CRS 10.2 Linux fails on the location of the OCR
New 10.2.0.4 install for 2 node RAC system: RHEL5 2.6.18 - 92.el5 with SAN, using paths multiple devices. Configured OCFS2 1.4 according to http://oss.oracle.com/projects/ocfs2/dist/documentation/v1.4/ocfs2-1_4-usersguide.pdf and implementation of multi-channel suite features notes 564580.1 (configuration of raw devices (multipath) for Clusterware Oracle 10 g Release 2 (10.2.0) on RHEL5/OEL5). My plan is to use OCFS for OCR and voting disks. I have properly configured volumes, checked mount points, confirmed that the appropriate entries are in/etc/fstab and also received a file from a mount to a node point and could read successfully from the second. Running RunInstaller-ignoreSysPrereqs. When I get to the step that asked to specify the location of the OCR, when I add the point OCFS (ocr1/u02/and/u02/ocr2 for the mirror), I get an error of installation:The location/u02/ocr1, entered for the Oracle Cluster Registry is a directory. Specify a shared raw partition or cluster file system that is visible by the same name on all node in the cluster
I checked the /etc/multipath.conf file is the same on both nodes, the mount points are the same, that/etc/fstab are identical. I'm puzzled. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Have you tried to provide the name of the file something like/u02/ocr1/ocrfile01 and/u02/ocr2/ocrfile02 as his mirror?

Damn! Found the problem thanks to locate you worker journal for me! :-)
(wonder why it has not been included in the package...)
The Linux server, I was trying to P2V was our external DNS server. If DNS has not been working so I changed my local Win7 to google.
Later, I changed our internal DNS to use google instead of our external as the "next hop" and I forgot to change my DNS Win7 config to use our single internal instead of google DNS.
Now the P2V for my Win7 PC is running...
Thank you :-) for a ton for your help

Hello!
You want to install Oracle Clusterware 12.1.0.2 on Oracle linux 7.1 x 64. When installing, everything was fine, except the last step - utility of Cluster Oracle verification failed with the INS 20802.
In the log file, I found:
INFO: From audits to clock using Network Time Protocol (NTP) synchronization...

INFO: PRVF-7590: 'ntpd' is not running on the node "pdc-sap-ascs1.

But of all the nodes ntpd is running:
[root @pdc-sap-ascs0 ~] # ps ax | grep ntpd

11492 pts/0 s + 0:00 grep - color = auto ntpd
19090? SS 0:05 / usr/sbin/ntpd u ntp:ntp g - x
So, why postinstall auditor has not found of ntpd running?
This situation was prior to installation, I started, but this time I ignored the warning.
Thank you very much for your answers!
The problem is that in both servers, I want to use ntp, and I wrote in the configuration on both servers,
Server ntp.myorg.local iburst
but we use two IPs for ntp, both resolved through dns servers, so in my case the first server got a single for the ntp server ip address and then got another ip. It was a problem and check postinstall determine that the servers use different time sources and do not like this situation.
Once I changed ntpd config to use ips, check postinstall succeeded.

root.sh failed during the installation of RAC11.2g
Dear,
I try to install RAC 11.2 (version of the grid Infrastructure is 11.2.0.1) on both nodes of linux (OS version is 2.6.39 - 400.215.10.el5uek Oracle Linux 5.11)
SELinux + Firewall is stopped, ASM works fine (listdisks and querydisk has my drives correctly), ping between two nodes on public and private IPs is OK, the hosts file, configured for good.
Owner of the DSO is grid user, and this user is the same used during the installation of the grid infrastructure.

