Creating a hyperlink of an image in a pdf document that opens the Outlook e-mail

I use Adobe Acrobat 8.1 and try to create a link in a PDF document so that with READER 7.0 or higher, when a recipient clicks on an image (object) it will gain access to Outlook and opens a new e-mail that the recipient can fill and then send! It is through a hyperlink? Not sure and I would appreciate any help that could be offered. Thank you.

Add a web link with the link tool. As the web link target specify something like: mailto:[email protected].

  • How to move an image in a pdf document?

    I want to move an image in a pdf document in 3 possible specific locations.

    I tried these: -.

    1) created an image, creating a button and by defining a button image on it, but then I can't find the commands to move the button

    So if you could give me commands to move a button, that will be great.

    I tried something else.

    (2) I put the button anywhere but deleted the icon of him, so it seems empty.

    Runtime I have apply the name of the image on one of the 3 buttons so it seemed that the button moves one of the three locations to another.

    for example: -.

    Button1.image ="";

    Button2.image = "img.jpg";

    Button3.image ="";

    so, it looks like the iamge of location 1 or 3-2.

    I tried to use this command to dynamically set the image to an icon that initially has no image, but it does not work

    IAFormApp formApp;

    MyFields IFields = (IFields) formApp.Fields;

    IEnumerator myEnumerator = myFields.GetEnumerator ();

    While (myEnumerator

    {

    myField = (IField) myEnumerator.Current;

    If (myField.Name == "btnPage4L")

    myField.SetButtonIcon("",@"C:\ACK-SDK\colorrisk.jpg",4);

    }

    There is no documentation at all on the SetButtonIcon, not in the SDK, and not on the internet.

    Based on the code you have posted and your question, it sounds like

    you have never read the documentation. The Acrobat API is not "discoverable."

    you need to read the documentation that accompanies it. Take a look at this

    page-

    http://livedocs.Adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/10/Acrobat10_HTMLHelp/IAC_API_FormsIntro.107.11.html

    -It describes the function of SetButtonIcon and it lists it as the three

    parameters are supposed to be. In your example code, you are passing in a

    the empty string as the first parameter. This can work (I don't know if it)

    does), but even if it does, it would be undocumented behavior. You need

    to provide one of the codes listed in the documentation. In addition, the last

    parameter is the page number that is retrieved from the PDF file to use

    as your button image. Even if you can use a JPEG, the value "4".

    would certainly wrong.

    Please read the documentation provided with the API, it will save you

    a lot of time and frustration.

    To answer question you directly, no, you can't do nothing to prevent a valid PDF file opens in a non Adobe Reader, for better or worse.

    How I see the preview image of my PDF documents?

    Hi josepm26085232,

    Preview of thumbnails has been disabled in the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC due to security problem.

    If you want this feature, you will need to uninstall the latest version & reinstall the old version of the Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distributiondrive.

    Kind regards

  • What is the maximum size of the image (in pixels) a height that supports the Muse? I noticed that if the photo is too high, reduce the Muses. Thank you

    What is the maximum size of the image (in pixels) a height that supports the Muse? I noticed that if the photo is too high, reduce the Muses.

    Thank you

    If you place an image with a height or width greater than 2048 pixels - in Muse - Muse will scale the image down proportionately, limiting the larger size to 2048.

    However, if you want to use the picture to its original size, you can move the image to the desired size by dragging handles to resize, or by entering values for height and width in the strip control on top. After that, go to the active panel and locate the image, then right-click on this image in the active panel and choose "import of large size. Which would bring the image lost the original image information.

    Hope that gives you clarity on what you wanted to know.

    See you soon,.

  • Can I create a hyperlink to an image file in a dreamweaver document?

    I have a gif image in a document, dreamweaver (CS4).  I want to select separate parts of this image and create hyperlinks to them.  I know how to create hyperlinks to the text specific objects or separate images, but I want to part of the image to be linked to one place and the image linked elsewhere.  I thought that I had done in the past (it seems that the part I wanted all yellowed), but now I can't figure out how to get a selected article.  This can be done?

    Would appreciate the help here.

    It is not a background image, look how to create Hotspots in the DW help files.

    Hotspots apply to background images.

  • Ribbon of PDF for printing of the Outlook Messages that retain active hyperlinks to the attachments

    Office in particular Outlook 2013, 2013, lost the PDF Ribbon - used to be able to print e-mails in PDF format, including attachments - and Acrobat X Standard would leave hyperlinks in the e-mail message to registered PDF attachments.  We could open the files of registered attachment directly from the registered email.  This feature is now gone.  Acrobat Standard XI restores this feature?  What version of DC of 2015?

    The problem is that each version of Acrobat must be customized by Adobe in interface with new versions of Outlook. Interfaces and formats (not PDF format) changes.

    Acrobat 10 support Office 2010 which was in force at the time Acrobat 10 was the current version of Acrobat. Acrobat 11 support added for office 2013 / Office 365. DC of Acrobat supports Office 2010 and 2013 office / Office 365 and, likely, the next version of Office when released.

  • Change the color of the image in a PDF document

    I have a form that must be used with OCR software. What is shown must be in a light red color that the scanner will not pick up allowing it to treat only the information provided on the form.

    The problem is that, when printing, lines and red letters are too dark, so that the scanner does not ignore them as it should.

    I would like to use Acrobat 9 Pro to lighten the color, but I'm not having a bit of luck to find how to do this. I do not know if I have the right tool for the job.

