I installed XP sp2 on presario CQ60-210TU and managed to get LAN and wireless worked devices following but unable to work.

Audio

Modem

One-touch keys to turn on/off wireless and press

For audio, I downloaded driver (conexant HD smart audio 221). But when it is installed it says NO DEVICE to install the driver. I'm stuck. Appreciate someone advise me what I have to do.

If you know of the other two (modem and a key key) please advise me.

Thanks again.

    Hello

There is a good solution for your problem.
    Go to this site:
    www.Realtek.com

and download the sounddrivers from there. In any case, they work perfectly since they are native drivers for this chipset.

  • Satellite Pro U400 - no sound after downgrading for Win XP

    Hello

    I hope someone can help!

Have just downgraded from Vista to XP pro U400, downloaded all the drivers I could get on the Toshiba site but I still have PCI Device and unknown device drivers are not installed for.

Think it must have something to do with the sound when I tried to load sound divers, he came up with "cannot find media device" If don't have her no more, anyway don't know what to do next.

    Thank you for the charges

    Hello

This theme has been discussed here many times.
It s a general problem with Windows XP!
If you n t install the patches MS as KB888111, KB835221 and then you would not get the sound.

You must install these cites patched before install you the audio driver!

If the driver has been installed you must remove it first before the patches are installed.

PS: This MS patches are part of the SP3 too!

  • Satellite L30 PSL33E: No sound after downgrade to XP

My laptop (Toshiba Satellite L30 PSL33E) provided with Windows Vista but it is very slow with this OS and one of my friends downgrade my OS XP.
But now, the built-in speaker does not work. Where can I find driver for them.

Excuse me for my English, but I never learn this language :) sorry ;)

    Hello

Solution is simply ;) you must first install the Microsoft patches (patches) KB888111 and KB835221.

These two hotfixes must be installed before you try to install the audio driver!

    Here's my advice;
First, install * KB888111, KB835221 * and then restart the device and after this short intervention, install sound driver that was downloaded from the European driver Toshiba page.

    I hope this helps you.

  • Sound card is not after the downgrade from Vista to Xp on Equium L350

Hi I have a Finalis L350 laptop computer and I've recently downgraded from Vista to XP.

All other drivers work very well outside of my sound card.

Does anyone know where to find the drivers I need for my laptop?

I know what we call drivers

VIA AC 97 Audio Controller (WDM and SIS 7018 Audio Driver)

Only problem is that I don't know what those who work with my Toshiba L350 - 10L

There are different versions of these drivers. No one knows everything everyone who it is?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hello

If you download the latest driver from realtek site (which belongs to this sound card since it s a realtek card) you can't do anything wrong. Just check www.realtek.com and download the latest being.

  • Dv4-1413tx - no sound after downgrade to xp vista frm

    Hello...

I recently bought a HP dv4-1413tx with vista home premium pre-installed on it. I tried it downgrade to Windows XP SP2. Managed to install XP on it but feels a hell of a time with drivers... Especially the audio. There is absolutely no sound. Not even the beeps.

I tried to install UAA audio bus driver first and then the driver of HDTV LSI etc. but still no sound. I spent several hours on this subject...

Peut - some kind soul please direct me on how to go about this case?

I remember that I was in a similar situation some two years back in an attempt to re - install Windows XP on another laptop from my friend. We install everything except the audio. Finally, the technician at the shop could install for us. Now I'm away from the place... So can not go and find out that the man how it install it. It was also a HP laptop only...

I would like to add that the mute button stays red and does not respond when you press.

There is nothing about Audio in Device Manager... Maybe that's the problem.

Downgraded from Vista to XP Pro (V. 2002) on my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop.  Have installed Service Pack 3.

Automated fix - it doesn't include troubleshooting for audio.

  • DV6 3219tx xp downgrade. No sound at all and can not install any MS - UAA at all. Help, please

I need to downgrade to XP SP2 due to work. I work for a public service and I tried everything about compatibility. I can't afford the upgrade 7 Ultimate. I have XP Home and they install ok but I can not install the drivers for the sound. DECCOM opens either. I've tried everything. Can you help me please? I read the guide here and it says that you have to install MS - SAU (gives 3 of them), but when I try to install I get the yellow question mark in the currency manager and nothing happens that no drivers are installed after. Desperate please help

What is the yellow mark on? You should have a list of "Audio device on Bus from Def High" with the yellow mark_indicatiing and material is on and wait for the correct audio driver_if MS UAA installed correctly.

