Now I'm trying to update my BIOS but I don't know how because I have my motherboard from asus with American Megatrends... and I'm not trying to get up-to-date with all things so I can't get more errors.

  • Windows 8 Pro - blue screen with CPD Watchdog continuing Violation coming

I just installed Windows 8 Pro four days ago on my new PC (two months) that came with Windows 7.  I randomly get the blue screen with Violation of CPD watchdog, and the PC restarts.  It is very frustrating and never had this problem with Windows 7.

Also, on my desk, get Ezupdt window warning and I was wondering if it is related?

    Hello world

Problem solved.  My free version of AVG 2012 was the root cause of the problem.  I was able to get a free through Microsoft consultation as my warranty period of Windows 8 is still valid (less than 90 days).

Time AVG has been removed, the problem has gone.

  • Violation of CPD watchdog error

    Hello

Whenever my computer wakes from sleep, or after I closed the computer I get an error of violation of CPD watchdog. Then I have to restart my computer several times before I can actually use it.
I tried running windbg without success. I get error module unkonw.
If someone could help me, understand me what is causing the blue screen, it would be great!

One of the minidump files had a damaged however the last file referenced minidump Windows the storport.sys driver module and the storage the list nvstor.sys NVIDIA driver.

Can you open up Windows Update and "Check for updates".

Are there optional updates available for the storage NVIDIA controller?

Also, Avast has been known to cause blue screen problems in some configurations so I would say to uninstall Avast and just use firewall and antivirus integrated Windows 8 (Windows Defender).

Also, you can run the following two applications just to see if they do anything:

    TDSSKiller:
