Creator of interactive overlay

Hello

Anyone know where I can download the utility of additional AIR, the creator of Interactive superposition?

I downloaded the content generator and tutorials a month ago and have only got round to play with him now and it seems that I need the creator of interactive superposition.

It seems that there were a few developments since I downloaded the tools and perhaps these downloads are not available any longer?

If anyone knows anything or you can send me a link to download it would be great.

See you soon,.

Jamie

"Some development" is a serious understatement. At this point, you will need to download the publishing tools.

Links to tools of Mac/Win CS5/CS5.5 are here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/900/cpsid_90002.html

  • With the help of Flash CC for interactive overlays in video (HTML5)

We can do with Flash CC?

Basically, I want to take a video that we produced and exported and then add links or other popup data that appear on the screen during specific parts of the video. These links when you press on start paused the video and open a browser window. This document must then be exported in a format compatible HTML5 that would work with the local video file.

    Thank you!

Yes, you can use the easeljs bitmap class play video and a loop of ticker to determine times to display data from popup/links etc.

  • Superposition of creator - check boxes does not

Can anyone help? Since the lion updated no checkboxes don't work in the overlay creator, all other checkboxes in indesign work, only the creator of the overlay. I have all the updates of DPS. We just signed the contract of 1 year for DPS, but it will take 10 days to activate and we have no gold in this period support...

    Anyone?

I hope so. First of all, you can try to delete InDesign preferences. Start InDesign from the Finder, and then immediately hold the keys of change(Option-shift-command)and then click Yes to remove. If this does not work, reinstall the producer Folio tools. No one who goes to work, answer and we'll go from there.

  • Link Hypertext & Web view

In the new InDesign 5.5, the link Hypertext & Web view only seem to be able to work in the Overlay of the Creator window Preview / Panel.

But when I saw it by Folio Builder and the iPad, both of this interactive overlay does not work.

The rest of the features like Pan, Video etc all works well.

    Can someone please?

    Thank you!

OK, I was able to recreate the problem with hyperlinks and I went ahead and submitted a bug report to Adobe.  The key question, however, I wasn't able to recreate.  Check a few things and let me know if it fixes the problem.

With your button, make sure that you have "navto://articlename" make sure that the name of the article is the same way, it appears in the Panel (which must match the name of acrobat.com) so not 'articlename_h' or 'articlename_folio' or something like that.  Update section of the folio builder Panel... and preview the FOLIO group level.  If she does not have article you made navto it will not work.

Let me know if it helps

  • Read access to planning applications.

    Hi gurus

Is it possible to give read access for planning through HSS applications? similar to 'Read' access to essbase applications? I m in 11.1.2.1 and commissioning Options, we are Analytic Services write, Cube creator, Director, interactive user access, manage models, distribution of mass, Planner, Provisioning Manager, user of the view. Single user view sounds just for read access I need. If I select a read access, it seems that I need to give access to all forms, dimensions (members) access in reading in every app plannign etc... Is there a default role for all the read access for planning applications?

    Thank you

    rrK

Planning security is different from security Essbase. You must provide a read access to your secured dimensions to him visualize the dimensions. same thing applies to forms.

  • Adobe CS5 DPS plug in question

I just downloaded the Digital Publishing Suite for Adobe Indesign CS5 and I have a few problems to work with the Overlay and Folio Builder creator tools.

The problem with the creator of the Overlay is the Pan and Zoom function. I managed to put a text frame with, in a setting (trying to create content drop down) but when I go to the Pan tool and Zoom, I have no option available. All I get is "select crop image frame is the display area in which the Image pans. I chose both the text and the image containing it (even selecting them separately) but there is still no future option of this feature.

Next is the Folio Builder. I tried to sign in with my Adobe ID, but I always get the error log.

Is this Plug in still support CS5 or I do something wrong?

CS5 is not supported for DPS. You¹ll have CS6 or creative cloud.

  • Adobe DPS - programming link to a layer and close the popup button

    Hello world

Two quick questions and hope that you can advise

    (1) how to link a button on a layer to a contextual layer in article - IE: report on the base layer and the material to a pop-up when you click another layer to display.

    (2) exactly how should I ask a button to close a layer and return to the starting point (if it is not an object of State Multi?-say a Photo you want to see in a larger size to appreciate it...) Is it just planning to hide this layer or another way?).

    Thank you: Daz

You must be a subject of multiple State, MSO, which contains the information of your popup. This will trigger from an action of tap from a button or a hyper link. In my MSO pop-ups, I created the first State with an empty object. The State that contains the pop-up will have a button/hyperlink using one pass to the action of the State pointed to State 1, the object is empty.

  • Web Viewer: Best practices and Limitations

The opportunity to share our publication online via a web viewer is an asset to have. However, I noticed some blockages in two folios, we have made available online: videos suddenly stop playing; slow scrolling pages are not completely accessible to see; interactivity does not work in different browsers. I wonder if there is any documentation or advice to ensure a smoother experience across all display options.

    Hello

Thanks for the additional details. We look at the issues you reported and have a few comments.

Here are a few quick notes for each of the elements.

    -Video suddenly stop playing.

We had a new web viewer updated today, and this seems to have solved the problem with the video stopping on this article.

    http://ContentViewer.Adobe.com/s/Airman%20Magazine/c31b3f6bf51348f280a8bf8e57d33ee4/2013-0 6/7%20SUMMITS%20SIDEBAR.html

In this article, there is a play button placed inside the OSM. ASM has been put to play as a slide show and the loop. It was originally an interaction with the video that caused it close. We have made some changes to the way video MSOs interact in this latest version, and that avoids this problem.

