Creation of DVD and files

From Windows 7 to 10, I lost the ability to view DVD files on computer as well as ability to continue its work on another DVD and DVD Maker. It seems that 10 widows does not recognize msdvd files that I generated with Windows 7. Why in the world would Microsoft only write off such an important feature? What can I do? Is it possible to download only Windows 7 DVD Maker?

  • How do I burn a file .img to a DVD and have it be an executable file?

How do I burn a file .img to a DVD and have it be an executable file?

It seems that used to be possible using disk utility, but not more for some reason any.

    Hi Frank

Not sure, what do you mean by executable video file, assume you mean play on a DVD player.

You create an image file to DVD in iMovie, FCPX etc... This allows the correct coding and the structure files for DVD, s / BDs.

Once you have the .img file, you can (control) click on the file and choose ' burn Image 'File name' disk drive...» »

Be aware that you need a R/W drive mounted/Secretary for the contextual elements appear. If you have a Blu - ray image, you need a BD player. Your file must be less than 4.7 GB for single DVDs faces or ~8.2GB for the DVD DLs. to 100GBs for quad layer BDs.

There are other 3rd party there as well.

    Hope this helps, Greg

-creating new project and collage of clips inside

-creation of new project at a different pace (the images were shot in 29.97, tried exporting 29.97 and 23.98)

-delete the files again rendered rendering and export of projects

-DVD / master file of exports (h.264, ProRes LT) all the same problems of gel experience.

Problems related to Windows DVD Maker!

I made a movie in windows movie maker. Some video and music files had disappeared, so I find the files and video read smoothly without any problems. When I tried to publish it on a DVD in DVD creation windows, the message saying that it cannot find at least one of the files it contains and I have to locate the files and try again. • DVD (and iDVD) die?  If so, what is the alternative?

    Hi all

I LOVE iMovie 6 (iMovie HD) and iDVD.  I was use to edit and produce my own films at home for years.  I like to create DVDs from pleasure and share with my family and my friends.

The problem is that it seems that the days of DVD are numbered...  New computers come with a DVD player, and most people do not use their DVD players a lot more thanks to streaming services such as NetFlix, Hulu, Amazon, etc...

So my question is this: a DVD player will soon be like old VCRs that some of us still have?  Large boxes, collector of dust, but we can not totally get rid of them because we have a few VHS tapes favorite that we "might" want to play some time?

If DVD and DVD players disappear...  What will I do with my movies at home?

I understand that I could post them on YouTube, but this seems crazy, because I have a lot of home movies!  In addition, I really like the features of a DVD as chapters and be able to create a DVD with several individual films on it.

What I would REALLY like is to be able to create a "DVD", but store it in a flash drive and then a program or something that allows you to my friends and family get the flash drive on their smart TV (or computers) and allow them to access the 'DVD' as if there were a real DVD with all the options of origin that would be available on a disc.

Someone you understand what I mean?  And if yes, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for the future of the movies at home after the death of DVD have?

    Thank you!

    Lincoln

    Agreed.

To burn a DVD with the latest version of iMovie's iDVD, you must export the movie using the export button and select 480 p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, and then drag this file in the sequence exported to iDVD menu window, avoiding the drop areas that see you.

I am trying to burn pictures of Media Center on a DVD. When I click on a folder to add, it does not copy the file, but all the individual photos in the folder.  I would have categorized folders on the DVD and but it is creating a list of 2000 photos.  I was able to burn a DVD with files by choosing Select all, but since I have too many files it copied only the first 12 I.  I use Media Center with Windows XP.

  • Hello! I have a laptop HP Compaq 6730 s with a windows XP SP2 OS. I need help with my drive burning/writing speed CD/DVD and its ability to play DVD. __

There an Optiac DVD RW AD-7561 pilot. Before it used to have a 8 X read speed and a 8 X write speed, I can see via NERO everytime I have will burn a DVD. But now the writing speed has become 2 X and therefore more adjustable from a NERO software. And also I tried to burn a DVD every time, he finished but it does'nt displays data that has been burnt at all... I already tried to uninstall this software, rebooted and installing it, thinking that this might well be the cause of the problem, but it's always the same. I even tried to install Roxio 9, hoping that this will solve the problem, but it still shows the same write speed 2 X... His ability to read and burn to a CD is fine, but the problem is when it comes to DVD's just makes a strange noise and takes a long time before displaying the content of the DVD and its ability to burn a data file on a DVD...

Before this problem occurred, I remember I have inserted a DVD and tried to copy paste its content on my desktop. But while the copy is in progress, I accidentally typed on the eject button while trying to reach for my cell phone, which was placed next to the my laptop cd/dvd drive.

IM desperate and I need an experts'advise on what to do...

  • Can I get software to download a home dvd and burn a copy?

    Original title: BURN DVD

I HAVE a DELL OPTIPLEX 360 to the WINDOwS VISTA HELP. CAN I GET SOFTWARE TO DOWNLOAD A DVD'S HOUSE AND BURN A COPY?

I don't know about the material. I do not know if this model Dell (who ha a few years about it) can burn a DVD.

The DVD I want to copy was done by a friend of photos taken during a trip. She has created a DVD of all the photos slide show (with its added). If I want to download the DVD so I can copy it to a blank DVD.

I can upload photos and burn them to a CD, but this software cannot download and burn a DVD.

    =====================================
A very simple method to copy a home made
non-Copie protected DVD is to create an ISO image
the image of the finished DVD and then burn ISO
about as many copies as you want.

First... just a suggestion... using a slow burn speed
    produces a more reliable copy...

The freeware ImgBurn can create an ISO Image
that allows to burn copies. Once you have the
image created... you can use it to burn as many copies
    as you need.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

Ignore most of the download buttons and click to the left of the
green circle with the white arrow... He says...

    Download ImgBurn:

    (The download is: SetupImgBurn_2.5.8.0.exe)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8)

(During the installation there will be an option to install
Trust toolbar, you can select Custom
Installation and install disable it) (in addition, the)
installation of Hotspot Shield can be disabled by selecting

I have movies at home I want to rip from a DVD and burn another DVD. Is that possible with WMP 11 or do I have to buy software for the specific task? The DVD I have is DVD + R, I want to burn to a DVD-R format so it will play on my DVD player.

    =====================================
Windows Media Player will not rip a DVD but there is no
reason for ripping a DVD homemade that contains movies at home.

Homemade (copy unprotected) DVD is easy...
Simply insert the DVD in your DVD player... to... Start /.
Computer... right click on the DVD drive icon and
Choose explores... you should see the directory of the DVD.

    File 'VIDEO_TS' Now... Copy/Paste or drag/drop...the
from the DVD in a new folder (renamed to)
the DVD corresponding) on your hard drive and what's.

If you have VLC Media Player on your system (for example)
you could click with the right button on the VIDEO_TS folder and choose...
"Play with VLC Media Player" and the video will play.

These files can be several gigabytes that copy makes
    some time... have patience.

Now... If you want to duplicate the DVD... What follows
Freeware can create an ISO Image of the DVD and
Then you can burn the ISO Image on as many copies
    that you wish.
