  If you had bought the upgrade to CS4 CS5.5 you would have gotten CS5.5 upgrade serial number.

  When you install CS5.5 you will also get the prompt to enter the serial number of the previous application eligible version

  After putting the serial CS5.5 key.

  I bought the CS5.5 Web Design Premium equivalent to benefit from free to CS6 upgrade when it is released.

  After too breaking autour with Adobe services customer (week after week), I finally received mail upgrade disc (I am based in the United Kingdom).

  The problem I have now is that this disc has become scratched and I look forward to receiving another disc.

  After talking with someone via chat online, I was told that only those who have purchased an online copy may download it. As I bought directly through Adobe by phone, I had no right to an automatically generated download link.

  The upgrade also does not appear in my product pages.

  So, can someone please help to know where I can download a copy of the upgrade, rather than wait for it to pass in the post?

  As long as you have the serial numbers for the upgraded version and the version of basic (CS6 and CS5.5 respectively in your case) programs will install fine. Download the demo version of www.adobe.com/downloads/ and install the software. The installation will ask you perhaps for the CS5.5 serial number (after you have entered your serial number CS6). The installation file or the setup.exe file is the same on drives and on Adobe.com.

  I am trying to download the files for Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium CS5 from Adobe online, like my new Mac is not a CD player.
  It allows me to download the files on my computer.  The question arises with the installation.  I click Download and then install it and it says:

  "'Install' is damages and cannot be opened.

  You must eject the disk image.
  'Install' is on the disk image
  'DesignPremium_CS5_LS1.dmg '.  Google Chrome

  Can anyone help at all?  I have all the details of my serial number.

  I could solve the problem by creating a USB bootable from the downloaded file. DMG file (which is still too too complicated).

  In disk utility, add a USB and delete all content. Once this is done, you can double-click on the dmg to mount the adobe files. From there, you can return to the disk utility, and go into the second part of the now deleted USB (probably without title if you don't rename). Click on restore and select the CD to restore from (I'm on El Capitan beta, a few different stages so that it is). It takes a bit to restore, but once it's done, you can launch the installation of the usb now.

  Surprised, I can install both CS4 and CS5.5 downloads, simply not CS5, which is what leads me to believe that the file is buggy if it is not started from a disk.

  Design Premium CS5 is untested in point 8.1 of Windows, so it is difficult to tell if it will work with Windows OS 8.1 or not. You can follow the article: system requirements | Design Premium to check the system requirements for the same thing.

  Also, you can follow the articles: troubleshooting installation | CS5, CS5.5 and errors in the Installation and launch journal | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC and troubleshoot accordingly to try to make it work on your computer.

• Problems with the re-installation of CS5.5 Design Premium

  I bought a 'student and Teacher Edition' of the CS5.5 Design Premium in 2012. It was installed in my iMac and the software worked perfectly. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, my iMac crashed disk and must be replaced. When I get back the iMac recently, I reinstalled my software including the CS5.5. The resettlement process went fine at first until the bar of 93% when there is a message that tells me to disable the application "SafariNotificat". I have no idea what it was. After looking through all the applications, I could not find this application 'SafariNotificat', I canceled the installation process. Apparently, all applications to the Conference on disarmament were installed successfully, with the exception of the Adobe Acrobat X Pro. When I tried to reinstall my CD. I received the error message "Exit Code: 7 - Summary - 1 fatal Error (s), 2 error (s), 0 warning (s) ERROR: DW020: found payload conflicts and mistakes: ERROR: DW020:-Adobe Flash CS5.5 depends on Flash Player must be installed." FATAL: DW020: conflicts were found in the selected payloads. Stop the installation. -----------". This happens even when I installed using the downloaded program from Adobe. Can someone advise me on this? How can I get my Adobe Acrobat X Pro re-installed? Thank you.

  (b) can I leave Dreamweaver CS4 on my computer until CS5 is installed? I hope that Dreamweaver CS5 pick up my Web site files, settings and extensions to DWCS4. Then I could disable the CS4 license and uninstall this software.

  3. I have a problem to have only two activations allowed with CS5. I am the only user of this software. I'll install CS5 on my current PC (Windows XP Pro), but at the beginning of next year, I want to buy a new PC (Windows 7-64 bit). My understanding is that it will use up my two activations - this hypothesis is correct? I had a drive hard fatal accident earlier this year and was unable to disable the CS4 products until it doesn't. When I reinstalled CS4 products on the restored machine, I learned that I had exhausted an activation for each product. Adobe please give the crashes and does not charge a Setup for this? I assume that they can read the Mac address of the computer with the re-setup during the activation process?

  (1) you are allowed two simultaneous activations for one user with two systems as a desktop computer and a domestic or mobile computer. Are the two systems cannot be used simultaneously. In other words, two activations is not the same thing as two licenses!

  (2) (a) No, you don't need to disable existing software.

  (2) (b) Yes, you can.

  (3) If you experience a system failure which opposes a deactivation and you run out of activations, call the Adobe Activation Center - phone number should appear on your screen during activation fails. Explain the situation and usually they will give you an extra activation. (Note that they that.) Of course, suitor drive hard breaks down too often will trigger alarms!)
