I've updated to Firefox 5, under help in the browser button "about Firefox" shows the new version, but my buttons to shortcuts on my monitor still shows "Firefox 4.0 Beta 10". Most updates also update the keys shortcut. Is it possible that I can do this?
Your user agent indicates that you use Firefox 5. You can change the name of the shortcut to read just "Firefox". You can name a shortcut all you want.

I use Firefox for several years on my G5 iMAC, running MAC OS 10.5.8. This morning, Firefox does not open. Tried to open it from the icon in the Applications folder, but does not always. Safari opens without difficulty. Tried to download Firefox again, thinking a file might have been corrupted, but new version is not compatible with my hardware of desktop computers. I find a compatible version of Firefox? My NAV for MAC security software is not interfering.
- Versions of Firefox 4 and later do not run a Mac PowerPC.
- Firefox 4 and later requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For a non-official Firefox 4 compatible version (TenFourFox) which works on Mac PowerPC with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8, you can consult:

We have an old Ariba software and versions of browsers make it impossible to complete the process.
I was wondering if I can download the old version of Firefox, one before 3.6.24.Find the folder of the version you want to download, for example FF 3.6.24:
FTP://FTP.Mozilla.org/pub/Firefox/releases/3.6.24/Then go to the win32 (Windows) folder, and then find the locale you want, if she is en-US, go to ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/3.6.24/win32/en-US/ and download the Installer (.exe).

In early October, Microsoft forced an upgrade on my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Firefox 49.0.2 continued to operate correctly. Then Firefox 50 arrived, and when the automatic upgrade occurred, Firefox would no longer work. It seems normal on the screen, but it will not look for the website of my saved favorites, and it connects to sites that I identify by entering the url in the address bar. It also doesn't close - to close Firefox, I have to call the Task Manager. I tried to uninstall Firefox 50 and put it back - that does not work. I also tried to uninstall Firefox 49.0.2 completely, restart the computer and then do a fresh install of Firefox 50, but nothing seems to work.
I came back to Firefox 49.0.2 as a temporary measure (disabling the auto update feature), but this isn't a good solution in the long term. What should I do? Wait for Firefox 51? Abandon Firefox?
Help!
If you want to revert to Windows 7, you can.

Your problem may have several causes. Let's start with;
Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but it no longer recognizes your updated as version being approved. Now how do I solve the problem: to allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again.
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (for example, you are using the latest version).
- Delete Firefox to list your program of programs approved or recognized. For detailed instructions, see
Configure the firewall so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}

How can I install the new version of Firefox?
I had Firefox and then tried to upgrade to the new version. The Green install bar happens at about 80% and then finally message said: it has been discontinued. Now don't have any so, using the Firefox browser.
Try this:
- Download the installer of Firefox and save the file to the desktop
https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/all/ - Start the installation by double-clicking on the desktop icon
It is possible that antivirus software is causing problems.
Try disabling the anti-virus temporarily to see if that makes a difference. - Download the installer of Firefox and save the file to the desktop

When released the new version of Mozilla Firefox for Linux.
Whenever I open the browser, it continues to display the message that is earlier than the version of my browser.
But I cant Update since its not released yet for Linux.
Do not wait for the new Version to be published
Other than that, the browser is fast and easy to useYou seem to have the provided version of Firefox 35.0.1 Ubuntu
You can get the update of Firefox 39.0 of in on your distribution package manager or you can get Firefox from www.mozilla.org or www.mozilla.org/firefox/all
If you choose to mozilla.org , sure it is 64-bit as 32 bits will not run unless you have the appropriate packages.
Mozilla does not updates for versions of others, including the packages provided by Linux distributions.

I have google as my default homepage on my Mac. This morning when I opened Firefox Google home page fills the entire page, there is no menu or toolbar at the top of the page. I tried to click on F11 but it fills just the search bar with an f. I tried right clicking and clicking on 'ESC' but which does nothing. I tried to screw up my version of Firefox and download a new version, but when I opened it, it opened to the Google home page and there's still once a menu or toolbar. I did not restart my computer once I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I'll try that right now.
On Mac, command + shift + f should also switch between normal view and full screen.
Another method that may work is to drag the pointer of the mouse completely to the top of the screen. If the tab slides to the bottom bar, you can right click (Ctrl + click?) an empty area of the top (or right click on the button '+') and you should get a context menu runs with the option for Mode full-screen output.
Does it work?

The new version of Firfox save my passwords and in some cases, my customer identification numbers, even if the passwords for this site "Remember" in the security option is not checked. I don't use a master password. There are no entries in the list "password saved" so I'm not able to remove supposedly saved passwords.
To determine if one of your extensions could make logging in, could test you the page Firefox Safe Mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.
You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- Help menu > restart with disabled modules
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still works
After stops in Firefox, a small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not reset).
Any difference?

I always work hard and with Firefox. My customization assuming that it is transferred always organize buttons back and forward in the navigation bar on the right side which was convenient for a quick job. In the new version of Firefox 29.0.1 deleted the possibility of moving the navigation on the right side buttons... Firefox is not flexible enough for the user. Really sorry. Restored version of Firefox 28. More frequent to not remove the flexible adjustment of the navigation keys. Thank you.
28 Firefox has security flaws. It is not safe to use.
You can move the navigation buttons in Firefox 29 if you install an add-on.
- Classic restaurateur theme installation and restart Firefox when prompted.
- Open the modules (Ctrl + Shift + A Manager; Mac: Command + shift + A), then the Extensions category.
- Beside the classical restaurant theme, click on the Options button.
- On the main tab, make sure 'Mobile back-forward button' is checked. Close the options window when finished.
- Right-click on a zone empty of the tab bar and select Customize.
- Drag the previous/next buttons wherever you want.
- Click the Customize the output at the bottom right button when finished.

How to save bookmark to the new version of firefox?
The new version of firefox does not seem to be the ability to save bookmarks to a file. The instructions provided in support seem to be applicable to older versions. I saved favorites to a file several times before in earlier versions.
Thank you. I did not in the menu, but with the cursor over the bookmark logo, it is said to show your Favorites (Ctrl, shift, O) and which will get me there.
Problem solved.

where is (use TLS 1.0) in the new version of firefox?
Hello dear
In previous versions of your software as an option (use TLS 1.0) existed, but the new version doesn't have this option.
How can check this option?
Please guide.
Current Firefox no longer have a user interface to disable TLS or SSL3, but you can make the change on the subject: config page.
SSL3 and TLS 1.0 are enabled by default in the current version of Firefox.
You can set the preferences of security.tls.version.min and security.tls.version.max to 0 to disable TLS (0 means SSL3)You will need to close and restart Firefox after you change these prefs.
- Security.TLS.version.min = 0
- Security.TLS.version.max = 0
0 means SSL 3.0, 1 means TLS 1.0, 2 means TLS 1.1, etc.

The new version of Adobe Flash works in Safari. Apple thought that the old version of Adobe Flash had compromised safety, so Mac users can no longer use the old versions of Adobe Flash. A few settings in Firefox are not letting the update to the latest version of Adobe Flash work.
