  Whenever I try to access a folder in the Bridge CS6 containing a GIF file, bridge breaks down.

  Moving the file in the folder (with viewfinder) stop the occurrence of the accident. I tried with several different GIF files, different ages, with or without animation. Any GIF file causes crash in ANY folder. Very frustrating that I cannot use the bridge to use no matter what file with a GIF file inside.

  I use Bridge CS6 5.0.1.21 (CC) on a Mac with os x 10.8.2.

  Seen another post suggesting using the 32-bit version instead of 64-bit, but it's a Windows thing.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  CS6 bridge crash when opening any file with a GIF in it for me too. I disabled all the scripts in the preferences, and it crashed is no longer. Then I activated the scripts one at a time and tested the behavior. Bridge not crash each time. When all the scripts have been activated, he has not yet crash. Do not know what has been fixed, but a script was probably corrupted and when recharged to run at startup. That's my guess. Hope this works for you also.

  I just installed PSE7. Works well with an image open. However when I opened a second image (gif or jpg) it crashes. Every time. Even if I don't open an image, then immediately open the second, it crashes. I tried different images and access them on another disk, but repeatedly, reproducible I can crash the application by opening a second file of the image.

  As happening on my machine at home (where I have a second authorized copy) I can't that assume there is a problem in my system configuration: Windows XP Pro SP3 more latest updates, Intel Core 2 Quad CPU 2.4 GHz, 3.25 GB of memory. eSet antivirus.

  Your Extension Manager CS6 upgrade 6.0.8? If not, please upgrade to 6.0.8, if so, please send a detailed journal for us, you can get the detailed log by following step:

  1. Tools-> preferences-> Diagnostics, check the 'enable the newspaper detailed;

  I'll try later, but I think I may have found the problem. It seems that the cs6 dreamweaver made two files confquration on the same day, but only about 4 hours out. This does not seem normal to me.  Does anyone know why an expensive program like this would do that? Was it a mistake of the operator? I asked the woman who runs this program and she doesn't know anything about the configuration files.   I understand that iMovie will leave whenever you launch the application after trying to share to the theatre.  To start with this issue where iMovie can not open, I would you please create an iMovie library and see if iMovie opens with this new library:

  Create a new library

  1. Choose file > open library > new.

  2. In the Save dialog box appears, type a name for the new library and navigate to the location where you want to save it.

     The default location is the movies folder in your home folder.

  3. Click Save.

     A new library is created at the chosen location, and an empty event with the current date is created.

  iMovie (2013): work with multiple libraries

  If iMovie opens in the new library, we know that there is a problem with your existing library.  The good news is that your information is not lost, since you are able to move your projects and media:

  Copy or move projects, events, or the clips between the libraries, or drives

  1. Connect a hard disk that contains the library target to your computer, or copy the library target on your computer.

  2. Choose file > open library and choose an option from the submenu.

     You can choose among libraries recently opened at the top of the submenu, locate an existing library on your computer, or create a new library.

  3. The selected library opens in the list of libraries, with the first selected event and its content is displayed in the browser.

  4. In the libraries list, select the event that contains the item you want to move or copy.

  5. In the browser, select the item you want to move or copy.

     Note: To select multiple items, hold down the command key when you click the items that you want to select or drag a marquee around the items.

  6. Do one of the following:

     • To move items between events or libraries: drag the clip or the project to another event or a library.

  Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

  My copy of Windows XP works the same as yours.  Apparently the date folder is not updated when the content is, that fact make some sense as the folder itself is not updated when new content is created in the it.

  As a user since the days of DOS command lines and having had a routine all the way through to XP, this new window is one of the most annoying pop ups for an experienced user. If it isn't a swith toggle check box or an other power selection for this message, there must be. And if there is, you did it quite hard to find.

  The dialog box that appears in Windows 7 that starts with "there is already a file with the same name to this place. It lists then the three choices - "Copy and replace", "Do not copy" and "copy, but keep both files.

  I managed several libraries of forms which oblige me to replace the files throughout my day. I make a copy of the file I replace first of all, for archival purposes and this pop-up box is, well, it's boring. There must be a way to disable.

  This box comes up to move files and to copy the files.

  Any help in these turn off would be appreciated.
