• Spotlight indexing problems

  I cleaned files on my hard drive - re-filing of certain documents (pdf files) rename photos - adding text says pictures of things like that.

  Have had occasional problems with gel - startup etc - that only seem to happen after a cleaning.

  By checking newspapers led to a finder error - saying his flight, or a job did not finish before the closure.

  If you are looking for articles on how Spotlight indexing problems - other sites of mac users - OSXdaily, for example - to have discussions on this topic, including advice on how to use a statement in a terminal to turn it off completely - the problems are similar to those that I have - then it's perhaps a question that has not been reported to Apple.

  My problem seems to be a combination of chaining a large number of files and moving them - combined with Time Machine.   I have restore a plu Time Machine folder which contained 1200 small pdf files - which lost some how because of permission issues when I moved them.    As well as readonly files I could not restore them unless I put them in the box and then changed all the permissions read and write.   The older folder was actually the first time machine upward when the main folder in question had been copied from the CD for the office (he gave no permission to write to the subfolders in the main but to load data)

  My time machine is now stopped and I ejected the drive until I decide how to restart backup.

• Indexing problem

  I'm running a state machine in a loop and wish to record the errors that occur and diplay on the fron Panel. Because there are many caases and many mistakes possible I want to make sure that all is displayed something like the following.

• Function Index problem.

  I have a problem regarding a function function index.

  I create the index on the table, column, a test using a user-defined function.

  If you use a deterministic function really, it works:

  Or, if you reverse the order of your second inserts (insert the folder before the recording of test1 test2) - it works fine.

  The reason why you get no results is when you insert the file test1 with a = 2, Oracle executes the function and gets no data, so it assumes that the result is NULL and puts in the index. You said Oracle function is deterministic, so he starts from the principle that any time test_fn (2) is called, it retrieves a null response.

  Where as "auto generate FK index" option in DataModeler 4.0.3?

  You must right click on the browser for the design node and then select Properties.

  In the design properties dialog box, you will find the option automatic generation of indexes for FKs on settings > page DDL.

  I created a new site where I created a version of the Tablet and a version phone... when I exported it in the HTML code... it created separate index's for the Tablet and phone version... now when I open the site on chrome... I was unable to check the version of the tablet or version phone... so I installed google chrome app known as mobile reagent tester... and when I opened the site on the tester... I have not seen the phone version... is to open the desktop version... I dunno what to do now... I have to open the index of the version phone? If Yes... How can I work combine the versions... for that my client is not facing any problem...

  These separate index html files are stored in special folders in the main HTML file. You can try to open them in your browser and take a look at them. But from the general index of HTML files, scripts embedded in this page are difficult to be "deceived" by referring to other index files. This passage is only 'live' on real and appropriate devices.

  My solution: after inserting the DVD 2 go to Menu > edit > select all
  and the installation will run. Repeat this procedure after DVD 3 and 4.

• z-index problem (I think)

  Hi all

  I have a simple image (x 6 photos) click swap. I have 3 columns, left and Center with the image swap and they work fine, but the right column I can't make it work. I suspect that maybe it's the z-index?

  Would appreciate someones help please.

• index problem with regular letters

  Illustrator applies the effect index only to numeric characters, for example 1,2, etc.. But it does NOT apply it alphabetical characters, for example a, b, c etc. I observe that using the default Myriad Pro font, as well as the other fonts.

  How can I request letters exposing to regular (not only the numbers)?

  p.s., I use the menu Ctrl + T, and then go to the OpenType tab and select index under positional parameter and observe the above problem. I'm doing something wrong here?

• Exit Photoshop generator reflow problems

  Do I have to just clean the areas of text by hand, or there at - it a group of layers/naming that can handle the output to make it look remotely like the original design in photoshop. Whenever I have create a file to get this output problem. I made boxes to maintain the text and images and set the width of the text boxes to the automobile. This solves the problem, but does not make use of the reflow file generated a faster solution to use the asset and recreate the reflow file to match the original design.

• CS4 export to PDF problem

  I'm the editor of layout for my high school newspaper, and we recently had a new imac. We put cs4 on it and made our first page.

  I exported to PDF (with the same settings as on the old mac that works very well) and all the headlines turned to black boxes. We then took the form of indesign files the new mac put it on the former and exported out of that old and everything went well. Note the black boxes.

  Ok!. Having found the cause of the problem. Take a look at line 109 to 111 of the p7PMMscripts.js and you will see

• Premiere CS4 on Windows 7 problems

  My job is to edit weekly videos for a college. They provided me with a computer Windows 7 and Adobe CS4. My source material comes from shared servers. For these months, everything worked without problems. In the last two weeks, I had various problems with first which are not compatible.

  1. sometimes playback and controls start just behind until the program crashes.

  2. sometimes audio clips from a single source will be suddenly silent when reading, even if the waveform on these clips is displayed. It also keeps exports to be successful (the log says 'Error compiling Movie - unknown error').

  3 there are sometimes JPEGs or png that I bunk is not found when I open the project file, with result the box "Media disconnected" in their place.

  4. even if none of the above happening, export the video as an AVI file causes audio choppy who cut then when it reaches the clips referred to at 2.

  Help please? As I said, not all of these problems occur on a regular basis, but at least we're still here.

• Help necessary after CS4 CS3 installation uninstall problem

  I recently upgraded my computer from Vista to Win7, so I spent a lot of time to update applications.  I realized my CS2 wouldn't work and I was told that I had to at least get CS3.  I bought the CS3 and installed on my two new Win7 machines without problem.  I then discovered that CS3 is no longer supported by Adobe, so I need to get CS4 or CS5. I installed CS4 trail and decided for now back to CS3.  I had not uninstalled CS3, but was disabled, not knowing if CS4 would no longer write it or if the two can co-exist.  uninstalled CS4 via the Control Panel, CS3 re-activated and all was well on both machines.  Then, on my machine main update of Adobe wanted to update a few modules, InDesign and Acrobat Pro.  Things went very well with the update until he asked me my CS4 disc?  I have it mood the second time and fed Alternatively the CS3 and CS4 disc... he let me not put both if I swapped the drives until I was no longer able to lift my arm and when everything is done, the installation failed.

  He left me with no functional InDesign.  To make things worse, activation could not connect to Adobe for some reason any.  I was able to use the phone process to activate products, but now I wanted to try installing CS3, but it wouldn't let me disable due to network issue, and there is no option to disable, internet phone or she to jump.

  I called Adobe and asked for help.  I talked about the problem of turning off for them.  They said to go and Uninstall CS3 and we arrange activation after the re - install.  Knowing that he might take a long time, he said he'd call me back... never did.  I tried to help and were unable to get help.