Yet, in this case, apparently not necessary to use the DSO or even a button. For videos full screen like this, you can simply create the video overlay on the image of the button. With videos full screen, the area of overlay that you define behaves like a button "play" without you having to add explicitly one.

-Scroll effect slow pages are not completely accessible for display

We have also looked at this article and are able to reproduce the problem. As we develop a solution, we will work to get to a workaround to help you avoid this problem. We'll post here when we have some suggestions for you.

-Interactivity does not work properly in different browsers

We have experienced some problems with certain types of content in Internet Explorer. We are working on some improvements to help reduce these.

I will address the two items that you referenced separately.

    -Multi-state objects does not properly

There are some limitations with IE when it comes to the way it handles the interaction events. In this case, the layout of the content can be slightly adjusted to avoid this problem. I noticed that the positioning of several ESM is a little bit off.

For example, the "VISUALS4" MSO is supposed to appear on the fourth page (index of the #3 page). However, if you look carefully at the InDesign file, you will see at the top of the OSM superimposed on the previous page of two pixels. As layering begins on the previous page, this is how it is rendered. Most modern browsers can handle this correctly, but it affects the stacking order in a way that causes a problem with IE.

If you move all WHO the problem a few pixels to make sure that the upper part of the WHO is aligned with the top of the page, it should work properly in Internet Explorer.

-Overlay of the play button has somehow to only changed the blue outline

In reviewing the file folio for the article, it shows that the two States for the MSO play button use the same image.

    http://CDN-ContentViewer.Adobe.com/v/88e59469-94d0-4D3B-95cb-595c7d3a7944/7%20SUMMITS%20SI DEBAR/1/OverlayResources/InDesign_BNDLR_RSRC29936-633919858/Multi-state%2010_State%202_205 11_Content_L.png

I don't know what the behavior planned for this MSO. It is configured as a slide-show mode that loops between the two States, once it is clicked. Because the OSM will be covered by the video full screen, which is the desired effect? Please explain what you want to achieve and we can provide suggestions.

    -No support for overlays

On some browsers, including some versions of Internet Explorer, we support all interactive overlays. The screenshot you posted seems to be an overlay of imageSequence. This special overlay is not supported on some versions of Internet Explorer.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or encounter other problems. We will do our utmost to help.

    Thank you

  • Smooth Scrolling: folio VS article size

    Hello

I would like to create a good article scrolling as in the ADVICE of DPS 'Effects' of Bob Bringhurst.
I follow the steps of the article, but it does not work.

What I want is to have a folio of 1024 * 768 (horizontal only) which includes items that can contain more than 768 height (let's say 1024 * 2000).

    If I create a folio of 1024 * 768 and import products that are 1024 * 2000
I can not download because it says:

    Error generating content.

[Error: the proportions of page size must correspond to the folio.]

    If I create a 1024 * 2000 (example) FOLIO and then import items that are exactly 1024 * 2000
-It works (although I can download) but I can only import items that have the exact dimensions of the folio, the ADVICE of DPS said "you can mix and match the Smooth Scrolling and appease the items in a folio of scrolling.
And then the problem is that I never see the folio on my Content Viewer on iPad then.
I don't see that she she the producer of Folio.
    ??

There is a point that says: "you cannot create article smooth horizontal scrolling, the workaround is to create frameworks scrollables, which can now include interactive overlays"
What bothers me is that in the example, we can see a smooth Horizontal scrolling (1024 * 2000 as well as in my examples and tests)

If the only solution is to cretae scrollables frames, I'll do it, but maybe I just missed something?

    Yes it a/a.
I closed everything that he did everything again and now it works, maybe it was just a bug or I missed something, everything is going well for the moment thank you!

  • Question of InDesign CS6 folio builder/links. For iPad.

Hello. I'm a graphic designer who is very experienced in InDesign using the software to fine printing. I am now branching out with CS6 capabilities and learning design (mainly presentation) applications for the iPad. So I designed a portfolio as a document of several pages including the page orientation to portrait and landscape. The app consists of a sheet of starter that would be a load of animation exported as swf and back imported in InDesign such as HTML5, or MP4, or however (I've nailed it yet because I leave this until the last that this page will be used as screensaver until swiped). When the Viewer slide page 1 they enter the main page "content" with a load of thumbnails within these customers and clients I have charge of case studies. So, I have pretty much designed the layout and that you have to build, but I need to know what I'm limited by.
    Page 1 title page,
content of page 2 (with the scroll bar with links to other pages)
page 3 will be the 1st client and will need about 6 case studies, I guess I'll need to make additional pages. And so on.
In any case, I digress the question I ask is the one to download and test on the iPad via the content player I obviously need to download items in the form of separate pages (incorporating the guidelines both H & V), but I would make the links on my page "content" when the document is a multipage document (IE in its original state) or apply I have these links (as buttons I guess rather than) hyperlinks) when the articles have been separated and I work with page 01, 02, 03 etc in folio Builder? I know not how to create thumbnail buttons but I can't work out how to link them to their desired targets (next page/page no. / etc. etc.) for the record, I would like to present my work on an iPad as an application, without relying on WIFI or 3 G. Last question (phew) is that I have a picture frame with a slide show-is it possible for the Viewer to click on them and open them in full-screen and flick/navigate through this way? then click on a cross in the back of the top corner of the page to the screen they were on. Very grateful for any answer - it's a steep learning curve of print! Steve C, London, England
