  There is a solution, but we hope to tackle an update to the application of CC. Certainly, we intend to 'play nice' with spaces.

  For your convenience, here is the relevant part with the workaround:

  Detach the creative cloud application in the menu bar, and open as a window instead.

  1. In the creative cloud application window, click the gear icon
  2. Choose open window
  3. In the gear icon, choose Preferences
  4. Uncheck the box attach window menu bar icon

  Note: once you choose these settings, the application is always accessible by clicking on the menu bar icon, but open is no longer automatically whenever you switch between spaces.

  Adobe desktop CC application runs after all and it is accessible via a black and white icon on the upper right corner of the screen next to the WiFi indicator and clock. Impossible to access otherwise, but it works very well, so everything is good.

  I am running Windows 8.1 and try to get a first time install desktop creative cloud. I tried all the help suggestions that I can find, including:

  (1) stop all other Adobe processes during installation