HPDM deployment fails with the error code: 14031022
Hello everyone,
I ve a strange problem with a new repository of child I ve created two weeks ago. Following situation:
We have a master and (until now) repository repository a child for two locations. Capture and deployment on each side works fine. Now we're getting a third place, so we need another hpdm gateway and a child repitory to this place.
I've added and configured as one worked and insert the IP address of the gateway again to a thin client to the new location. When I deploy an image on this client, I get the following error in the console of hpdm:

agent update task works.
I ve configured the shared folder and FTP access. Both are available from thin client. Configuration of the repository the two test passed successfully.
Repository of child synchronize all the data from the master repository with success.
Usually, I use FTP in IIS services, but filezilla I ve installed (disabled FTP IIS) for the best connection.
Connects to the deployment task:

I Don t really get what could be the problem. You have an idea? Do you need more information (newspapers, error message TE) for assistance?
Concerning
Martin
After the coup of controller.conf and the screen of the dialog editor repository that you set, your master repository was not configured this way:
ReposPath has the value "C:\Inetpub\Ftproot\HPDM" in controller.conf (assume C:\Inetpub\Ftproot is the root directory of the FTP server)
In the Master repository Editor dialog box:
Implement FTP path to ftp: / /
/HPDM - he WS ftp: / /<>/. your screenshot. This is the reason that all of your linked FTP task failed with the same error code.

Hi all
Have a laptop HP here with heavy problems! After the connection, it slows right down until it takes at least 5 minutes just to open the start - menu it hangs just with the whirly-circle thing. If I do ctrl-alt-del, the screen goes black and after a few minutes, I get the message "Login failed create the security options dialog» The Task Manager does not open. I managed to slightly improve things by disabling the user account control (miserable thing anyway) - it's just too slow, but now the Task Manager opens about 50% of the time and the other 50%, I get the message a little more lively 'failure - security options '. If I leave the phone that it will sort itself out after about 45 minutes, after which it ends to load every startup process and behaves normally. If I boot in Safe Mode, all right. I also ran virus checks - no nasties - and there is nothing surprising in the event logs.
After an extensive search on Google, I have established that many people - all users of Vista, surprise, surprise - had the same problem, dating back years, pretty much when Vista is released. (This laptop is perhaps a year old). Some corrections were proposed, but the majority concluded that the deactivation of their safety programs, regardless of what they were, did the job. This laptop is running Windows Defender and TalkTalk Internet Security, provided by F-secure. Disable Windows Defender made a slight improvement in speed. Deactivation of TalkTalk Internet Security returned the laptop to normal operation. I strongly suspect a fundamental conflict between Vista programs and safety - that we must all know that Vista is rather prone to bugs - but why Microsoft hasn't issued a fix for this? I don't want to go around without security. Nor do I want to download a new program of security and have the same thing happen againn weeks down the line. Someone had the same problem or found a permanent solution for it? I am barking the wrong tree here? I'll try uninstalling a few recent Windows updates to see if any of those who triggered the hissing fit.
Okay, I think that I fixed it. I will post the solution for you all poor users of Vista with the same problem. Corrections of spare is located in the following Vista forum thread:
Error-message-login-process-has-failed-Create-Security-Options-Dialog
So after that I've identified the cause was the Internet of TalkTalk security program, I did some messing around in msconfig and reduced to the function FSGKHS, alias F - Secure Gatekeeper Handler Starter. If I disabled this service, everything has worked, and if I booted up with no other process or running services to all others as the stuff of F-Secure (with the exception of group policies which I think is an essential service?), I had the same problem. Certainly FSGKHS. However, I did not know why. Everything I had was a vague notion that maybe it was a key to registry corrupt or something. I don't know why I even thought to this. And if I hate the registry cleaners, I couldn't think of any other way to identify registry problems. So I created a restore point and ran CCleaner. It came with a bunch of registry errors, but none of them were related to a F-Secure or files of TalkTalk. I told CCleaner to remove it anyway and booted up with FSGKHS running, just on the offchance. Whaddya know? He is cured. Don't know why, but it works perfectly normally from start to stop (fingers crossed). I know a lot of people have solved this problem by disabling their safety programs - maybe they had a corruption of the registry too? A kind of strange thing to register/security/Vista. Anyway, go try CCleaner before you reformat your drive hard peeps and let me know if this worked for you.

