  I just built my first PC a few weeks ago for the sole purpose of editing with first Pro CC, but every time I have import any media and try to use the view, the program crashes. As long as I do not import, the program does not crash. After I imported, it will be crash without worrying if she still a picture or a video.  I even tried to load the project "Eagles_Doc_Final" which gives to Adobe, as practice and which will crash immediatelysince there is already media imported.

  Before importing anything, go to file > project settings > General and change the GPU acceleration for playback (software only) Mercury engine and see if that fixes the problem.

  There are many advantages over the use of DATAPUMP.

  You can import directly in to a NETWORK_LINK without using a Dump.

  You have many interesting features like COMPRESSION, FLASHBACK_SCN / _TIME *,...

  You can use the API in PL/SQL to perform your export / import instead of using the command line Interface.

  Increasingly, the DATAPUMP is much more optimized than the Original Export/Import and use path Direct or external Tables,... and what to say about REMAP_ % settings that allow you to rename files of data, schema, storage...

• Crashing after the import of the object/slide

  Hi all
  
  After that I imported slides in a project of A2 in another. Unable to save the destination project.
  
  The registration process starts, the progress poster full/full bar, but Captivate starts eating up to 98% of the processing power of the PC and never closes until I place the open Task Manager and kill the process.
  
  Anyone experienced this? More important, anyone know a fix?
  
  I have removed/reinstalled A2 twice now, but no progress.
  
  I'm running XP/SP2.

  I always use CP1 on a system similar to yours, then I hope the fix below works.
  Try to open both projects and select the slide you want in the original file, and then copy them to the destination file.

• Persistent bugs on the import and export in LR 2.5

  I had two separate problems with LR 2.5 (since 2.5 became available).

  IMPORT

  (It always happened to imports from my Canon 20 d, my 50 D from Canon both my Powershot D10.)  When I import a group of files, usually about 2 to 5 images loses all their metadata, including the size of the image, odds, etc.  The image returns a square shaded by an alert in the corner.  If I select the gray boxes, the image will appear after a few seconds, but the metadata are still lost.  The first attachment here comes from a screenshot showing 2 images lost their data - and you can see the tip of pop up indicating the size of the image as 'none x none '.  These images of problem cannot be dealt with in the develop Module.

  EXPORT

  When I export a group of pictures in a new folder on my drive (make copies in JPEG of TIFFs processed), not all images will appear in the catalog view.  The second attachment shows a screenshot of my situation (which happens almost everytime).  In the folder view, you can see that I exported 33 images in the "Pass1" folder to the new folder "Pass3".  As you can see, the file panel indicates that there are 33 images in the folder "Pass3", but if you look to the right for the numbering of image, there are only 31 present.  When I look at the file in Windows Explorer, there's actually 33 files there, and when I isolate the 2 files are not displayed, I tried to re - import, but close up in the same place.  I can assure you that there is no filter blocks all images.

  I suspect that these two bugs are related.  It really puts a monkey-tensioner in my workflow.  Can someone from Adobe please suggest a work around?  Or did someone knows what could happen here?

  Try to import an empty catalog. Perhaps your catalog is corrupted or Dorin's right and you have a problem of duplicates of hidden files. Check with a new/empty catalog will help you. In addition, make sure that the image you are trying to import are not CMYK.

• 36.0.4 Firefox crashes after the release and I can't uninstall it

  I am running Win XP on a 32-bit computer. I have Firefox installed 36.0.4. After I got out of Firefox some time later, I get an error message saying Firefox crashed.

  I have tried to uninstall it from the control panel of configuration/Add Remove Programs, but when I select Mozilla Firefox and delete, nothing happens.

  How can I remove Firefox from my PC, so that I can then update with a newer version?

  If it does not work. Try these:

  • Start > run > type regedit
  • Then go to HKey_Local Machine or Hkey_Current User
  • Scroll to the software on two people.
  • Search Mozilla and you should see Firefox. Delete all files of Firefox, you see.

• Premiere Pro CC 14 crashing during the import, export

  No 3rd party extension, just not the first

  The program worked fine until yesterday when I was trying to make a few simple changes of some sequences of GoPro together and first began to freeze and crash when the rendering and exporting. I thought it was a problem with the images, so I tried to import videos from my Canon XA20, I used earlier in the day, I knew that worked and now the first crashes when I try to import and move it to the timeline. I uninstalled and reinstalled the first and the problem has not been corrected. Here are two sets of error messages I've seen in the case of newspapers.

  You can install Palm desktop 4.1.4 on Vista. It does not it's compatible, but a lot of people have used and reported no problems.

  I posted the instructions for clean uninstall of palm desktop 6.2 and the installation of palm desktop 4.1.4 in the last post. Docs allows you to version 6, which is compatible with your handheld.

• During the import and the export dialog (save under) the Mavericks search disappears.

  When I'm changing the name and export location a video of first Pro CC in the Mavericks, the dialogue box Finder that is to choose the location disappears when I try to look for a new location.  It happens so in Adobe Media Encoder.  Is not the case in After Effects or any other application from what I can tell so far.  Import dialog has a similar problem.  My OS stuff and CC is all day including overnight effects 12.0.1 patch.  Submitted a bug report to Adobe.  Does anyone else know this?

  I was talking to somebody on another team today and they said that this could be a problem with cover flow in the Finder view of the (save as) dialog.  If you think that this applies to you, go in list or grid mode and see if that changes anything.

• What is the best way to import and export images from the 5 d Mark II?

  I have just finished what I plan my first masterpiece of shooting film.  Shot on the Canon 5 d (1080 p, 24 fps), and the film looks amazing.  Now, I'm ready to start editing and now use creating lately, but I still have to figure out the proper conduct.  I want to know the best way to keep the resolution before I dive into this project.

  My questions:

  (1) what is the best way to start a new project and import the images without having to make while editing, in order to keep all the resolution and the originality of the source footage?

  (2) what is the best way / codec / format to export these images even once done editing to maintain than crisp 1080 p for which the 5 d is therefore counted?

  (3) what is the best way / codec / format for import and export / rendering between the first and after effects?  I speak especially of Visual effects and color correction.  I also a few sequences of 30 images per second that I intend to slow down in AE and then import into first.

  I know that it's wide enough, but as a solo Director I really need advice from someone.  Rarely, I finished my films with the same look crispy as images.  I need help of pipeline and really appreciate it!

• LR 6.2.1 - pictures (previews and views complete) turn into black after the import

  After the import, all the photos of change to black (in library and also to develop)

  I tried to activate / disable the extra graphics processor without success.

  It's the same thing on the 40 d and also on D 70.

  Pictures are saved in RAW, imported they come out of the camera.

  Please follow the steps below:

  1. Disable apply tone controls auto under Lightroom preferences > Presets tab
  2. Restart Lightroom and then import images again.