If MS UAA installed correctly it will be a list under system devices for Microsoft UAA for High Def Bus.If, he is not there, you need to do a right click the device with the yellow mark (unless it is as mentioned above) and choose set to update driver. Click on do not connect, let me pick or so 'drive '. Navigate to the location where you unzipped the files MS UAA.

Normally MS UAA only allows audio and allows it to accept a driver IDT.

    Hello

I have an Inspiron 1520 provided with Windows Vista Premium.

I downgraded to XP Pro. Everything seemed great until I noticed a beep instead of each sound.

I tried to install the driver 92xx Sigmatell from the Dell website, but it does not work.

Anyone know where I can download the driver for my sound card?

    Any suggestion on this subject?

I tried to reset the Bios and installing the driver Audigy 1, 2. Nothing has worked so far.

  • No sound no issue on 64 bit versions of Windows 8 - Compaq CQ60 - 140EV

    Hello guys!

I have the following problem after installation of 64-bit Windows 8:

Independent of the version - home page, pro or business, on my Compaq CQ60 - 140EV speakers produce no sound, not even on the external speaker no sound. In Device Manager, everything seems to be ok. With all versions 32 bit Windows-8 or with previews of 64-bit version of W8-developer preview, overview of consumer sound etc work correctly. But with any details of Windows 8: home, pro or business there is no noise.

    I tried the following:

Reinstall windows via USB, DVD - same issue, the installation drive in mode-same WIN7 compatibility question, installation driver followed problem update-even Microsoft, installation driver on the system to dual-boot (WIN8 and WIN7) - the computer find drive WIN7 and installed, but once again no sound. All other functions work fine except the sound. And the odd point is that the sound does not work only on the 64-bit version and only in the final version.

Can you help me please to solve this problem?

    Thank you very much!

  • Satellite L30-113 - no sound after the downgrade from Vista to XP

    Hello to everyone.
I recently bought a new laptop Toshiba Satellite L30-113
    with vista preintalled.

As many users around the vista of the world seemed very slow for me so I decided to go back to Windows XP Pro.
The problem is that I can't hear any sound in my laptop.
In fact I found some drivers for Realtek controller High definition audio
    but they have nothing did.

I give the floor to toshiba in Greece and they told me that this laptop is designed only for windows vista!
    Can this be true?
    Help, please

    Hello

In my eyes, you have misunderstood something. Of course, that the laptop can handle Windows XP and it should work correctly, but as you say the device was shipped with Vista and so the guys at Toshiba support don't provide any support for WinXP on this laptop.

As far as I know page driver Toshiba also provide drivers for win XP. Therefore, visit European driver of Toshiba page and choose the good laptop-> PSL33 Sat L30-113

You will find a driver 5.10.0.5273 version XP. This should work!

    Have a nice day ;)

  • Satellite L40 - 14N: no sound with Windows XP Pro downgraded

    Hello fellow owners of Tosh

I just got my L40 - 14N slow Vista to XP, which went well, to a point.

All the drivers I used comes from the Toshiba web site, including the * "Realtek High Définition Audio Codecs R1.84" * it did not work. If I go into Device Manager all the yellow dots mark are now gone! But I have no sound and when I enter the control panel of configuration/sounds it is indicating "No. Audio Device.

He had the same problems or ideas would be great.

    JC

PS. I have also the wi - fi light does not work, not really fussed on this subject, it worked on Vista!

    It's easy.
I've seen many users with the same issue.
The problem is that you didn t install the patches from Microsoft XP.

Patches are needed for the operation. First you must install the KB888111 and KB835221 hotfix before you install the audio driver.

    -Controller\ PCI memory
    -Unknown device
I assumed that the unknown device is my sound card, but still can't make it work :/

I've already upgraded the bios and install page of toshiba Realtek drivers.

    Really need help.

    Hello

No sound after installing XP operating system. What to say man I searched here in the forum similar threads and it seems that it is a common problem.

But you worry about don t; I think that I found the key ;)
After installing win XP, you must update the latter State. Install all the patches and hotfixes provided by Microsoft. You must use the website to update Ms. The tool on this page checks the system and selects all necessary updates!

Very important are the patches; KB888111 and KB835221
These hotfixes must be installed before installing the sound card driver.

The Realtek sound card driver can be downloaded from Toshiba or on the official website of Relatek page.

By the way; It is very important to install drivers in the correct order. On the Toshiba page, you will find the installation instructions. So please follow the guidelines mentioned in this doc.