Hello
We have recently implemented Foglight and VMware plugin. As part of the VMware plugin, Foglight pulls in all the Linux VM machines including the ESX host. Our team of Linux only manages the running redhat Linux hosts. They fail the ESX VM guest. That said, is there a way to create a view that shows only the hosts running redhat Linux?
For example the view of rail infrastructure below contains 88 Linux machines, but nearly half of them are ESX hosts for our Linux team would not see all these. Is it possible to filter these?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
Tony
The easiest way would be to create a personalized, pair it with Infrastructure and then create a dynamic management component. This will help create you a rule for "All hosts" where you can find just the hosts that are not of the ESX host and run Linux.
The query would be:
detail.topologyTypeName! = "VMWESXServer" & os.longName like «% Linux»

Oh, Snap! Build request failed with the message: error
Hello!
I am working on an app for BlackBerry Playbook with WebWorks. When I try to package it I get the error in the subject (Oh Snap! Application of Build failed with the message: error). There is no more information. I googled but can't find anyone else with this particular problem.
Is there a log somewhere that I can read to see what is happening? Everyone knows this?
Thanks for any help!
Oh, I almost forgot. When I go into the output folder, the .zip file is there, but not the .bar file.
Ok. I finally found the code in command line to compile applications. Here it is for others and reference later: first move the location of the bbwp directory, then run the command bbwp.
CD "C:\Program Search SDK for Tablet
\bbwp Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks" bbwp 'C:\myapp.zip '.
Here is the link where I got the information of: https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/downloads/sdk, then click on "how to get running.
For those looking to sign their application from the terminal, it is also possible. First set up your computer, as described here: https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/ww_publishing/signing_setup_tablet_apps_1920...
Then go into the same directory 'bbwp' as we did above. Finally, run this command:
bbwp
g - buildId o This information can be found here: https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/ww_publishing/signing_your_tablet_app_191966...
Sorry for that write when it is already available elsewhere on the web, but I feel like I should post the complete response for those who come across this message later. I hope it can help someone who has the same problem as me.

