• Update loop under Vi of hand / run multiple Instances

  Hey everybody,

  If I want to keep my code as modular as possible so that I can see any sub or VI.

  One of the SUB vi is permanently offices incase another output is detected. I don't want to make this mark on the main level because I don't want a huge loop in my main.vi and you won't worry about sending shift register valuse to my Subvi for him to function.

  Essentially, I have designed this subroutine Vi and am now trying to constantly be driven from a main.vi

  This hand is simply.

  Cluster of entry--> Sub VI

  Void VI retains a loop waiting for a change request action. Unfortuantely when I change the vale in main.vi the avlues in Subvi don't update. I guess that makes sense, in C, for example when you call Returns you need to wait until the end of the function call to update. Yet, as Labview is so strongly focused on taking SUB vi to do almost everything for you, I can't imagine labview is not able to update these values. I looked around and the answer seems to be global variables. I really don't want to use the because my application will become very big, but I'll use them if I need to.

  Unforunately, when I tried to use my global variable thing, it didn't work.

  2. it's in the Subvi both the main VI.

  3. when I run my code the global variable is not up-to-date on both front sides when I change one of them. I'm doing something wrong?

  A few comments.

  • You have not included the global variable
  • If you want to run multiple instances of the Subvi in parallel, it must be reentrant.
  • As the Subvi is interactive, it must be configured to display the front panel when it is called, otherwise there is no way to stop it ever.
  • All your time loops needed little expects. They have no need to turn as fast as the CPU allows, all other processes of hunger.
  • "Go to under control" is extremely complex and crawling with weird stuff like an ant farm.
  • • The shift register must be initialized to avoid surprises (but you probably don't have it all)
    • Your loop runs one time too many.
    • Avoid the stress points, such as the structure of the case.
    • You can replace this whole thing with for example a table of threshold, no need to loop. (see image below).

• Weird bug Simulator runs several applications of JQuery

  Just noticed some really strange behavior in the Simulator. I have three JQuery based applications that all work well, but not when one of the other is already running. When this is the case, a second launched application does not start. It freezes on the loading screen of your application.

  This problem is listed ot the list of known issues:

  After you've started a BlackBerry WebWorks application in the BlackBerry® Tablet Simulator, other BlackBerry WebWorks applications will not start. (1158697)
  
  Impact: You cannot run multiple browser-based applications at the same time.
  
  Workaround: Only run one browser-based application at a time.

• Our application for multiple applications

  Hello... I have now read a lot of pages on the accounts of the Application... And I still don't understand.

  We want to publish a magazine (lets call the Magazine), on Store (iPad, iPhone), Google play and and Amazon.

  The Magazine, now has 3 Folios. iPhone, iPad and Android (maybe two Android versions for 600-800px).

  They where all created with the Adobe ID "userA", until we bought the license of DPS.

  First, we released an iPad only app of Folio unique works with that.

  Now, we would like to roll over other applications and are now running against a wall...

  What are the next steps here? I created a user (UserB) as a test user, to get the Android app to show Folios and noticed, the only way to get the Folio, had for UserA to share his Folio finished with UserB. Open the Producrer Folio as UserB and copy over Folio. It copied the files would then appear on the Android App.

  Then we had to fix the part in the finished Folio and did this on wear, since otherwise, it will add a link to all items.

  The problem was, we now had to do the same (copy to UserB) and now had 2 Folios in the application. If this can be the solution.

  We now use the copied version to work on the portfolio, instead of the original one.

  Which would be a lot of work, restoring links... But would always be ok...

  What will be intresting, is we have to play Google and Amazon. Now should I create another user (UserC) and to share the final Folio with this user, making him copy on his account and have the same folio 3 times then make changes on all 3 of them?

  What about the iPad, iPhone Viewer... We put two slips in the 'user '?

  Hi Volker,

  A delicate thing on the management of the accounts is that a delegate account must be 'new' - may not have been verified to work with DPS. In your example, the '[email protected]' address you used before cannot be added to your new account. Here's what you want to do to build a new iOS app:

  1. create a new account to e-mail such as "[email protected]." Do NOT yet use this account to connect to DPS.

  2. use an administrator account to connect to the DPS dashboard > account management tool. (Also assign this account the role of "DPS App Builder" unless you want to use a different account for multiple applications.)

  3. create a new account delegate for the email account (in this example, '[email protected]').

  4. share the folio from your old account to the new and then use the producer of Folio to copy the folio to the new account. (Folio copied doesn't have to be reprinted when if you share/copy on the same computer).

  Defines you for your iOS (iPhone and iPad) application. You can then connect to DPS App Builder and specify the new account delegate as the title ID to build a multi-folio app or subscription App (I guess you want to convert the simple editing app multi-folio application).

  When you create applications for the game of Google or Amazon, you have the choice. You can use the same account to iOS, or you can create a different delegate account (for example, "[email protected]") and assign the Application role. You can then share/copy of iOS folios and modify them to viewers Android, or you can use this account to create new fact sheets (1024 x 600/1280 x 800/1920 x 1200, etc.). • Login page not coming up when I run the application!

