create the executable (*.exe) file

I could create and executable file (*.exe), but it does not all libraries (*.dll) necessary, IE NIVIsSVc.dll, imaq1349.dll... So I was wondering if someone could guide me to create an executable file with all the necessary libraries to run on a different machine? I have LabView 8.2.1 and XP OS. My *.exe file is to capture an image of the camera (FirWire 1394) and save it in a file on the hard drive.

Thank you

Shaun

SC1,

Unfortunatley LabVIEW get where the drivers have been installed since. This is to ensure that the same versions of the driver are in LabVIEW and the installation program that you created. The best way to work around this problem in your situation is to reinstall the drivers from your hard drive. You can download the drivers on our website linked below. In the future if you plan to create many installers, copy the contents of the CD driver on your hard drive and install from there. I made a suggestion of product in the past, to make it an easier process. If you want that this so, please visit our product suggestion Center below the link.

  • Windows does not recognize the executable .exe files

On two of the three user accounts, when I click on an executable or shortcut to one (even Notepad or other), I get a dialog popup asking what program I want to use to open this - as if an extension is not recognized. (Other extensions are recognized - click on a .txt file, it will open it in Notepad.) It is both my children login accounts.

My account login works fine. Is there nothing actually wrong with the executibles - if I use my login and W. Explorer allows to activate a .exe or the shortcut of my son's Office, it works fine. My account was original one fixed upward with the purchase of computer, the other two were created after (but more than a year ago and well until recently).

Possible of information: I don't know the exact timeline, but I heard of this problem at the same time, that we picked up a Trojan horse in this account, called "XP Total Security". Since cleaned up this infection using a trial version of an application of registry cleaning, but the problem existed before cleaning - don't know if before the Trojan infection or not.

New accounts work fine - at least so far. If I create a new user account, so far all executibles work very well.

No idea what might have caused it, and how it can be fixed?

  • Cannot run the install.exe file...

I have a PC laptop toshiba a500-025 with the following specifications:

    4 GB of ram
    Radeon ati hd4570 512 MB
    2.1 intel centrino
    Vista 64-bit
I downloaded assassins creed... and when I click on the install.exe file, it says the following: "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows that you are running.
check your computers sysytem information if you require a version 86(32 bit) x or x 64(64 bit) of the program and communicate with the editor.
Help... Ive waited a long time for this game... downloaded and now it does not work!

Do you have this of Direct2Drive?  Basically, the original Assassin's Creed v1.0 is compatible not 64-bit.  You need to have the v1.02 patch.  Available here.  Although I don't think you can install the hotfix without first installing the game.  If you need a more recent copy of the game.  If you buy it on Steam, it will not work.  But if you have the Direct2Drive version, you might have missed the system requirements specifying that you need a 32 bit OS to play.

  • I am trying to reset windows xp back to the original settings, but miss me the winnt32.exe file. Where can I go to get the download

I don't have a winnt32.exe in the i386 folder. My computer behaves very strange sometimes. It drags, freezes and load things on that I do not click.

You can download SP3 from HERECOMPUTER. Save it to your desktop. Use an extraction of files such as WnRar software to extract the service pack 3 you downloaded to extract the files in the C drive. Once the files have been extracted, click Start > run and paste the command below > click Ok. This should install the recovery console.

    C:\\i386\winnt32.exe cmdcons

In addition, the i386 folder will contain the winnt32.exe file you requested.

KB2628259 doesn't install, cannot create the directory or file. Anyone know of a solution?

    Hi dakota25,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You are able to install other updates successfully?

    ·         You get the error message?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

  • the csrss.exe file is missing

I was downloading addons for a game on the internet and then later the next time I turned on my computer, it said I was missing the csrss.exe file and so I searched for it looking to see if I somehow accidentally moved and he didn't so I was wondering if there is anyway I might get this file without reformat my computer and reinstall windows xp

How can I get a new file csrss.exe

    MD5: f12b178b1678d778cfd3ff1fc38c71fb

    File size: 6144 bytes
This confirms my suspicions you have (or had) malware. This version of csrss.exe is for service Pack 2 of Windows XP.
You really need to run MBAM.
But despite this, if you run at the SP2 level, it is unclear what might make its way onto your PC. There are some out there extremely difficult to detect rootkits. You find you might need to perform a clean installation. If you would rather fight infection, you can always look for guided help:
  • How to obtain the bcupdate2.exe file? __

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

If you get a message stating that the file NTLDR is missing, it is unlikely that the bcupdate.exe file will solve the problem, but you can download it from my SkyDrive if you want.  I've never used it to fix anything and if you see this message, it's probably not your problem.

You should also start a new thread/question for your question - no one is going to look at this thread that is older than a year.  Start a new thread/question in order to get some attention.

I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:
    http://CID-6a7e789cab1d6f39.SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?RESID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

When you see the files available for download, you will not see the extension of file (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, etc), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, it cannot save the file with an extension (for example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys) then you will need to add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file called rundll32 when the name of the file should really be called rundll32.exe (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work

You have to put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.

  • Problems with the sound on my PC (i.e., no noise at all). m ' said that the Sndvol32.exe file is missing

I have problems with the sound on my PC (i.e., no noise at all).  He told me that the Sndvol32.exe file is missing.  I went through the 'fix - it' and the solution is to extract the file from the Windows XP CD.  My PC did not come with it - otherwise, how can I get this file?  Thanks in advance!

Most of the people do not have a genuine XP bootable CD.   This is good advice if you have a true bootbale CD, but given that the majority of people have never seen one in their life, why start there?  That's why this kind of troubleshooting tips kill me...

The fix it will not help you.

    This will help you:

I downloaded a copy of the file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\System32
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files).

You have to put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.

That may not solve all your problems, but at least you will be spending this part and we can then fix the rest.

Of course the file must never be missing, so something has badly haywire.

Try first to unplug the mass storage device, then reconnect and format it by Righ click on Format.

Then try to paste these files on this USB key again.