KSOAP2 working on the Simulator, but failed on the device. Help, please!
Hi all. Please, I need support on this issue.
I have a request of KSOAP2 running which:
1) Œuvres ALLWAYS on the Simulator (9700 Simulator)
2) FAILS on the device when you use 3 G Internet Link
3) work on the device when hard reseting it and directly using Wi - Fi link (if you switch to 3 G, it starts failing).
When it do I get the following error:
type of org.xmlpull.v1.XmlPullParserException:Unexpected (position: TEXT SocketException:...@1:33 in java.io.InputStreamReader@hexhere)
Some other times I get an IO error faced:
net.rim.device.cldc.io.ippp.SocketBaseIOException: Connection timed Out
The funny thing is that it works through 3 G as 1 in 40 times... it seems that 3 G connection is too slow to KSOAP2 to work properly, or something like that. The complex type is small (8 strings).
My webservice is a webservice VB.NET located on the production IIS server. It works well because it responds to any request of Simulator.
Additional data:
-Other Internet applications of device (such as the Internet browser) works well through 3G even when my application does not always succeed. Coverage of 3G service is excellent.
-J' use JRE 5.0.0.
-Device is a BlackBerry Bold 9700
-Webservice is written in VB.NET in the production on the Internet Server, and it works perfectly because it responds to each request of Simulator.
-J' use javaloader.exe to deploy the cod to the device files (both, ksoap library cod and cod of my project)
-L'application is not signed.
-Once the application starts breaks down (when you switch to 3G) it maintains in default if you return to the WiFi again.
Here is my code:
String res=""; boolean error=false; Vector seguimientos = null; SoapObject m_Soapobject=new SoapObject("urn:tempuri", "GetSeguimientos"); SoapSerializationEnvelope m_Envelope=new SoapSerializationEnvelope(SoapEnvelope.VER11); m_Envelope.encodingStyle = SoapSerializationEnvelope.ENC; m_Soapobject.addProperty("strInstance", "r2sistemas"); m_Soapobject.addProperty("user", "myuser"); m_Soapobject.addProperty("password", "mypassword"); m_Soapobject.addProperty("comercialId", "3"); m_Envelope.addMapping("urn:tempuri/encodedTypes", "Seguimiento", new Seguimiento().getClass()); m_Envelope.bodyOut = m_Soapobject; m_Envelope.setOutputSoapObject(m_Soapobject); HttpTransport ht = new httpTransport("http://www.productionserver.com/service1.asmx"); ht.setXmlVersionTag(""); try { ht.call("urn:tempuri/GetSeguimientos", m_Envelope); SoapObject respuesta=(SoapObject)m_Envelope.bodyIn; seguimientos=(Vector)respuesta.getProperty(0); } catch (IOException e) { error=true; res="IO Problem: " + e.toString(); } catch (XmlPullParserException e) { error=true; res="XMLParser problem: " + e.toString(); } if(error!=true) { Seguimiento seg=(Seguimiento)seguimientos.elementAt(1); res=seg.Comentario; } this.add(new LabelField("aa"+ res));
I read on this forum that ksoap2 cannot treat the http error messages. You must download the KSOAP source and change it to do this. Something like ServiceConnectionMidp. The message is this: link
I use a port KSOAP2 library: ksoap2-j2me-core-prev - 2.1.2.jar, like I said it works fine on the Simulator. I tried to download the source code of KSOAP to debug in the failing methods, but was unnable to do compile ok on Eclipse.
I really am stuck at this point. Please, any help would be great.
Thank you in advance.
Ok. Further reading took me to the problem.
AFAIK, there are 5 ways to connect to web addresses from a BlackBerry device.
Of course, the BB Simulator uses one that works with my WS. When my BB is connected via wifi it works as well. However, when I use the 3g from my device connection, I should mention the destinies of correct connection on the connection URL parameters.
That's what I did:
I read this: 1 Source
And this (Spanish): Source 2
Of course, I noticed that my BB is connected to a BES company, I must indicate the correct ConnectionUID to my address book of device on the connection string. So now the line in my code is:
HttpTransport ht = new HttpTransport("http://www.address.com/service1.asmx;deviceside=false;ConnectionUID=YOURCONNECTIONUID");
To find your UID connection, take your device, go to Options - Advanced Options - service book. Choose a book of service applications that connects successfully on your device (in my case Blackberry Internet Browser service), open it and copy the ConnectionUID. Then, paste it in the connection string.
Now, it works great!
My next challenge is to find connection string parameters correctly so that the application works on any device, not only on my ones company BES.
Someone knows what should be the standard setting?
I hope that my help of inquiry.
P.S. still cannot complete successfully ServiceConnectionMidp...

New installation fails during the expansion of the files Windows 7 Pro
Recently, I built a new computer after my old man died. I installed Windows 7 Pro, I had on the old system. Everything worked well for about a month. Then I started having various errors, some suggesting a memory error. I ran several times using the most comprehensive parameters of memtest and no problem not found. Further inspection, I discovered that a critical system update was applied just before that the problems started. I decided to roll back the change. It does not solve the problem. I tried to do a system repair. That did not work. She only had basic as IE11 and Skype applications. I had also installed the utilities for the motherboard and graphics card. So, I decided to do a clean install. Each time, it fails during the expansion of the files. The error message is, "Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupted or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. "Error code: 0 x 80070570." He gets up to 30% each time. I tried to install for a V300 Kingston SSD (120GB). I also tried another SATA II HDD (750 GB) with the same problems. I downloaded a new ISO and tried to install from that. Yet once, it is not at the same point. I noticed that whenever it creates a partition system reserved 100 MB which is almost full. At one point, I got a message saying that there are about 8 000 MB of free space. (I think that was all trying to manually unzip the files by a tip I found online). I found several suggestions for similar problems, but the solutions proposed did not help. I'm sure it will be a simple solution, but I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