    In the old school image capture, red is the equivalent of black - it's a matter of spectrum of wavelength (?) and always picked up.

    Blue - specifically light blue is never returned.

    I don't know what breed the colors the image analyzes the process of capture and not...

    Acrobat is not the best tool, however. In Acrobat Pro, you are able (to some extent) to select objects and images, then open them in the default value of the operating system for the type of image selected for change:

    -If you select a vector object, Acrobat opens the object in Illustrator (or the OS default request with vector images?)

    -If you select an object based raster/pixel, Acrobat will open the object in Photoshop (or the OS default application with raster/pixel based images?)

    Changes are made outside the Acrobat, saved, and Acrobat updates in.

    How is this printed material? IMO, should be changed in the design program until the document is a final pdf.

  • Can I create a PDF document that can be commented by others using the PLAYER

    I have dozens (hundreds?) of PDF books I bought. One who created made them if anyone using Adobe Reader 5 or can be done better highlights and comments on the text.  I use the function to correct typos and send to the Publisher. I know this is possible because I've done it for several years before I ever get Adobe Standard.

    So... My question is... How can I create documents like this that can be placed in the comments on the use of Adobe Reader? I have Adobe 8 Standard and I don't see this as a separate Adobe Pro feature. and I hope Miss me just instructions on how it's done. I don't have any problem to do what I want to use Adobe 8 Standard, but I need to be able to make it feasible in Reader so that others can make comments in my documents.

    Thank you for taking the time...

    'Enable usage rights in Adobe Reader' or "Extend the functionality of Adobe Reader"
    are available with Acrobat 8 Professional / 3D version 8 or Acrobat Professional / Pro Extended respectively.
    In addition, Adobe provides basic service (LiveCycle ES) server that "active / extends" PDF as Adobe Reader can be used for observation, examination, Digital Signature, etc..

    You can use Adobe Reader to comment on PDF files means a requests above were used.
    Because you mentioned that PDFs are purchased the manuals in PDF format, I suspect that LiveCycle ES was used.
    This application based on the server (which has a myriad of 'modules' available) is expensive so, in general, it is allowed by the companies that need its features. Examples: the majors publishers or Government agencies (e.g., IRS).

    If you move upward, to Acrobat Professional, that you will be able to "extend features in Adobe Reader ' such that others can run comments & reviews on your PDF documents.

    As Acrobat 9.x is the current version, marketed as the professional version would be made available via an upgrade (do not be confused with the free "updates").

    Be well...

  • Creating a hyperlink on an image ruin my whole layout!

    Hi guys,.

    I use Dreamweaver in the school for some time, but now he's using at the University, and the CS3 version.

    I'm no expert in Web sites and I am used to creating a site in fireworks or photoshop (now), then cut out and import into dreamweaver. I did it with my last site, but I have some weird problem I've ever had before.

    Here's how my page looks like without my image (enter key) inked to my homepage (main.html)

    "" "" < a href = " http://s255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/marceta/?action=view & current = site_before.jpg ' target = '_blank' > < img src =" http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/marceta/site_before.jpg " border ="0"alt ="Photobucket"> < /a >

    OK now when I have the link (I tried dragging the crosshair next ot the box and the manual method of types in), this is the case and that the whole page seems screwed up.

    "" "" < a href = " http://s255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/marceta/?action=view & current = site_after.jpg ' target = '_blank' > < img src =" http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/marceta/site_after.jpg " border ="0"alt ="Photobucket"> < /a >

    It's really annoying, as happens in all pages no matter what I link. How should I do? It of almost as if the a href tag increases the size of the image, or adds an invisible border that I can't get rid of. I'm sure that anyone with half a brain on web - dev will be easily able to tell me the setting for this problem. I don't want to resort to using the clickable images.

    Thank you very much in advance,

    Peter Marceta

    \EDIT: sorry about the images... I tried tags bbcode [IMG] but then made counts that they would not work, but I couldn't get the HTML code to not work. Just like the links and this should work.

    You can try this hairstyle:

    IMG {}
    Display: block;
    border: none;
    }

  • How to create a button that opens the attachment (file power point attached to the pdf document)

    Hello world!

    The question is in the title.

    How to create a button in Acrobat Pro to open a file attached to PDF?

    I have moved your question to one of the forums of Acrobat, first.

    If the target file is not a PDF file you need to use a script to do it. The structure of the script would be something like this:

    this.exportDataObject ({cName: "Name of the attachment.ppt file", nLaunch: 2});

  • Creating PDF with a page of my PDF links I can't scroll or view, PDF document jumps to the next page. Help!

    Hi Forum,

    I created a page 14 PDF with Adobe Acrobat XI. When I try to view the page 13 (scrolling or just by clicking on the thumbnails page) it jumps more than 13 or 14 or goes back to 12. It started after the creation of links in the PDF file in the pages of 2nd and 3rd to some page views. Is there a maximum? Right now, I have about 20 or more in the document. I updated Adobe and restarted my machine. Same problem exists. Thank you!

    Too bad! I just thought of it. I had a link on the page which, for some reason, was set to open up to page 12. Not sure how it happened. Oy!

    Thanks a lot for your help.

  • How to remove the copy of an image in a pdf document

    I'm trying to figure out how to remove the copy of an image of product figure in a Board tech in PDF format.

    It is not possible to do. If the text is a part of the image, it is not possible. If it's live text superimposed on a picture, you can remove it, but you would need the full version of Acrobat and not the free player.

    Who would assume also there is no restriction on the possibility of modifying the document.
