Crashing Windows 7 - stop turn off.

I hope someone can help!

Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1, 5.2 Index, 2.4 Ghz dual Athlon, RAM 3 GB usable, 32-bit. Running CHROME and AVAST.

Everything worked perfectly for the last 2 years with the exception of the apparently random crashes when browsing, watch streaming, download (10 Windows for example). My laptop works perfectly even stream (buffer battery?).
When my machine crashes it turns off just completely!

Now try to switch to the window of 10. No icon in the toolbar.
Went to manually download and installation - window 10. All software downloads, checks OK, then 22% "media creation", IT CRASHES:

Reboot OK but internet access requires a RESET.

Closed AVAST, IExplorer updated and all upgrades.
I was told that I would need a buffer battery power but I never had outages power microphone on any other device!

Help please!

You remember the updates that you installed recently?

This problem normally occurs when updates could not set up within the system. It can also occur if there is no third-party program conflicts.

To resolve this problem, use the following methods, starting with the first method below. If it solves your problem, click on the following method.

Microsoft Security Essentials automatically disables the Defender because it has its own AntiSpyware component so it's normal. It is not recommended to run more than one AntiVirus program in real-time, as it could cause conflicts and slowdowns. You should probably choose Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials, not both. Both are very good. Microsoft® Security MVP, 2004-2010

  • Windows Defender is turned off at startup

    Hello

Whenever I start my computer, Windows Defender is disabled & I have to turn it on manually. It's funny, because on my start up programs, I set it up so that it starts when my computer starts, and yet it is always disabled.

Sometimes it lights fine, but other times it stays on until I try to do a scan. Sometimes, if I have a scanner, it turns off. I scanned my computer for viruses & malware but nothing came.

This started after I updated my AVG for AVG 2011 a month ago.

How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you.

Before the last update AVG my windows Defender would automatically go to the beginning upward. How can I get it to start automatically again?

    M.Roman25,
You have already been informed that AVG is supposed to turn Windows Defender because AVG has his own Defender.

But, if you insist to know how to turn on Windows Defender, here's how...
WARNING: you can't and you shouldn't have to, do that.
Prepare AVG if he stops again.

    Assuming you are using Vista:
Start button > in the search box, type Services> press the Enter key > scroll to find Windows Defender, click on it >...
topic status , it must be said... Has begun
under Startup Type, it must be said... Automatic
If it does not say that, right click on Windows Defender > click Properties >
in Startup Type, click on the pointer to the right and select automatic
to the service status, click Start
Click OK when finished. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Screen ACL in Windows 7 towers / turns off in 1 or 2 minutes on its own

Strange problem started recently. My computer laptop LCD screen turns off in 1 or 2 minutes on its own even to power cable. I checked and have already reset all power plans, but the screen seems to stop on its own. I was not able to understand the problem.

Also changes to the power management has no effect on this behavior. For example if I increase the delay before the screen stops at 10 minutes (with or without battery) it always closes the screen in 1 or 2 minutes

Can you please suggest what could be the problem.

  • Windows 7 Fund turns off every night?

All, I tried to wrap my mind around that nothing helps... I have a Windows 7 desktop that must stay on ALWAYS due to digital signage software. I checked Power Options and advanced settings to make sure that everything is set to NEVER turn off. I disabled Windows Update and Windows Firewall as well. I went through the Services and stop all services of the irrational as well as all uninstalled programs that are not needed. I even went through the BIOS to make sure there is nothing in there, causing the power off...

I have been unable to determine WHY it puts off the computer every night? In addition, this PC is connected to an inverter so I decided to dirty power...

Help or direction would be appreciated!

    Hello

I think I put the finger on the issue... I had to do some advanced marketing changes, specifically, it was that a framework of sleep (sleep) has been set at 1080... I don't know how I missed this parameter, but it seems to be the fix because he worked for a few days now.

Thank you for your help and advice!

  • "preparation configure windows - do not turn off computer.

message ' preparation set up windows - don't cut computer "appears upon reboot and shutdown.  The computer hangs up here, for hours, not of compensation until the next afternoon.  Did the same thing on the next reboot.  What can I do?

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer recently?
    2. are you able to login in safe mode?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Try to boot to the last good known Configuration.

Using the last good known Configuration:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-last-known-good-configuration

    Method 2:

If you are not able to connect to the last good known Configuration I suggest that you try to start in safe mode and check if it helps.

    Safe mode:

How to start in safe mode in Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

If you are able to start in safe mode, then I suggest to perform a restore of the system and check if it helps.

    System Restore:

Restore the system to a point when the computer was working fine.
    System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore

    Method 3:

If you are always faced with the question then I suggest to perform a repair installation and check if that helps.

Startup Repair using the Windows 7 installation disc: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/What-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7

Note: when running Startup Repair disk hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when the Startup Repair tool tries to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

Note: also, make sure that you have disconnected all external devices except the keyboard and mouse.

    Method 4:

If startup repair fails try restore the system from the windows recovery environment.

Open the menu Options on your computer system recovery and try to perform the system restore.

To do this, follow these steps.

    (a) remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer by using the power button on the computer.
    (b) do one of the following:
If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you must try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.
If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to repair, and then press and hold F8.
    (c) on the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight repair your computer and press ENTER. (If your computer is not listed as an option, then your computer doesn't understand no repair preinstalled recovery options, or your network administrator has disabled the.)
    (d) to select a keyboard layout and then click Next.
    (e) in the System Recovery Options menu, click a tool to open it.
    (f) select System Restore.

    More information consult:
