• Creating a s:list via AS3 does not display the data?

  If I do something like this in the list appears on the screen but does not show the items in the dataprovider.  If I throw the list via MXML tags it appears fine.  Any suggestions?  And Yes, I know the data is there because it works when you use a MXML of the list version.

  I use jdev 12.1.2.

  I have a question about stale view object and entity data object.  My use case is: I have an af:table bound to data that I use to insert a new row in the database.  I create the line with a call from createWithParams, and everything works fine with it.  I call commit on the application module that contains the view object, and the data is correctly inserted in the database table.  Then, as part of my needs, I call vo.executeQuery () on the view object, however the newly inserted row is not present in the af: table or view object.  The line does not appear until I leave my application and return to it.  Once I do this, the line is in the object view and appears correctly in the table.

  It is not enough that I need the view object to be aware of the new line (s) without having to restart the application.  Y at - it a setting I am missing in my display object?  I guess my entity object contains stale data, but I don't know how to refresh its data.  Thanks for reading.

• With Firefox 9.0.1 an application using a JavaScript confirm command does not display the message. Blocker is disabled for the domain of the application.

  It turns out that Firefox has become a little more picky about the standards that IE. (Imagine that!) Code created the entries of type = 'text' hidden, then calls a javascript function and the values passed in the entries hidden as parameters. The original code just pass the name of the entry as a variable. Then, the Firefox console complained that the variable was not declared. Once I spent the variable.value, then the error disappeared, Firefox has been happy, does not break IE, so I'm happy.

  I have windows xp service pack 3.  I am trying to install itunes, which I downloaded from the itunes site, and it wont let me install.  When I run the program it still displays the message above...   Method 1

  Check and make sure that the Windows service install is running on the computer.

  (a) click Start, click run , and then type services.msc in the dialog box and then press enter to open Services.

  (b) right click on the Windows Installer service and then click Properties.

  (c) if the box Startup type is set to Disabled, change it to Manual.

  (d) click on OK to close the Properties window.

  (e) right click on the Windows Installer service and then click Start. The service should start without errors.

  (f) click on the file menu, and then click exit.

  If you're talking about a bunch of creative cloud... I met the same problem, after you run the MSI progress bar would roll back and then nothing.  I saw it as UAC that was interfering with the installation even if I am logged in as an administrator.  Try disabling UAC and see what happens.

  I have created a merge document and mail merge in word using an excel sheet spread as a data source.  Initially, no sign of £ showed in the document among other formatting problems.  I have (finally) found help explaining that I should use MS Excel via a DDE data sheets - I tried this but it seems to corrupt the data so that the column that contains say '1 names' contains "price data", "address" line contains the data of 'comments', making the e-mail merge nonsense.

  If you use an alternative data source is CBO or something all NFL results (which wasn't shown on the worksheet) appear in the mail merge '0' both are unacceptable.

  Surely I'm not the only person to meet these challenges is the software never tested before being sold where is the help manual, I tried to use the online help but will not accept my product key.  All solutions provide the most basic assistance but my documents are fairly complex something computers should be good.  I lost most of today on this.  Sometimes I think it would be faster to type these longhand things than to use a Microsoft product.