  I'll have an application with multiple pages and have the login page too. I use the account database as the logon mechanism. When I run the application, my login page is not coming sound directly to come with an application page that the user gets in once the connection is successfully.

  Looks like all your pages have authentication value "Page is Public. Change them to 'Page requires authentication' with the exception of the login page.

  I have the following to use cases and would appreciate help.
  
  Our client has multiple applications they need, integrated into a single home page. I use the model of the dynamic tab as my homepage with several boxes of panel containing menus of specific applications. I need to be able to create a tab of any application via the menu.
  
  My strategy is to use the workflow bounded in different applications, but I'm not sure on how to do it 100%. Applications would include also several workflows, so I need then be able to paramatise the task flows so that it can run the correct flow cases.

• Multiple profiles can be addressed by running multiple installations of Thunderbird; rather than put several profiles on a plant?

  Please don't laugh, but I'm running three quite separate mail programs Eudora on a PC; each one with a different email address. I have three icons, and emails are completely separate. I'm just trying to determine if I can do the same with Thunderbird. I know that you can configure multiple messages in a single installation, and then switch back within this facility. But I'm trying to see if I can keep doing what I'm doing now. I know that I have to open a new Eudora program for each email address, but I'm OK with that. Any thoughts?

  You must install Windows on your Mac. Either as a Boot Camp partition separate or in a virtual machine, such as Parallels or VMware. With the first, you start directly in Windows. For all purposes, your computer is a PC. With the latter, you use Windows in OS X, so the two BONES are available at the same time.

  There is also a CrossOver, which can run Windows applications to OS x without having Windows installed at all. But it of all or nothing if an application will run, uncertain, or not at all.

  Then my macbook pro 5,5 I upgraded to snow leopard at el captian started planting after that I updated when you use multiple applications (virtual dj 7.0.4 safari 9.1 and the version of microsoft word 2011 14.4.2).)

  I removed the old hdd and put in a ssd 250 GB and a new battery with the snow leopard a long time ago, before I upgraded to the new operating system. It seems to me that what is blocking it is intensive use the safari app and another intensive resources such as virtual dj application.

• Cannot run multiple firefox version 4 windows

  The problem after the upgrade to FF4 began to occur. In ver 3 I used the Profile Manager and was able to run 2 windows firefox at the same time without any problems on Windows 7.

  Now when I try to do this with version 4, a firefox window-error "firefox no longer works."

  I thought that this was due to an incompatibility add on or something, so I made a withdrawal of the full program, rebooted, cleaned the registry and deleted all the files that firefox on my system. The problem persists.

  You can run multiple version at the same time if the next version is started with the - no-remote switch added to the command line in the shortcut to the desktop.

• Installation of El Capitan problem: "an error occurred during the preparation of the installation. Try running the application again. »

  I've been a fight 2 days now trying to improve my iMac 21.5 2009 end of Mavericks in El Capitan, but as the installation is about to be launched I get this message "an error occurred during the preparation of the installation. Try running the application again".

  Here is a list of all the things I've tried:

  Running the application again;

  Move the installation to another folder application;

  Control date & time and it was already correct;

  Do the installation in safe mode;

  Installation of the upgrade of another user I created only for that purpose;

  The computer restarts and I tried install the upgrade several times;

  And, to be sure that the installation application was not corrupted I made a copy of it on an external HD and tried to install it on my 2011 MacBook Air and it worked (I didn't install because I have El Capitan installed on my MacBook).

  Well, I don't know what else can be done, and I'd rather not have to completely restore my iMac.

  Please try installing again after taking each of these steps you have already taken it.

  Step 1

  Reset the PRAM from your computer.

  Step 2

  If possible, set the clock system as indicated here. If you can only boot into recovery mode, see below.

  In the OS X Utilities screen, select get online help. Safari will launch. While in recovery, you will have no access to your bookmarks or history. Load this web page.

  Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select:

  Copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination.

  Quit Safari. You go back to the OS X Utilities screen.

  Select

  Utilities ▹ Terminal

  in the menu bar. It will open a Terminal window. Paste in the window by pressing the command-V key combination.

  Wait for a new line ending with a dollar sign ($) below what you entered. If it does not appear, press return.

  Quit the Terminal to return to the main screen.

  Step 3

  If your model has replaceable memory by the user and you have upgraded modules of memory, reinstall the original memory and see if there is any improvement. Make sure not to touch the Gold contacts. Clean them with a mild solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Spare memory must exactly match the technical specifications of the machine. Do not install more memory to the maximum value specified, even if a seller of RAM, or someone else, said you that it will work.

  Step 4

  Back up the data at least two different storage devices, if you haven't done so already. A backup is not enough to be sure. Backups are possible with Time Machine or disk utility. Preferably both.

  Erase and install OS X. This operation will destroy all the data on the boot volume, if you be better be sure backups.
