If this does not work, can advise you on replacement of this core, celeron 900 processor single-threaded.

This seems to be the weak link in this laptop.

Thank you, respectfully

You can virtually none of the PENRYN 45nm lithography processors put in it, the optimal processor, you can upgrade is the Intel core 2 duo t9500. I have the same laptop and I have the next step down from what is the Intel core 2 duo processor t9300. There is no complete list of the processors that it will support the lists that you will find are incomplete at best even Intel does not update their information. Go to intel.com and search PENRYN in a search more people you can use, you need to compare to ensure that.

  • Compaq CQ62-219WM showing black screen AFTER the replacement.

So I guess my question is fairly simple.  When I replaced my client on their Compaq CQ62-219WM screen and it appears black.  When I shine a flashlight in it, I see the start menu and whatnot.  This means that I must file a RMA right? I'm guessing that because black light is out.

Indeed, the Assembly of replacement LCD display screen could be faulty. You meant was to request an RMA from the supplier that you used with the supply of a replacement. Yes, in this case, I would like to request an RMA number.

  • Compatible CPU in HA

    Hello

I have a question a compatible CPU fight in HA AND FT?

for example, I want implimention HA in 3 servers

CPU to 3 servers must be of same Type '' intel5660' or any Type just 56xx.

However no significant processor in 3 servers for HA is similar and that future important service FT

for HA (which is a restart and not a hot migration) do not really require a corresponding CPU family. Only FT, vMotion and DRS requires the right kind of family. or alternatively, you can look in the so-called EVC http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003212

I'm looking to upgrade the processor in this laptop as the base processor (the processor Intel Celeron 900 2.2GHz) is simply not enough for my needs.  I did my own research and I found (to be confirmed) this list of compatible processors purportedly in the service manual for my laptop. Apparently, all of the aforementioned processors are compatible with my system, but some are only compatible with some models (model i.e. 1.1 and 1.2).  How can I determine which model I have and what processor will give me the best output for my money?

As always, any help would be greatly appreciated!

It may "work", but as I said the GL40 simply has no circuits to take full advantage of the advanced features of the high range processors. Also no he don't mention not all i-series processors in the list. They are all Core 2 Duo T4200 except. Your Celeron 900 is one heart. Even a Pentium dual as say the T4200 will be much better and will be fully compatible with the GL40 chipset and very cheap to start.

  • Satellite A100-773: what compatible CPU are?

    Hello
I was wondering what the other CPU intel could enter my 773. I wanted to move to a t2500 (2 ghz).
my real cpu runs on a 533 mhz fsb. the motherboard supports a higher fsb? It adapts automatically when I plug the T2500 or is it not possible to upgrade this laptop at all?
    concerning

    AL

As far as I know, there are many different models A100 and units have been delivered with these processors:
    Processor Intel Yonah (667 MHz)
    T2300(1.66GHz)
    T2400(1.83GHz)
    T2500 (2 GHz)
    T2600(2.16GHz)
    T2700(2.33GHz)
    T1300(1.66GHz)
    T1400(1.83GHz)

But usually it's not easy to replace the CPU and no one will tell you if it works.
Toshiba doesn't support updates and possibly the device will work unstable and overheat.
That is why it s not advisable to upgrade the processor.

  • E9120Y Compatible CPU does move

I found the solution. Update of this motherboard, it must be a C2 walk, not a C3 CPU stepping.  The processor HDX925WFK4DGI (OEM) has C2 stepping and will work on this motherboard. The HDX925WFK4DGM processor has a step by step of C3 and will not work.  The two are identical except for the deepening and the alphanumeric characters are different.  The C2 stepping GPU ends with 'I' and the C3 CPU stepping ends in "M".  Unfortunately, until I ordered my replacement CPU, I didn't have this difference.

  • Compaq Presario 2545US upgrade (DC970A) CPU, compatible CPU?

I have a HP Pavilion nx9010 (DV134U) for parts for my Compaq Presario 2545US (DC970A). It's practically a twin, internal differences only being their mothers and processor cards. The Presario's 31KT9MB0030 system board and CPU Pentium 4 d 2.40 GHz (SL6RZ). The Pavilion has 31KT9MB0056 system board and CPU Pentium 4 d 2.80 GHz (SL6PF). My question is whether I would be able to run the nx9010 CPU in the 2545US without a critical thermal problems. They both have the same 3-fan and heatsink of huge heat cooling system.

Any help, advice and information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

According to some old posts here by Clinton Tam, it seems that the Presario will work until a 2.80 GHz CPU P4 - D. In the manual, in the list of replaceable parts, it was available with other processors P4 - D. I saw no motive P4s. In the list of spare parts on the HP Business Support site for the nx9010, it was available with several processors P4 - D, not the P4s Mobile only. The difference is in the motherboards. The motherboard in the 31KT9MB0030 Presario 2545US (326682-001) and those in the Pavilion nx9010 is 31KT9MB0056 (344178 001). 30 is not the voltage regulator / VRM necessary for the performance of a portability, or Mobile P4. 56 the fact. Thus, the Presario I can only run the P4 - D processors and the nx9010 that I can run simultaneously P4 - D and M - P4 CPU.
